Hey there. I am Sceptile24 and I have been an anime fan since 2008. I decided to go by sceptile24 because I am huge fan of the Nintendo Pokemon games and Sceptile is my favorite Pokemon. The 2 and the 4 are just random numbers I picked because sceptile and sceptile1 were already taken.
I started watching anime when I was little, but I was unaware of course that it was anime. I would say that about 50% of the total anime I have watched I have done so before I started considering myself an anime fan, including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and GT, Pokemon, Digimon (1 through 4), Beyblade, Yugioh, Captain Tsubasa, Medabots, Saint Seiya, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, Rorouini Kenshi, and some others I don't remember. In fact I would say that I used to watch more anime back then than I do so now. At first In would just watch shounen/action anime but as time went by I started to appreciate most of the genres out there. If I had to pick a favorite genre it would be Romance.
There is one genre (if you can call it that) that I absolutely hate and that is the ECCHI genre. There are a lot of good series out there that are ruined just because they are partially ecchi. I truly don't mind some fan-service now and then (although it is unnecessary), but there are series in which there is fan-service just everywhere, and it is fraking annoying. (BSG anyone?)
About my ratings: I like to rate anime from 1-5 instead of 1-10 because it is easier and more objective. I only give 10 to my all time favorite series so they have a higher overall score.
- 5: Excellent
- 4: Great
- 3: OK
- 2: Bad
- 1: So Horrible it makes me want to rip my eyes out with a fork

Recommendation Club Newsletter~Holiday Edition
As we enter into one of the busiest times of the year, we here at the Recommendation Club would like to extend our wishes for each and every one of you to have a wonderful holiday season!
Since the September newsletter, our club has gained many new members, and seen the return of old ones. We would like to keep the momentum going, and with our member list now at 3,111, that should be no problem at all! ^_^.
We would like all of our members, old and new, to help keep this an active, and fun club, a place to Chat and to seek out recommendations in our General anime and General Manga thread as well as the specific anime genre threads, such as Drama and Romance and Sci-fi and many others as well.
It’s a great place to make new friends, or renew past friendships, and we urge all of our members to drop by, and post in the various threads and comment section, as well as share you expertise with other members.

The Goblet of Fire. Yeah that was good too. But at the begining it was rather boring but then it's become quite interesting ^^ and the movie of it was amazing all those dragons and such *.*

Yeah i read the last book right after it released. It was great. But my favorite one is Half-Blood Prince since it's about Snape and Voldemort's past , Horcruxes and all, you know.
