Hello!

First of all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I hope you are having a great day and that you are otherwise doing well, too.
Are you celebrating today?

So and now about the last comment ;D

The book-keeping was ok so far. It was nice to be finally able to use some of the knowledges I learned so far. Most time I watched the work of the others or did some smaller tasks. In the last week I mostly did the filing which has been a bit boring.

My summer break has now finally started, too. :D
I took the last 2 days before it off and now a have 3 and a half weeks of break.
Nothing compared to the ones when I was still going to school. :(
But I'm happy to have the first break since march that is longer than 4 days.

Ah, yes food, I'm like this too, especially when it's about chocolate... ;D
Hmm, I can't really remenber waht I ate back then. I think it was somethig like asian noddles with vegetables and salad... ^^

And yes, anime and manga are terrible time consumers =D
But now I'll try to watch enough during my summer break to avoid the desire to watch to many when I need my time for other things.
I hope this works out... ;D

How is your job search going? I hope you had some positive replies since we talked last.
I also know the problem with malfunctioning printers. Especially when I need them for something important...
Maybe it's Murphy's Law ;D
Hope you printer is working now!

How are you spending your summer break?
I'm terribly lazy these days. I spend my time with reading, finally getting enough sleep, browsing the internet and watching anime.
Not very much, I know ;D
I also did some excursions with my family, which can also be nice sometimes. :)
Together with some of my friends I also planned to go on a camping trip. But due to the bad weather here this has been cancelled for now.
I would have liked to go on a bigger trip and spending my money of the first year of my apprenticeship on it. But I havent found someone who would accompany me.
Maybe next year...
So, in overall I'm doing fine.

And I hope you are enjoying your summer break and are doing fine, too.

Anna :)

Hey! =D

At work it is still ok at the moment. Since this monday I changed the department again and now I'm at the book keeping. It's ok so far, but not as interesting as the sales department. But the best is, that I'm just two and a half weeks ahead of my summer break (finally!) =D
The lunch was good, we ate in the company's canteen, which usually offers good meals and has a nice salad buffet.

You could be right about anime hindering my studying. Many of them are just too addicting. And when it comes to manga and books it is even more time consuming ;D
But there were some other factors as well...

Congratulations for passing the interview! ;)
I hope you will enjoy this course and that you'll be able to learn what you wanted to learn. :D

You alternative idea seems to be very interesting, too. ^-^
A combination of earning and learning is always great. I think it's handy to earn own money early and so be able to be more independet even at a young age. And there is still the possibility to learn more and gain a better or more interesting job in the future...

Are there any news about your job search?

I hope you are fine and that you'll have a nice rest of the week.
Greetings,
Anna ;D

Hey! ;D

At the moment it's really good at work. I'm in the sales departement since one week and the people are very nice there.
Last friday and today I was allowed to accompany an employee of this department while some customers were visiting our company. That was very interesting (and I got a free lunch ;D )

Normally I don't have that big problems with math... but this time it was about statistics and thats not really the kind of math I like ;D

Thanks! :)
I also hope that I'll pass all of the tests. Next time I really need to learn more and start earlier ;)

Your I.T. course seems to be really important, if you even have to take an interview for it. Is it something that will be determining for your future carrer?
And good look for your job search :)

Anna :D

Hello! =D

Glad you don't mind it that much :)

I think the busy time is finally over. At least for the moment. All I have to do now is going to work and do some housework at home.
About the tests... only math was really bad and the English test was incredibly difficult compared to our lessons.
I cannot really estimate the other ones, I didn't learn that much but somehow I could answer nearly every question and now I'm hoping something correct was included ;D

I'm glad to hear that you're fine and that you got the letter for your I.T. course ^^
I hope it'll be interesting for you ;D

Anna :)

Hi Anna,

Yes, it has been a while. I'm so sorry, that I didn't wrote back earlier. I feel so bad :(

I've been a bit busy lately. I had my final tests for this term and now, since this week, I'm working again. For this I've moved back to my family's house, because it's nearer to my working place. So I couldn't find the right time to answer your last comment. again, I'm very sorry.
Apart form that, I'm doing very fine. :)
And how have you been doing?

Anna

Tanyuu | 05-28-08, 5:10 AM
Hello ^^
Sorry for the late answer but after my long weekend was regrettably over I had to go to university again (learning, preparing a presentation, tidying up, buying groceries and all this stuff)...

