I wrote my master's thesis on contemporary Japanese art in relation to anime and the prominence of the apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic world. I want to very much go on to studying anime/manga and japanese visual culture at PhD level but cannot due to a lack of the appropriate funds.
I spend most of my time watching anime and reading manga and fiction. I don't have many friends who like anime, so I would love to meet some new people who do :]

You miss the days of school work?! I'm not sure if I'm going to feel that way when I'm out of grad school. Some classes I already miss, like photography, but I won't miss taking math classes for sure.
I dont know how to do any of the fancy stuff on my profile either. I have no clue how one would upload a pdf. But if you figure it out, let me know and i'll be sure to check out your thesis.
And its good you havent updated your profile in a year. Its nice to see there are other anime fans that have gone through graduate school!

That definitely is a good idea, since the movies don't necessarily tie in to the series. btw, how is Kai so far? n do u know how many episodes are they doin???
Forget about live actions and NOOOOOOO, don't pour acid on ur eyes!!! And just save ur $11 for this!!!

It's Tia Harribel. A bunch of the Espanda's names are taken from the names of real life famous architects and crafters. Harribel is taken from this guy named: Harry Bell Measures.
