are you sure you checked out fate/zero and not fate/stay night? because i have no idea how that can be unwatchable, its from the same makers as kara no kyoukai
and what bothered you about death note and steins;gate?

kara no kyoukai, steins;gate (gives you good laughs until a certain episode), death note or fate/zero (probably the one with the most action out of them) are probably the best ones i have watched, i would recommend baccano but it's slow at times due to the story (which i don't mind)

I always watch Anime at night, but I'm not scared of anything anymore. I hardly get shocked by flying limbs and spilling organs now. No idea if that's a good thing but whatever.
