About redrun
I've been watching anime and maybe a fan long before I knew they were produced from Japan since the 1980's as a child. Having fond memories of waking up at 6AM and sometimes as early as 5AM just to watch an episode Voltron, Star Blazer (Uchuu Senkan Yamato), Robotech (Macross, Southern Cross & Genesis) or Tranzor Z (Mazinger Z) just to have my mind blown right before breakfast. Routinely, I would wake up an hour or two earlier than I need to just to be ready for school. At the time, the rewards were worth the trouble. Then when I was to return from school, the lineup of crappy but awesome 80's cartoons would then air. Still unaware those weird and very early morning cartoons were dubbed over in English and from Japan while aired a local TV station I often watched. (What's the deal with all this kanji in the show?)

What had never occurred to me at that moment is that I'll be watching a good fill in the future. Fast forward to the late 80's, I saw for the first time a movie called "Akira". That particular animated movie was such an event for me, it opened up a new genre of media for of which I was to consume.

Hey no problem! Yotsuba&!'s a really great manga, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I love the slice of life type mangas - they're really fun to read.
