Meh I'd rather take the unluck now as long as I get at least normal luck for the actual servant summons. I already have decent enough craft essences for any servant.
The best duo servant so far has been Okita Saber Alter with that little chibi Rengoku. It's because Okita alter is clearly the main servant and Rengoku acts more like a mascot. She's also not annoying and would probably give us space to bond and such. And when all 3 of us are together it feels like a little family.
The whole point of pseudo servants is so you can own characters like Rin who are humans in the main story. I don't mind it. Actually isn't Kama technically a pseudo servant of Sakura or something. If that's the case I'm obviously gonna be for them.

My main complaint about Singularity 4 wasn't the writing. It was the fact that we're in LONDON and JACK THE FUCKING RIPPER is a side character miniboss. The main story definitely should have revolved around her whether she's the main enemy, or hangs out with us for some period but we find out she's insane. Just something.
Jeanne carried France on her back so it was decent. Okeanos had some fun parts. I at least like Euryale and Medea Lily.

Sparkle is the shitty localized version of her Japanese name Hanabi. I don't know why they didn't just leave it as is. It would have been fine in English. It's like we're back in 1998 where 4Kids is making sure no children accidentally discover that countries outside America exist.
But yea I started playing the game now so I could reroll for her. She is definitely beautiful and should have a fun personality from what I've seen. Unfortunately she's a full support so kinda useless until I get a decent damaged dealer. Thankfully both Silver Wolf and Clara are exactly that so I'll be fine.
Btw Clara reminds me of Illya especially with that robot protector she has similar to Illya's Heracles. Personalities are completely different though.

There's clearly having problems balancing between creating high difficulty content for whales and just implementing stupid gimmicks that make the battle not fun for anyone.
I probably did over 100 farming quests and didn't drop a single one of that craft essence. It's so fucking stupid how they let you buy 4 in the shop but you have to rely on rng for the 5th one. I have all of the NP ups but am missing around 200 of those red Con for the last ascension material. So probably gonna be done with the event soon.
Trung sisters are fine and have some feelz appeal but I'm not a fan of this 2 characters in 1 servant thing. Makes it near impossible to bond with each of them individually. I'd be way more interested in rolling for Mary if she was her own servant.
I think the refund quests are just for the story and you get an apple for first clear. If it was a saint quartz it might be worth it but I probably won't bother.

Yea Babylonia is the best singularity for sure. Honestly most of the original singularities were kinda meh imo. Like Jack the Ripper's involvement in London was so disappointing. Rome and America were so pointless I barely remember anything from them. I guess France, Okeanos and Camelot were decent.
I wish they made a Fate/Prototype anime or something so we can get Serenity's main story. I did read her wiki but her story involvement in FGO has been very low. I wouldn't mind a 4-5 star alt outfit for her either. Apparently there's a Nitorcris alter in JP and she looks cool af. Definitely something I'd consider rolling for down the line.

Haven't been making much Bleach progress now that Soul society arc is over and the fillers have started. Currently on 68 but I have been busy doing other stuff like installing Nikke just to play the Re:Zero collab and to reroll for Rem. Already deleted it since I don't think the game is very good even if there are some decent girls in it.

So far I only have Sparkle (a shitty name localization of Hanabi) who I rerolled for. Clara's guaranteed eventually from the free pulls. Currently saving for the other 2.

A lot of those challenge quests have stupid gimmicks and are not fun at all. Best to just look up a guide and see if you can form a recommended servant combo to clear them. Even then I gave up on some of the harder ones. Even for a summon ticket there's a limit to how much of my time/patience it's worth. So how are you liking the new event? I'm obviously skipping the banner's but the story is fun enough I guess. Morgan is my last obstacle before before reaching Castoria but I will persevere!

