I clicked on the quote retweets of that glitchcity post just hoping someone would call out the absurdity of recommending FE to people who think forced exp shares in pokemon games is just it 'getting with the time' and there you were. Funnily enough, fire emblem (at least the linear ones) is all about the short term/long term management of your resources, exp being one of the major ones. The ability to distribute and strategically manage exp is something that was always present in the older pokemon games, and that's just simply fun for people to do. it really has nothing to do with difficulty. People will tell you that you can beat fire emblem games with no exp (or 0% growths) and they're technically right with most the games in the franchise, but the process of thinking long term with exp distribution is one of the reasons i think i love the series so much. so i feel bad for the pokemon fans in that regard who lost that aspect of the game, just to have it handwaved as some outdated mechanic.

Wow I find it so ironic that you gave 1 to Kaijitsu and 10 to Meikyu, well I'm not here for judging you just want to have a convo about this series, I also played the Visual Novel as well Original route and Yumiko's route.

I see that you like Shuuen no Shiori so I was wondering if you are interested in joining the Unknow Occult club
http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=64671
It is basically a club where you talk about urban legends and things to do with Shuuen no Shiori!
I would really like more members so it is more fun and we can actually talk about things!
If you have any friends who also like Shuuen no Shiori, they are welcome to join as well!

I understand what you mean, but there's always some visual novels with troll choices that lead you to bad ends for stupid things. Having lots of choices sometimes leaves me worried, so I just save/load and try them all. Well, unless I'm certain it leads to a bad end. I'd rather imprint something good in my mind and pretend those never happened. I guess I lack a bit of "VN maturity" since it's even hard for me to read a second route and keep the same level of interest.

Despite all of that, it makes me think that even IRL the tiniest decisions might change my fate drastically. I've even faced bad ends and skipped lots of routes, so it's basically the same. Now wheres the save/load button?

What's up with Amane's bad ending? Does it tell stuff about Kazuki or something like that? [/i]I-It's not like I'm worried that you're trying to bait me to read something as cruel and inhuman as Amane's bad ending or anything[/i]

I too don't read doujin exactly because of that, but I've got some research experience. Can't say it's bad until you try it right? It was bad. I'm glad you just want her to die instead of being sexually abused.

>getting bad end on the first playthrough
I got the bad end in Kyou's route like 5 times in Clannad. After that I just gave up and started using walkthroughs all the time. I didn't even read Amane's bad end, but people seem to enjoy shoving it in my face. Even the mangaka who adapted the VN.

You will be happy soon enough when Grisaia starts getting all those fucked up doujin drawn. And guess who's going to be the main victim of their lustful minds? Yes, you guessed it right. Tentacles are just the beginning of it.

That manga adaptation is way too rushed though. It gets into Amane's route in chapter 3 and Angelic Howl in chapter 5, so we'll only have to wait a few months before Sachi's route gets covered, depending on the order they picked. I don't think they're adapting the bad ends (hopefully not), since that scene was just shown in the prologue chapter.
