I saw my name in his comment somewhere... what is he saying...? (below mine)

Wow... I would've never expected such an outcome! You actually revised your review to accommodate to my advice! I feel like a successful teacher... It feels nice.

However, also like a teacher, I must grade your revised review as well! Hopefully by saying this, I can get away with saying harsh comments!

No, no. I don't mean it. Please don't kill me.

Anyway, your new review is a vast improvement from your last one. That much I can guarantee.

However.

It still has a few quirks, and one HUGE problem that I can't just let get away from one of my students!

The language in your review is too formal, too ordinary. When writing a review, you must speak professionally, like a lawyer, I suppose. Use big and complicated words and terms, but at the same time use them in a way that people can easily comprehend. Kind of like how I'm speaking right now, but then again I'm giving you advice, so I need to sound serious, don't I?

And the one HUGE thing about your review...

DON'T OPENLY LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT YOU DON'T KNOW THINGS!

As a reviewer, your job is to make sure that people will listen to what you have to say. As is with any position dedicated to influence and command, you need to know what you're talking about... even if you don't know what it is that you're talking about.

Say you were playing a new game that you had no idea how to play. You're with your friend who is watching you play the game by your side. You ask for assistance about how to play the game, so they tell you an effective strategy for beating the game.

After multiple failed attempts, frustrated, you turn to your friend and ask them if they even know how to play the game.

"No, I just winged it." They respond. Would you trust their opinion? I wouldn't, why would you?

The point I'm trying to make is, your credibility is called into question if you acknowledge your lack in ability to understand the subject. Avoid this at all costs. AT ALL COSTS. While adding music and art to the review of an anime may strengthen your argument as a critic, if you have absolutely no words to describe them, just don't use them. People will focus more attention on the rest of the review accordingly.

Now that I'm littered your comment section of your profile with an obscenely long comment, I suppose I'll end the review here. To review a review... it seems a bit strange, doesn't it? Hopefully I see more reviews of yours in the future. If the anime interests me, I'll be sure to read it and give my opinion. Until then.

I have read your review on The World God Only Knows! And I gotta say, you aren't giving me much.

Your review consisted of a lot of definitions, but not a lot of reasons. You explained the plot well, but not why it mattered. Go more in-depth with what you're reviewing! Why is the art style good? What about it did you like? What did you think of the characters' personalities? What about their roles in the story? How was the music? The voice acting? All the little things that people wanna know, you should be able to touch on within a review. Keep this in mind, and your future reviews will become as clean and crisp as the ones in da papahs!

By the way, one small thing as well... Judging by your profile picture and the incredibly high rating you gave TWGoK, some people may assume things and see your review as too biased. Just a quick head's up.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