I was in the same boat where I only saw First order years ago and ignored the other FGO anime although I always planned to watch them eventually. I remember there was so much hype over Babylonia at the time. I think not wanting spoilers in case I played the game was one reason I didn't watch it.
Yea Eresh got her screentime and waifu/feelz moments as well. They did a good job showcasing all the different characters. I expected Ishtar and Gil to hog all the screentime because they're the most popular but that wasn't the case.
The second Camelot movie had some cool actions scenes like the one you're talking about but the rest of the movies was a total mess. At least they animated Serenity falling over and accidentally kissing the protagonist. Also there was an original Mash+Nitocris bathing scene.

I'll definitely put trying out the Final Fantasy series on my to do list. Doubt it will be any time soon but I'll try and do it eventually. At the very least that VII remake I guess.

lol you think I got through Frieren quickly but since then I watched all of FGO anime, Solo leveling and am 64 episodes into rewatching Bleach. I guess I'm in an anime watching mood right now. And when I'm not in the mood I sometimes won't watch anything for months.
My expectations for Fieren were it was either gonna be amazing or overrated but still good enough for at least an 8 or something. And it ended up being somewhere in the middle of those 2. I have been doing some introspection and having a few discussions about Frieren and I think it probably is a bit than I initially gave it credit for. We can talk about it again after you watch it.

Did you think it was 330 quartz instead of pulls? I did some of the free interludes that gave quartz so including Skadi. She's definitely cute and has some feelz appeal but in a game like this I have to heavily prioritize. I got 30 free quartz from Sitonai reaching affection 12 and the game just gave us a bunch so I should definitely be good for Castoria/Yang. Of course I'm hoping I won't have to spend all of it but I always like to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
I actually calmed down and managed to clear a couple of those challenge quests since my last message. I missed maybe 5 total. Like the one where you have to level Elly which could have been a really fun concept if they didn't make it so hard/unplayable. But yea I managed to cheese through a fair bit by using my friend's NP5 Morgan with 200% damage boost craft essence.

I finally decided to watch the FGO animes too. Already finished First Order, the Camelot movies and Babylonia. So really only Solomon left. Camelot felt like a rushed mess but at least Serenity and Nitocris had some cute scenes. Babylonia was a way better adaptation. They actually remembered to give all the different girls their waifu moments. Ana/Medusa got good screentime, Ishtar was hot af, Ushiwaka had some great scenes. Last few episodes were a bit ehh with the CGI Tiamat but overall I enjoyed it. I can see why even so many non FGO players liked this season.

So do the Final Fantasy games have continuity or could I just play this VII remake with no context and be fine? Looks like it's available on PC so I could definitely see myself trying it. What other FF games have you played btw?

Finished Frieren as well and it was definitely good (I gave it a 9/10) but unfortunately I did not get "Best anime ever by a wide margin" vibes from it. I'm still trying to figure out why it has THIS level of popularity to be the number one rated anime by .30 points and then the next 10 are all within .01 of each other. And that's with almost 300K people rating it. This isn't some fringe Gintama season where only 20K people are even that far in watching and they all rate it a 10/10.
But yea I'd still recommend the show of course. Would be curious to see what you think of it and if you notice something I missed that makes it so great. Btw this score and margin are unprecedented in MAL history. At most something like a new AoT season will get .10 points ahead and quickly drop as more people watch/score it.

I think they made the Priconne anime have more of a Konosube vibe on purpose because Konosuba was so popular. The original gacha game was way more focused on the main story and spending quality time with individual girls. The anime is more focused on the main group of friends going on goofy adventures. Still haven't seen season 2 though.

Wait you still have 900 quartz just sitting around? I thought you tried rolling for something a bit ago and were all out. I'm actually missing around 300 to guarantee both and the banners are in 2 months so might have to do some interlude and rank up quest farming for low rarity servants that I don't care about. Yup the Anastasia interludes were good. She's the one I was feelz obsessed over until Lostbelt 6 pretty much. I read what currently exists of Type Redline and it was pretty good but it's still publishing and I don't know if we're even halfway through the story yet. It was enough for me to add Okita to my favorites though. I'll probably add Castoria too after I pull her. At this rate my favorites list is gonna become an FGO tier list XD

So what is Final Fantasy VII actually? It clearly refers to more than just the 7th game in the franchise if they're making new games for it and such. Is it just the original game and then remakes?
Well as long as you're enjoying the game it doesn't really matter what the consensus says. Like I think Bioshock 2 also had some negative reactions but I enjoyed it about as much as the first game and thought the gameplay was even better.

