Yo. I used to watch a lot more anime than I do now, but I'm still in the scene, so to speak. I just recently got back into watching anime with Mahou Shoujo Magica Madoka, and I think tragic/psychological thriller is now one of my favourite genres. Also, I'm currently obsessed with Kuroshitsuji. SO MUCH FANSERVICE. I don't really like shojo manga/anime. Apart from shouen-ai series (like Loveless and Junjou Romantica) I mostly watch/read shounen series (FMA, Inuyasha, Gundam Seed).
My favourite anime, which will ALWAYS be my favourite, is Inuyasha. It was my first real anime (as opposed to Sailor Moon and Pokemon... I didn't really realize they were animes when I was watching them at a young age) and thus I shall always love it :) It's also the series which catalyzed my love of drawing and art.
I've been to Anime North 6 times, Fan Expo once, and my local con AC3/Naru2u three times. This year at Naru2u will be my second in the artist alley. Most of my prints are from old animes, which is why I think they didn't sell well.. so now I'm back into the scene and hopefully I can make prints that actually sell! Apart from watching anime and drawing it, I'm very environmentally conscious and non-materialistic. I love taking photos of birds and wildlife, I love camping and being outside, and I love learning about most things.
