I started Getting into anime in '10. Music is my forte though.
I don't really watch anime much these days but i do enjoy it when I'm in the mood.
i am into Anime/Manga that is either dark, meaningful, emotional or smart.

Yeah, I've heard amazing things about Afro Samurai. Have you seen Honey and Clover?
Well since I live in Arizona I mostly film birds. I have my on kinda bird sanctuary in my backyard haha. But every now and then I get a coyote or a house cat.
The script I'm working on right now is called "Neighborhood Streetlights" it's all about racial tension in a small cul-de-sac were someone is stealing bicycles out of peoples garages.

Alright Michael. The directing thing is going pretty good, working on some scripts right now. In terms on the camera, I've been filming wild life.
How was Excel Saga and Afro Samurai? I've been wanting to see those two.

All kinds dude, I actually want to take the knowledge of story telling from anime and incorporate it into American films. But the genres I really want to dive into are Noir, psychological horror and dramas.

Right now I'm jamming a super nintendo and a n64 in my room, so i'm living the gaming life man lol. I love movies, I want to get into the business, I'm actually going to Comic-con to hopefully film there. And schools been good, ready for summer though.

When They Cry is really the only messed up anime I can think of. But don't be thrown off by the first episode. It gets really insane as you go on.

Awesome to hear about the manga! cant wait to hear more about it. I've been good, real busy with school. Need to catch up/watch some anime I've been wanting to see for awhile.
As for some anime to fuck up yo mind, WHEN THEY CRY!!!!!!! its a horror anime and I love it. The story will mess with you, and its really violent. Seems right up your ally man.

Sounds like you've been busy haha nice man. I love me some Mushishi, and I hope you enjoy Cowboy Bebop, it is a masterpiece (at least I think so) I have been wanting to check out Clanned I've just been so busy with other stuff. I need to catch up with Bleach. Have you seen Suzuke? that's a great Slice-of-Life high school anime thats worth checking out.