Sousou no Frieren is about to finish airing so that's probably the next thing I'm gonna watch. Pretty hyped considering all the great reviews and recommendations I've gotten about it. Other than that I think this might be a good time to get back in to Princess Connect and finally watch the 2nd season.
Don't remember if we've talked about it but it's a Gacha game I used to play until the Global version got shut down. And since then I've been planning to watch the translated JP story on YouTube. I've been missing it recently so might be time to finally do that.

I'm pretty sure we talked exactly about Shuten being on the same banner that Yang's gonna be on that's at the same time as Castoria's banner. They are doing the Lostbelt revisits but they're extremely slow with it so Lostbelt 3 isn't coming for another 3 months. Castoria/Shuten are in 2 months. Up to you what you wanna do with that. In my case I should have enough for guaranteed both Castoria and Yang but I'm prioritizing Castoria for sure. Looking back at Lostbelt 6 I think she might even be my all time favorite at this point. Well I've submitted character entries to MAL before and had to wait over a year for them to be approved so I guess you know 2 people now. I mean yea Kuro 2 was the worst game but the first 3rd or so was still good. And that's all I really needed to decide Shizuna was my new favorite (or at least top 2). She just needed to show up in a new outfit and be friendly with us for a while. And the one cool cutscene that I showed you. Regardless the game was largely filler so it's not like I'm super concerned that the next one will also be bad. Could be the best game in the franchise for all I know.

I haven't played or seen any Final Fantasy thing ever but I have seen that Tifa Lockhart girl all over the place and she is definitely hot. Wouldn't even know where to start with the franchise. Same thing with Zelda so I played the very first Zelda game which wasn't very fun and the chronology was so confusing that I didn't play any of the other games. I guess it's pretty hard to get into this stuff if you haven't already played 10 of the games as a kid.

I'm sure people translate clips and such but I barely even keep up with English Vtubers. My exposure to Japanese ones is mostly just through fanart. I know the other 2 but haven't watched any of their content. I know Ina's been doing some FGO streams so I'm mildly interested in giving those a watch. Her model reminds me of Yang Guifei too.

I think they didn't give the NPs out exactly because they were about to put the event and NPs in the rare prism store. For other events like Summer I still have like 5 extra Yu Mei-ren copies so it's not like they're opposed to giving them out during reruns.
Oh wow I just looked up a clip to see if it's possible to do 2 million damage turn 1 and these people are insane. I saw one with Arjuna alter and 2 Merlins+another support with the switch spell. Maybe you could do it with 1 support Merlin and your Koyanskaya? Not sure if Kama could physically do it. If yes her NP would have to do basically all the damage.

I'm from Serbia and Nikola Tesla is like our most famous scientist that we're super proud of and have him on currency, airport/schools named after him etc. So I obviously know who he is and am interested because of that but honestly don't really care for the FGO version. But hey it's nice that you got your god luck back.

I just realized that boss is probably there to reference the year of the dragon. Genshin released a new character with the same theme specifically for the lunar/Chinese new year so that's probably the connection.

Not sure how MAL is categorizing this stuff but they probably consider it an early screening rather than a real "movie" that deserves its own entry. I know they're often inconsistent on stuff like that though.
Yup Shizuna definitely won me over soon as they gave her a little more screentime. Even if most of it wasn't too substantive. I actually didn't have the void at all probably because the last game was kinda bad (especially the 2nd half) and I just wanted to get it over with. Whole thing felt very fillery and now we have to play the next game to get to the actual main plot. Probably the worst game out of the 12 from the franchise so far. But I'm sure the fact that there's more games upcoming plays a part as well. Like it's not over for there to be a void, I'm just waiting for the next game.

