Yeah, damnit! Why were you that late replying?! I'm going to get angry with you. Hahaha, no no. No worries. You're probably better off not writing to me now anyway, since I'm not really on good terms with replies as of late. I hope we get to talk again on MSN one of these days though. I enjoyed the last time! I saw The Dark Knight now too and it would be cool to discuss it with you. Seemed like you had a lot of thoughts on it. I guess I have too although I forgot all of them, haha.

Haha yeah I guess you're right. I have an advantage being in the future and all ^_^;; But doh, I was in fact surprised to see that it was your birthday all of a sudden. You're supposed to mention things like that so I can properly prepare something! I love giving things away, but I guess we really don't need specific dates to give stuff away to our friends, do we? And don't worry about my assignments and all that. Doing stuff for my friends is a way to relax for me and also seeing their happiness when I hand it to them is <3
Really? Did you get the chance to celebrate it with them before they left? For me it doesn't really matter how old you are or anything, I always like to celebrate my birthday with my close friends and loved ones. Did you do anything special? Ate cake? Blew out candles? ;-)
I have no plans for the weekend really, other than finishing the fifth, and second last, assignment. I might finish Ouran and watch a movie or two too. Who knows! I really need to get out in the fresh air too this weekend but it's so incredibly hot. I don't particularly like it. What about you?

Been having this discussion about manga and anime quite some times with friends now actually. It's hard to say which is better since it comes down to what kind of person you are and what material it is that you're reading or watching. I guess manga can be compared to books in a way and in that sense I think it gets more intimate and you get to know the characters better. There are more attention to detail. Anime on the other hand can give you more impressions in a shorter period of time which makes it suitable for action series for instance. Anyways, I think you're more entitled to speak about this than I am since I've pretty much only been reading series that I've already seen as animes. I do however believe you that it gets more intimate and you feel like you're more part of the story than in the anime. In anime you're more of a bystander.
I really hope I'll get to see it next week. All depends on when me and my friend decide to go see it. There's no good local cinema showing it now so we have to visit one of the bigger neighboring city which is quite cumbersome. Conveniently enough though my friend lives in one of them so I guess we'll crash in his apartment after having seen the movie. I like what I'm hearing though and I think Batman goes a long way in that sense, and it was pretty obvious already in the first movie that it wasn't your average action hero story. It was darker. I'll gladly sit and discuss it with you after I've seen it. Problem will be to sync up so that we're online at the same time, heh.
And hey! You know I don't mind the long comments at all. I'm usually the one who start it anyway so I'd have to blame myself for receiving those long comments. It actually doesn't require that much more energy to answer a longer comment than a shorter one because once you've sat down to write something it's pretty easy. However! Long comments usually have more serious content which can require you to think a bit more before answering... so yeah. Whatever *rambling*
I happily talk to you anyway so I like 'em both short and long. Emm.... yeah. That didn't sound pervy at all :D

Do you like it?! If I would've had the energy in me I would've masked out a girl from Full Moon wo Sagashite but they were all so intricate. So detailed! Would've taken me forever to clean one of those pictures / scans that I found. If you insist I'll make an honest effort at using one of those chars in the banner instead but hopefully you'll be pleased with this one. I think she looks dazzling against the blue background ;-)
Oh so that's Taylor! Sorry for forgetting about that fact. That's what you get for speaking to too many persons, sigh. I should focus on a few select people instead and I'll probably be able to be a better and more devoted friend. Anyways, I do remember her now that you mention it and I do know what that feels like. You can get really close and attached to a person over the Internet. I do hope you get to see each other in real life sometime! At first it might feel a bit odd but I'm sure you'll be comfortable with each other pretty fast. I gotta say that talking on the Internet has it advantages to talking in real life though. It's so relaxed in a way... kinda like talking on the phone and not really caring about whether it goes silent for a while or not. I used to have those phone calls back in my adolescent years.
Oh Nana! I gotta see that series. It looks to be one of those dramas that really have an impact on you and leaves you with a bittersweet feeling afterwards. It's kind of like reading a book since you get so attached to the characters, they almost become a part of your life and when the series comes to an end it feels like a limb of your body is being torn away. Do you read the manga as well? I heard that the anime ended pretty abruptly and that it was no real ending whatsoever. It's relieving that there's manga in that sense, even though I think manga can never really replace anime. Music and voices do so much, especially for an action series (although we're not talking action here).
Really?! Well if you wanna do it I'll be anticipating it like a young boy before Christmas day! ^_^;;
Doh, she got bitten? That can be traumatizing for life really. I hope she manages to get in touch with dogs in the future so as to not develop a phobia for them. Dogs, cats and animals in general as so adorable. I'm not sure yet but I hope to be getting a cat this fall. We'll see about that. Only thing that worries me is how it'll treat my furniture and all my gadgets, haha.
I wanna see it! I love Christian Bale and Batman as well. Plus, I really wanna see how Heath Ledger did now that he's passed on. That's pretty sad really. Wouldn't it be cool if he got the Oscar? That would totally rock and be kind of touching in a way. Haha, a Joker t-shirt? Maybe I should've used a joker for the banner instead of Yuroichi ^_^;; Tell me about your impressions of the movie after you've seen it, alright?

Apparently there was some bad communication between the convention people and the university they were going to hold it at. People are furious- I was reading some of the comments on the forum. People bought plane tickets and stuff for this, not to mention spent a lot of money on their costumes. The convention people are trying to find a new place to host the convention, hopefully on the same days as before. They refuse to give refunds for now.
Anywho, how are you? Find anything good to read/watch lately? Been out with your friends? Oh, and did you try a Chai tea yet? :3

I don't know if I said this already, but yes. I think about 1/10 or 1/9 of the Swedish population is immigrants. Not necessarily refugees though. Not sure how many there are from that group of people. I know during the Balkan war that many from old Yugoslavia came here and the society got pretty segregated. You should've come here instead of moving to the US! Haha. No, I think the US is probably better, depends on what life you wanna lead. It's pretty safe living in Sweden. I mean... you're not out of luck if you can't manage to find a job and all that. I'm not at all sure about citizenship actually. Sorry about that. I guess I can look it up for you on Swedish sites if you're really interested. We'll talk about it on MSN!
The weekend has already passed so I guess I gotta ask what you did with those lovely cousins of yours! Did you go to the park? Had nice weather? The weather over here is pretty warm but not really sunny. There are downpours every now and then. I don't care much since I'm staying inside lately. Either working on the computer, watching anime or movies, and talking to friends on the Internet, haha. Yeah I'm taking a summer course so as to finance my apartment and my living basically. It's not a tough course by any means but it's good experience.
