I can't say I'm all that interesting. I enjoy watching anime, reading manga, and writing fanfiction...as I'm sure you do, too. I found this site after looking for a way to get recommendations on new anime/manga to watch/read, and MAL had the most entries, user reviews, and details.

My avatar is Michiko from the anime Michiko to Hatchin, in case you happened to be wondering. And if I were to cosplay, she would be the only character I could be since I don't look like any other character I've come across...so far ;-)

I read any genre of manga, but I usually prefer josei/seinen or yaoi/yuri only because they're typically more realistic and relatable. But don't get me wrong, I have no problem losing myself in a silly shonen fantasy if the urge arises ^^

As for anime, I usually only watch shows that have manga predecessors; so I can read before I watch. And then the manga would have had to be EXTRAORDINARY (or have new plot points) for me to watch. I don't hate watching anime, but for some reason I just seem to prefer reading manga instead.