They actually didn't even give BB's NP ups on the rerun so I still have her at NP1. Really stingy with those but I guess they need something for you to spend rare prisms on.
Yea a giantess waifu is pretty interesting and unique at least in mainstream games/anime. I know she's from some other game so I guess you could see more of her there. No idea whether she has any type of route there or if you just kill her again in the story and it remains wholly unsatisfying. For the FGO battle, you need to last her out for 20 turns and then smash her in 1 turn probably with NP+crits. She's very vulnerable to stuff like charms and stuns and then you need invincible for her aoe NP. I guess a Berserker can hit her super effectively too. Good luck if you try it again. You get a grail for beating her.

Oh interesting. I think Sekiro will probably be my first "souls-like" game if/when I do get into the genre. And then Elden ring eventually. Checked out the trailer just out of curiosity. Not that any of it means much to me but that dragon (costume) thing at 1:22 looks cool af. I'm sure it will be a fun boss.

Ahh I heard they were pre airing some new Demon Slayer episodes but unfortunately my country doesn't get any of that cool anime stuff. I'll have to just wait and watch it when it airs.

That's about as serious as we've seen her so far although it was still a "for fun" fight on her end. With this I'm finally caught up with the franchise and now can wait for the next game with the other Kiseki fans.

Yea I thought it would be weird for all the servant scenes I played last year to say "already acquired" if some of them had been changed. I guess they're too busy with adding new servant scenes. Btw the Da Vinci ones were adorable. Literally the first time we get to spend some time with her alone and not just talk about the current mission. I got 2 of them for the rider and ruler versions.

You say that but more often than not rolling randomly seems to work out for you. I think Kingprotea is the first servant I actually pulled legit. There was no pity system back then and she dropped as I was almost out of quartz so I was happy about. I actually might have even dropped the game if I didn't get her back then. Although in retrospect dropping her barely gets you anything since she doesn't even have an interlude. Just some voice lines and I guess the valentines scene.
Btw they finally gave the Seraph event for free and when I unlocked it everything was already cleared because I cleared it during the regular event. Only had some random missions and the 10 floor dungeon thing with Kingprotea at the bottom. Did you manage to beat her? Thankfully Kama is literally a single target Alter ego killer but it still cost me a saint quartz revive.

I don't really rate games and don't have as big a pool to compare to but probably around 7/10. I'd definitely recommend playing other Fire Emblem games before it and then you can play Engage if you become a fan of the franchise. I started with Awakening and still think it's a pretty good introduction to the FE series.
I never played Dark Souls but I'd consider trying it at some point. Have you ever played that Sekiro game? I heard it's a Dark souls type game but I'd probably be more interested in it. Obviously I heard all the hype about Elden ring.

Don't know if this Bazett is meant to be the Hollow/Ataraxia one or is she from that Fate/Colosseum thing like Caren is for some reason. I have no idea why they decided to base her off some fringe spin off game instead of the main series.
I've seen no indication that any servants got updated valentine's scenes unless we're talking about different versions like swimsuit variants. Which servant's scene do you think got changed? It would be great for old servants like Jack who only got like 2 lines of dialogue while the new ones have 10-15 minutes stories. I finished the event and watched all the new scenes then watched Castoria and Yang on YouTube. Looks like she's definitely not the Castoria we knew which fucking sucks but I do still want her. Good news is Yang is definitely in love with the protagonist though.

Zero clue how Senjougahara has 50 million favorites. Just people with garbage taste I guess. I don't even think she's that attractive looks wise. Maybe that's why I can see through her ugly personality much easier. With a different character like Zero Two I have no issue admitting she's hot af even if I hate her character.

Veyle is sorta the main girl of this game story wise and she completely stole the show during the latter half. I'd say she's my favorite at this point although she's the protag's sister so you can't really romance her even in JP version. I'd probably just marry Celine at that point. But yea they're both still really nice girls. Fuck the censors.
I'm done with that game now. Probably gonna play Kuro 2 next which would finally catch me up with the Kiseki franchise. Didn't wanna jump straight into it after the first game but it's been long enough.

