Hey, I'm shiine-chan and welcome to my MAL page. I've been using this same username for as long as I can remember. In case you're wondering (and you probably aren't), it's from the name of my favorite character from the very first anime I've ever watched when I was a kid.
As for my favorite anime, I LOVE Natsume Yuujinchou. It's the reason why 'supernatural' became one of my favorite genres. It's also the reason why I now enjoy watching slow-paced, episodic, and heartwarming anime series such as Kimi to Boku.
And yes, I am a yaoi fan. *insert evil laugh here*
I read A LOT of yaoi manga, yaoi fanfics, and even draw some fanart myself.

GOOD DAY FALC MEMBERS! This may be too late already but let us still greet you a BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR, at least. We're having our very first newsletter to start the New Year. Hoooray~ We tried our best to shorten this as much as possible. And now, first things first:
FILIPINO ANIME LOVERS CLUB (FALC)
FALC, as the name says, is a MAL club for Filipino anime lovers Epure or half Eand for everyone who're interested to know more about the Filipino culture. Visit once in a while and leave a comment here. Who knows, maybe you'll be able to meet someone in your area who're pretty much the same as you Eone who loves anime. No matter how you try to pronounce it, ef just sounds vulgar... XD The girl with the eyepatch has this really annoying voice, but I don't dare skip her stories cause a good drama will try to link up all its components, so I'm worried that if I skip one character's stuff, the others won't make sense. In any case, that show's on hold. I just can't take it.
Clannad... There were good moments, but too much moe character design (which got really disturbing int he second season, cause the girl's supposed to be 20 or so and pregnant, but her character looks 14). And then just when they built things up nicely towards the end, they had to ruin it...
Oh, don't bother with the new shows. I tried watching the first episode of all those that seem at least slightly promising, and all were either crap or completely unmemorable. I guess among the current ones, Chihayafuru is the best already. At least it's got an interesting concept and seems to hold some promise one episode in.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Kinda busy with school work right now. We've got a major exam in two months >.<
Actually there are some other pretty highly acclaimed shows which I started and just can't seem to continue. Stuff like ef tale of memories and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan (latter may be due to the animation...). So odd, that they are so highly rated, yet I just can't sit through them...
From the forums and the manga I saw lying in the bookstore, it seems like the manga follow the girl till she grows up, which has quite a few people annoyed lol. XD
Haha I've had bouts of those periods as well, when I'm just tired of anime. But for me those are usually when I can't get my hands on a good series. XD
