This is a very enjoyable one-shot manga. I love the characters and will never get tired of reading this book. I truly enjoy the story, and the hopeful romantic in me squeals in delight every time I finish it.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful art, interesting and engaging story, very romantic, and the three stories are all related.

Cons: Obviously not historically accurate (but who cares!) and Yuuen is way too effeminate for my tastes.

It's obvious that this is an earlier work of Bleach's Tite Kubo. The art isn't quite as polished as her later projects and some of the story elements carried over. The characters are interesting, yet they seem like prototypes for some of her later series.

Pros: Interesting story, great chance to check out the development of a famous artist's/author's progress, unique character designs

Cons: Ending leaves the reader hanging, unsatisfying if you're read Kubo's later works, basic "searching for 'forbidden' things" plot