Wow! South Africa! I suppose, that must have been very nice and interesting there.
Was this something like a student exchance? And how log have you been there?
(Hope you don't mind my asking, but I always have to it to do it, when people has spend time in an country unknown to me. It's great ot her about the experiences they made, the people who are living there, the weather, the countryside and so on...^^
During my last working phase I talked nearly a whole day with someone who has done backpackers-tours for many years. That was really interesting. I'd like to do something like this, too but all my friends were not very enthusiastic. Maybe in the future, but I don't have that much time at the moment anyway.)

I've let some beginnigs of stories read by some friends of mine. They said they were not bad and that I would have some imagination and phrasing at least.
But later I didn't show anyting to anyone. I wasn't writing that much and I was worried about what they would say. I only thought about the stories and characters and when I wanted to write something down my old problem was there again.
But I'm alway saying to myself, that I would start real writing again when I'll have more time.

Thats great for you getting positve feedback :D
Your stories seems like I would like them. Dark, action, adventure and romance. That seems very dramatic.
One of my favorite genres ^^

We also had to work somewhere during middleschool. But only for one week.
I worked at an architect's office. It was really interesting especially visiting not yet finished houses. It was another childhood draem to study achritecture. I always drew ground plans of my future dream houses and when I was thinking about a stories I started with a plan for a house or flat where one of the characters lives in ;D
But later on I lost somehow the interest after hearing some commonsense words from my parents about how difficult it would be to find a job. (it seems always the same with my career ideas ^^)
I also worked at my mother's workplace some years ago, but only as a vacation job and earned my first own money be cleaning glasses for two weeks. I was so happy when it was over and I could enjoy the rest of my holidays. ^^

Thanks, I slept very well in the end. I used the sofa in another room so that I didn't hear them at all. I always sleep too well on this sofa, especially durig the afternoon when I'm supposed to learn or do other more or less imortant stuff ;D.
Furtunately I don't have such a comfortabe sofa at my flat here at the university's town.

Bye for now and I hope to talk again soon ^^

ahh, I was babbling too much again... ;D

had to redo the comment, some terrible misspellings =D

Tanyuu | 05-23-08, 8:26 PM
Yay, long comment again!
Thanks ^^

Ah, I also learned French for 4 years during middle school. Back then I never really enjoyed it (this was the language with the teacher problem). But today I think it is a beautiful language, so I think about improving it someday, too. I still have some passive vocabulary, but I don'd think, that I could talk or write something very useful.
Did you learn some other languages, too?

And I know the problems of distractions. Althogh I always have some ideas in my mind I was never really able to write them down.
On the one hand there were always things like school and learning, later searching for a job and many other stuff, which were getting in my way.
And on the other hand I think it is hard to write stories down. When I wrote something I never liked it when I was re-reading it. Then I changed everything and in the end it wasn't better than in the beginning. May be I'm just too perfectionist in these matters.

You wrote, you had some positive feedback.
May I ask, what kind of stories you are writing?

Did I understad you correct, and you worked in a publisher's?
I suppose, this must have been very intersting! ^^

About the lawer question...
It wansn't that big dream to study law, only an alternative and when my parents said, that I would have to memorize a lot of stuff, I kind of lost the interest ^^.
Although later I had some law lessons at school and they were really interesting.
We also have law lectures at our university but they are terrible boring there. The teacher is only reading out aloud some law-texts and does not explain very much.

Aww, thanks for the compliment about my English. :D
Although I fear my teacher is not thinking the same. I talk very few during the lectures and always if she asks me something I rarely know the answer. I know the answers for the other questions, but never for mine ^^
Murphy's Law, may be... XD

So, now I'm comming to an end ;D
I'm tired... again
It's late... again
And the birds are singing... again ^^
Ah, terrible internet, and also I was unable to stop reading Blade of the Immortal...
I want to have the next volume ;)
Now, I think I'm going to bed and try to get some sleep. Although I'm not sure if I'm able to do so, because my brother is holding a LAN-party next door.
This must seem like we would be family of terrible insomniacs XD

Tanyuu | 05-22-08, 8:11 PM
OK... this was a very long comment ^^
So, yay and thanks, because I like to read a lot, too.