Dantes event is pretty much just 7 boss fights with some dialogue in between. I expected this to be a rerun of last year's Valentines event but looks like it's a whole new one which is nice. Hopefully I can still get my missed scenes for servants I didn't have last year like Okita. I doubt they did a whole new cycle of scenes although that would be great. Unfortunately don't have Castoria or Yang in time for this so might just watch their scenes on YouTube.
Not even surprised by your luck anymore. It's just expected. I got my C6 Nahida in Genshin though with moderate luck so I'm not complaining for a while. Only servants I'm interested in from the Valentine's banners are Ex and maybe Jeanne but those are super luxury so I'm gonna be skipping.

Either that or people are interested in the cute (unique) monster girl designs and ecchi but tolerate the harem/comedy shit. I'm pretty sure it's the first high production value monster girl manga ever. Not counting one shot hentai stuff. Being the first in the niche probably played a big part in its popularity. Ideally what I'd want out of a monster girl manga/anime is an episode/chapter focusing on 1 monster girl and exploring her unique characteristics. Preferably with romance, possibly H. Why this doesn't exist I have no idea.

Idk did you watch the first 2 episodes of Bakemonogatari? That should be enough to explain why I absolutely hate that bitch although she does do even worse stuff in Nise and 2nd season. She's a verbally and physically abusive cunt and then randomly decided she was Araragi's girlfriend thereby ruining the entire rest of the series since now he has to reject all the other better girls. At least Asuna is a good waifu and actually showed up first. Senjou wasn't even first. She came after both Hanekawa and Shinobu timeline wise. Obviously after the sisters and child Nadeko too.
Good news is the arcs are pretty self contained so Senjou's not in all of them. So I still recommend watching at least Bake, Nise, Kizu and 2nd season. After that the series goes downhill. Nadeko is a treasure. Still one of my all time favorite characters. And not just because she's cute and voiced by Kana Hanazawa. The show actually has incredible writing when it wants to but I won't spoil it. When you hear her 2nd OP though you'll know you're at the good part.

I think I legit have to just learn Japanese at this point. Anything that even touches a western company in current year is more likely compromised than not. We wouldn't even know this if Japanese speaking fans didn't compare the 2 versions. They will hide/deny the censorship and only when you fully expose them will they say they made the game "better". I have been enjoying Engage so far but it's probably the weakest FE game I've played. It does still have cute girls though. That short haired girl from Zom 100 looks nice. Reminds me of Ichigo from Darling in the FranXX. Zombie apocalypse show? I also finished Nagatoro anime btw. It was okay but better girls did show up like I was afraid they might. Club president is a cool emotionless girl (exactly my type) and the 4th friend is super cute so I kept wanting her to get more screentime. And the ending was pretty inconclusive.

Dantes event is around 1-2 hours depending on how fast you read/kill things. Finished Altera event too but couldn't get through it without skipping everything. I did read the first gate with Medusa though.

I'm skimming through some Monmusu chapters and I think you're straight up misremembering things or are talking about something after chapter 20. Look at chapter 6 for example. All the girls together, Miia comes in for 3 pages, Papi runs into the room, is on screen for 2 pages, then Centaur comes in and is on screen for 2 pages then all together fighting. Basically every chapter is like this except for like 1 where it's just Miia. Even when the mermaid gets introduced all the girls are there and then they're just arguing or something. He's never alone with anyone for more than a few pages. I'm sure I heard the songs while watching the show. Btw Doppel girl from M.O.N. is hot af.

Clearly they had some changes in direction between first deciding to make the VE anime series and actually finishing it. There was also the Kyoani fire but that was between Eternity (already made) and the final movie so that shouldn't have impacted it. I guess they made some changes from the LN but based on what I read it should be more or less the same ending. There's a bit more in the novel about what happened afterwards too.

Another thing I preferred in the Elfen Lied anime was the song Lillium. Characters humming that was infinitely more impactful when you can actually hear the song. Pretty sure Bando got killed like 3 times but he thinks he's in dragon ball or something. The secret agent guy was also just wtf in the manga. Hated Lucy killing his daughter too. Oh and the fucking ending where protag ends up with his cousin. Absolute garbage. Same with the protag not forgiving Lucy. The anime was just straight up better.

