Welp... Finally going to write some stuff... But all I'm going to say is that the manga list here at MyAnimeList.net isn't fully complete and don't really like how it's setup (it's not as smooth as the Anime List part), so I'm going to use the Just Manga Virtual Bookshelf for that, so here's the link: http://www.justmanga.com/vmb/9166.

I see... Lol. Well, I had a 360, but it broke down so that's how I ended up with the Wii.

My current obsession is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm frequently watching videos on YouTube. These are gonna be the longest 2 weeks of my life. XD

This isn't the first time I've been obsessed with something, either. But I'm used to it by now. xD

- I honestly do not know how anyone would like such a godawful series >_>
I'm sure certain Clannad Club members are head over heels about this one...
You know, those people who also want Kazumi (Shakugan no Shana) to die because she's "useless". There are many sick people in this world, they leave me in despair.

I didn't even watch that far. I only read summaries of the last episodes and I didn't miss anything.
School Days made me sick for the same reason as the recent Nagisa-incident. I get carried away by the mood of an Anime and if it makes me feel as bad as School Days did, it's obviously a failure.
I better stop here though. I tend to get carried away on this topic, I even refuse to talk to people who have that Anime in their favorites. >.<

Yeah, I know. I usually ignore those comments but it really was the creator of the club. That was the last drop of ignorance that made my cup of patience overflow (zomg, metaphor!).
That said, I'm not surprised you rated School Days with 2. That's the Anime I had to think about in that club suddenly. Personally, I rated it with 1 and I will never rate anything that low again because that would imply it is as bad as School Days which would be very insulting.
Great minds think alike, I have the feeling you're much like me (not counting my sudden despair-explosions ^^)

Thank you. I'm not really a fan of Nagisa myself but that was just aweful. Those people have a horrible attitude.

I'm surprised that didn't fly. Then again, whitehouse.com was a porn site for the longest time and I'm sure that got tons of traffic from people trying to get to the real White House site at whitehouse.gov
I agree, but some kids just aren't old enough to understand that sort of thing so I can imagine wanting to have some sort of way to keep them away from certain questionable content. I'm talking little kids, mind. Older kids are going to find that sort of thing anyway, so as a parent you might as well just talk to them before they do and explain. Better to be proactive, right? But yeah, there are way too many laws in place and they don't serve much purpose. People just need to do their jobs and actually raise their children rather than just sitting them in front of a screen and leaving them to it.

I didn't have one until I was out from under my parents' thumb, so I didn't have to worry with any of that. Phones are nice to have sometimes, but generally I just hate them - especially as they relate to business. With cell phones and email and such people expect you to be instantly available all the time, which is pretty ridiculous.
I don't think parents should be sending kids with a cell phone because they're worried - I meant more that if I were a parent I'd worry more about what they were getting into on the internet and such. School is plenty supervised, and I don't think I'd even consider getting a child of mine a phone before they started driving by themselves.
And yeah, I agree completely with you - it is a parent's job to teach their children, and far too many people these days are just looking for scapegoats to blame their lack of parenting on rather than stepping up and doing a decent job of it. But I do see how it could be difficult as a parent to be able to monitor what your child gets into on the net and in video games and such when the extent of your tech skills is sending family photos via email. That's no excuse, of course, but it does complicate things.

My first one was a Windows 3.11 system too - got it right before 95 came out. It was supposed to be the family machine, but being the only one in the family who knew how to use it... Heh, I went through a few hard drives, but it lasted quite a while. Finally had to retire it because it wasn't fast enough to play mp3s. Actually, I just replaced my desktop from high school today for similar reasons - it's too slow to play HD video. I'm too lazy to build my own though. It'd take a bit of brushing up since I haven't kept up with which sockets match which processors and what companies make good products and all that jazz.
I never had a pager, but then I never wanted one. Then again, I neer wanted a cell phone either... I only got one of those because it's cheaper and more convenient than a house phone. I never answer it though.
I imagine it's a nightmare to be a parent these days, having no idea what your kids could be getting into with all their high-tech toys. Especially with the internet becoming so much more popular. I'm not sure how I'd handle all that if I had kids. Thankfully I never plan to =P

haha well I usually add one or two points for personal enjoyment and such. I just think that only the series that were REALLY good deserve high scores. And I also tend to be a lot harsher on series that (I think) are overrated. Kinda helps me stand out a bit, I guess. :P