Philology is the science about language. I don't know much about it, but I always thought it would be interesting to learn how languages or words are connected to eachother.
But, if I would aim to do something like this somewhen in the future, it would mean, that I have to learn at least one ancient language (like Latin).
Today I think it's very interesting to learn different langugages, but when I was younger and had more changes to do so, my interest wasn't that high. Learning a language also depends on the teacher, and, to be honest, I didn't have the best ones. (And I was lazy about learning my vocabulary ^^). Also I always had some problems with the pronunciation of new languages.

Your plans for the future seem to be very interesting.

During a time in middle school, I also thought about becoming a lawyer, at least studying law and then working as a notary.

And I can truly understand the dream of becoming an author. :D
Since I was a child I alway loved stories and books. And I loved it to think about some own stoires and characters.
I think my true dream is also to become an author, too.
But it is very hard to put the stories down to the paper and make them enjoyable for a possible reader.
I always feared that they would be stereotyped, boring or already been written.
It woul also be interesting to work in a publishing company, may be as a reader.

So, that was it for now. Please forgive me, if I'm using some strage grammar or my comment is full of misspellings. I'm a bit tired at the moment and... OMG it's already dawning and the birds are beginning to sing O.o
I really need to go to bed. At least I have a day off tomorrow/today.
Evil internet ^^

dabazzinator | 05-22-08, 2:59 AM
Eeek! "Speak soonieess", well I'm sorry it's twenty hours later, but everything went well. Getting a couple hours of sleep surprisingly lets the body have a lot of energy; so all went well. I work at Costco selling televisions, computers, and jewlery. It's fun and I'm definitely rackin' up experience for my business degree. Oh yeah, guess what?! I just saw the midnight show of Indiana Jones! It was a fun watch, but some of the stunts were ridiculous--you'll have to see it to believe it, trust me!!!! By the way, what time is it where you are?

Tanyuu | 05-21-08, 2:37 PM
It's nice to hear that you don't mind longer comments. I always tend to talk/write a lot about these themes ^^

I thought about staying in the company at least for one or two years after my graduation to get some more working experience.
And then... who knows.
The company is very near to the place where I've been living since I was a child. But I always wanted to live elsewhere (at least for some time).
It would be a great to go abroad to gain new experience, improve my languages and become more independent. There are also different offers from the university for studying or working in other countires for a couple of months.
It could also be possible that I will do something completly different from now. Like studying literature, theology, psychology or philology. (It seems to be very interesting ;D )
But and I still have some time to decide how my plans will look when I will have finished my study. I shoud concetrate on the thinks ahead of me and learn for my exams ^^

And what do you have in mind for your future?

Tanyuu | 05-21-08, 12:43 PM
Be aware of long comment ^^

Since I'm still in my first year, my tasks in the company aren't very important or exciting. I'm passing through different departments (e.g. the storehouse, purchase department, the production, the selling department or the financial controlling) to learn how they are working together and how the company is structured.
The most time I'm only watching other people do the work, because I've not yet the knowledge or trainees aren't allowed to do something. Sometimes I had some little tasks like to skrew some smaller components together or place orders.
Really interesting was it when I had to interwiev diffenrent emloyees about e-learning and to analyze the answers afterwards.
I think the company has a really nice working athmosphere, bacause it's still medium sized and not too big or impersonal.

Tanyuu | 05-21-08, 11:32 AM
Yes it's kind of an university, but my study is a dual education sytem. So half of the time I'm studying and the other half I'm working in a company. But the graduation it will have the same worth as at a "normal" university.
It's much to learn, but then again I already earn my own money. ^^

dabazzinator | 05-21-08, 12:12 AM
I'm reading Me Talk Pretty One day by David Sedaris. It's so amazingly hilarious. It's a definite read.

Hey,

smilefortomorrow said:

I'm glad you're fine, heh and I'm doing okies thank you just a little tired and dusty eyed at the minute. =P

I'm glad to hear, that you are fine, too ;D
And I can really understand the the feeling of being tired and having dusty eyes. Almost every morning I feel like this during my lectures ^^

dabazzinator | 05-20-08, 12:54 AM
Well, I'm going to try and read myself to sleep because insomnia is definitely a killer for work in the morning, haha. It's pretty cool to see how many fans of anime/manga there are, and yes, you are right about how much this site helps to find new anime and such. Anyways, keep in touch!