I have a love-hate relationship with Monogatari where I love the show but absolutely despise Senjougahara so really I just end up enjoying certain arcs that she's not in. Thankfully there are quite a few of those. Nadeko is best girl and was on my favorites list for years. Also like Shinobu and honestly most of the other girls. Really it's just Senjougahara that ruins it.

Right now I'm playing Fire Emblem Engage which is the worst censor job I've seen done to any Japanese media including 4Kids' invisible guns and jelly donuts. They censored out half of the romance options, for every girl that was "underage" including the 17 year old main princess and instead rewrote all the lines so they keep telling us how great friends we are. It's actually so meme worthy when at the end there's a CG of them smiling wearing the ring you gave them and saying how you're gonna be the best of friends now. This goes beyond losing their jobs. These "localizers" literally deserve to be in prison for this. Or at least to get sued into bankruptcy.
Thankfully there is an uncensor patch that fixes at least some of the worst changes which is the only reason I'm even playing this.

I found out Gray was welfare when I was looking for her next banner and there wasn't one. Then it was just waiting for them to rerun the event. Hopefully they'll also rerun the old Gugaguda events so I can get Nobu and Nagao. Even Chloe from the Illya event because she is cute. Still haven't watched the El-Melloi series but they definitely gave enough teasers for me to be interested.
I was also thinking about buying the Edmond event and then the next day it's free in the shop. I think they might refund the rare quartz though because they did it for a Mash swimsuit I bought a while ago. If not then some people got mega screwed. Already played through that event yesterday and got my 10 summon tickets. It was okay.

I think the MonMusu anime basically adapts the manga 1:1 at least from what little I saw. The first episode was fully focused on Miia which was great. Then Papi shows up for like 2 minutes alone, then argues with Miia and ecchi harem shenanigans ensue. Then the next girl shows up alone for 2 minutes, joins the harem and argues with the other girls while ecchi harem shenanigans ensue. Then the next next girl shows up...etc.
Stupid thing is there were plenty of episodes for each girl to get one to herself and then the remaining 5-6 could be used on harem. Instead they're all crowding all the time and so nobody gets anything good. Suu got a few cute moments and that's about it. Papi got nothing from what I remember. Maybe the manga gets better eventually but I doubt it.

Was really hoping the trend would catch on after MonMusu anime introduced people to the concept but doesn't look like it really happened.

I heard there's some Tatsumaki romance in the OPM manga so that's something to look forward to. She's the main reason I watched the show and her screentime so far has been abysmal. It was still a very fun show though.

Might be my bias talking but I think even the visuals for that Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll thing were lackluster at best. Especially Violet looks kinda bad. Not 100% sure compared to the series but ABSOLUTELY worse than the final VE Movie visuals since KyoAni always takes the gloves off for those. That's why I consider the Eternity thing more of an OVA but we can talk more about this after you watch it.
The LN chapter that first half of Eternity adapts obviously takes place before the series' ending but then (fuck it I'll just tell you) there's an anime original 4 year time skip which is what conflicts with the stories true ending. I genuinely have no idea what they were thinking with this. Did none of them read the Light novel before writing this? With that info you can watch whichever one you want first. Although my advice is to end it on a high note and watch the movie last.

When the VE anime was first airing they were releasing promo art and stuff including that anime visual of Lux so obviously we all though her arc was gonna be adapted.
Even MAL listed her as a character in the anime. But then episode after episode and the show was just over. So maybe they'll release it as an OVA or movie? Nope we get Eternity instead. And since I was waiting for it all along, you can guess I was more than a little pissed off. But it is what it is. I'm still very happy with the final movie.

Elfen Lied was on of the classics I watched when I first got into anime so yes I've seen it multiple times. Then a few years ago I read the manga as well in one of those "I wanna see what happens next" scenarios. It had some good parts but I fucking hated the manga ending. The open anime ending was legit better. Lucy survives the battle and comes back with a broken horn then you can speculate what happens next. My favorite part of the entire series is child Lucy's backstory.

It might have been better if they did treat the father never helping as a self aware joke but they play it completely seriously. The characters are definitely the selling point of this franchise. They used to do 2D slideshow or anime openings but since their game engine got good they've been doing these 3D cinematic openings instead which are way better I think. Not sure if we talked about it before but Monogatari series got a new season announced which was pretty unexpected. I see Nadeko nice and big on the cover there so I am definitely interested.

I played Seraph event but way before pseudo singularities so I must have just not taken note. Don't have santa Altera event unlocked but I guess it's something if I need extra quartz. Currently playing through the El Melloi event so I'm finally gonna get Gray. She was one of the servants I had my eye on when I started playing but didn't know she was welfare. I should probably take the opportunity to watch her anime as well.

I love monster girls so was super hyped for that one but was pretty disappointed unfort. I wish the protag got to spend more time with each girl alone instead of the harem with constant bickering, (bad) jokes and nothing ever happening. Don't know if the manga is any better. Suu and Miia were my favorites.

Oh nice you finally finished it! I loved Dietfried's change of perspective on Violet by the end of the series. It has even more payoff in the movie but I won't spoil it. Gunslinger Girl is a girls with guns show and yea all the girls have depressing backstories and the overall setting is really dark. The girls were basically given superpowers by the government to save their lives but their heads were also fucked with so they would be able to kill people and obey their handler. Lots of very interesting relationships and characters' outlooks on the world. First season was great, second one had a really drastic artstyle change but it was still okay. I'm sure the manga would be worth reading.

Funny you say that because Sora (First 3 games) had the main girl's father be one of those OP characters and they kept coming up with dumber and dumber excuses for why he never helps us with anything. In Shizuna's case it's moreso that this game was just her introduction and she'll have more story relevancy later. We still have no idea about her backstory or what her group is fighting for. You have to understand that Kuro alone is gonna be a 3-4 game long story arc. And again she's not necessarily our ally. She just helped us out a bit for fun/convenience and never fought seriously.

Still have a bunch of interludes I haven't played yet since there was always an event or main story to play instead. I'll probably clear them at all some point even just for the quartz although a lot of them want me to ascend random servants too. Yea it's Habbycat without it being Habbycat. Just like it's Castoria without it being Castoria etc. Again don't know why they do this. The only servants that are the actual servant are ones like Okita that for some reason just join you after their event. I guess probably Da Vinci too.

Oh actually while I was playing the Pseudo singularities I noticed that the 3rd one didn't have a demon god pillar even though they told us there were 4 of them left. So maybe there's still a demon god pillar left and the current Roman running around is somehow related to it.

The game definitely told me during the character selection screen that Taigong would do something special if I used him but I went with Ibuki for the damage instead. I cleared each Koyanskaya raid once but the rewards didn't seem good enough to farm for compared to the effort required especially on hardest difficulty. I guess bond maybe but I can farm QP easily and what I really need are those yellow class gems but they weren't dropping consistently either.
Yea there were raids for Ivan and the other bosses but only up 800K clears or something small like that so the other players cleared them in 1-2 hours from launch and we never even got to see them. Then Koyanskaya had 20 million clears so she was around for longer.

What other manga are you reading? I usually only read completed ones that have anime I like so I can see the ending. Like Rozen Maiden or Deadman Wonderland. I do wanna read Gunslinger girl at some point as well.
So the game has 4 chapters, interlude, 5th and 6th chapter. Shizuna shows up during the interlude and then is kinda around till the end. She's sorta like a neutral 3rd party not allied with us or the main enemy we're fighting but you can team up with her for a bit during chapter 5. I cleared that yesterday and am probably gonna finish the game today. But yea her introduction was insane. We randomly bump into her and she challenges us to 7v1 her just for fun. Wipes the floor with us but then reveals she also has an OP powerup skill she wasn't even using. Her personality so far is mostly cheerful and she likes fighting strong/interesting opponents. Easily my favorite new character from this game. For overall I'd have to see a bit more but her potential is off the charts.
