As a fan of the Lucky Star series, the oav was a dissapointment.
i was hoping for a progression after the graduation, either the summer before university/ great konata- adventure of somesort or even the advent of a boyfriend for Kagamin :p [ooooooh]
All the oav seemed like xtra less-funny-crap-scenes they couldnt fit into
the series anywhere...so lets make an oav to waste the fans time X__x
There are a few funny moments and classic lucky star humor; im sure everyone is curious as to why Kagamin is "cosplaying"as Hatsune Miku. Its sad, but the oav was pretty short
and lacked the charm of the series. You bored on a Sat afternoon? Nothing
on? No worth while anime to watch or stuff to do? Go to a streaming site see it and be one iota less bored than u were 45min ago.
In the end, makers of Lucky star oav couldve actually tried and not have given us stale leftovers that left me with the feeling of..meh.

I have been meaning to write review for this,but im not sure if its needed :p
but here it goes. This review doesnt have any manga prespective as i have not yet read it.
To start this story has a great concept and spin on the age old story of vampires. It is intresting that the creators came up w/ 3 diff levels of vampires which bascially break down into Noble vampire::Reg. vampires::Level E vampires. Essentially takes many diff historical types
of vamps and gives them a backstory in why they are that way. The Main story takes place at a school w/ a day class[humans] night class[vamps] but
day class doesnt know that the night class is in fact vampires. The "perfects" and main characters yuuki and Zero protect that secrect. Although its difficult when all the vamps are hotties and all the girls in the school are constantly after them ;which helps for some comedic breaks. The school is used as a way to show the world that vamps and humans can coexsist as long as vampire take these fake blood tablets to substitue real blood..this is where my negetives come in.
Negitives are this. While its a nice concept of tablets are nice.. it is evident its not feasable vamp wise. heres an analogy: lets say someone tells
you --i want you to agree to take these food pills/appitite supressients instead of eating food for good of coexisting w/ the world. Oh see that table
full of hamburgers.. you're not allowed to eat them! Thats a no no!--
Eventually we're all going for those burgers! xD That part of the story was kinda just didnt work for me..i mean they dont have a blood bank ..a donation center something! :p Some situations were also very conveinant but
meh..i can deal with that
Art was great. loved the style and character designs. Comic relief scenes were just that and cute. but the genral dark mood was great.
Many bishonen and bishoujo so im sure many ..including myself are happy
w/ that. i know there some dispute of manga vs anime style but i think they
looks great. i like the way the eyes are drawn.
Music matches the mood nicelyduring eps. i cant say i liked the intro too much,but the ending theme Still Doll is one of my fav songs now ^.^
Characters are well developed and still mysterious which i love.
things are explained but all when it is apporiate. sometimes it can be a bit predictable [except for kaname] The only charac. that loses cool points with me the main girl of our story, yuuki. at first i thought shes pretty intresting,but they turned her into typical stupid anime girl who makes the worst desions..or make silly assumptions xP. very frustrating. i cant im rooting for zeroxyuuki be/c yuuki is well lame. but im rooting for Zero in a way.
Overall this is a great watch and i cant wait the next season. sometimes
it seems the story might be lacking but i hoping for more in the next season.
if you love vampire stories, with some nice fansevice once n while and intresting story..be sure to give this a try yoosh!

Strawberry panic seemed to be a popular 'yuri-shipper' anime so i decided to give it a try..sadly i was a bit dissapointed.[i know there a few of my MaL friends who loved it ..so sorry and hear me out] I'll start with the story.
Story left much to be desired. The pace of it for was felt so slow. im not sure if i was the constant --lets have a tea party-- or -- make some cookies-- fillers but for me, it felt as if the episode wouldnt end. [not good if im constantly looking at the timer to see if and ep is almost done yet] Not to
say there arnt shipper-arks that i wasnt curious about their ending but where
i was taken in the story was either typical or bland. Somthing that also bothered me was the lack of male characters...ANYWHERE!! no male teachers, vistors...brothers...umm..fathers! O.o someone has to have dad iright?! i understand this is a girls school and yuri..but come on! the setting of the story also bothered me they seemed to never leave their school area ..either to shop or do typical high school stuff [in im guessing japan]
when they did leave it was for romantic tryst in the country or priviate beach. the only thing these girls did for fun were tea parties,school politics,
and make up diff clubs everyday[where id be xD if i was stuck there] just not realistic..even for anime.
Art was pleasent to the eye. i did like their character design; Main
character shizuma's eyes were very pretty. The design of the outfit design was great w/ the 3 schools having diff dress. i liked the layout of the school
and strawberry dorms w/ it heavy cathloic school feel. some charc seem to
have huge craniums and somes the their legs look like flesh colored sticks,but
still not many complaints.
Music meh..not a strong point it seems not even for people
who enjoy this series intro and endings were cutsy ,but not really catchy
or anything memorable..neither was backround music..so meh
Characters i found to be a bit sterotypical either for their
character type or for women in general. Good ex: is Amane: silent,but
kind prince type [she even rides a white horse..star bride..really *face palm*] and the shy sweet princess type:Hikari. is it suprising that she fell for Amane..nope! even if she has perfectly nice,funny, smexy roomate
right next to who'madly in love with her Do they do anything unexpected with this story..they tried xP u wana see a good girl whos
a prince w/ girl princess story watch Rev. Girl Utena..unless u love predictable story. The fact the complex feeling of love and desire wre either limited to one person or solved w/ tea parties or solved w/ tears[via end w/ hikari and her secrect admier] of hopful --i know you love me,but i wana be just friends
sooo can u help me put on this dress for the ultimate date w/ girl i choose over you..thanx ..friend!-- that irked me be/c no one would do that. it also
kinda botherd me that EVERYONE was girlxgirl..there was a mention of male fiance at one point but that was it. but i guess if i was stuck in strawberry dorms for 3-4years id sneak into my roomates bed too xD
So overall This anime could have been much better but hasnt turned
me off of yuri ill just research better on the story next time. Wasnt all bad
even if it took forever for a kiss to happen [and it did!] It had it cute moments
and sexy-steamy moments [some still a let down] but still i cant say it was enjoyable to watch. more frustrating than anythign else. So if you like pridictable story, stereotypical main characters, constant tea parties spiced
w/ few steamy yuri-shipper scenes then this is one anime u shouldnt miss..otherwise wait for another more intracate yuri to come out.

Im not sure much is to be said about this story. To be honest it was a bit generic. "Sweet innocent lil sister or in this case twin sister, he loves her, he struggles with it, she comes to realize it. Oh but what about Kami-sama!
They get over it..screw the gods, make out, the end."
Not to say its not a cute story and the art was pleasent to the eye.
The music was also cute ,but theres wasn't much to it. Its pretty short so
i guess that shouldve been my first clue not expect too much.

If your looking for hot bishonen rockers and an innocent high school girl
that gets twisted into their lives with steamy results then look no more!
While the Aine's constant kidnapping and inaine naive nature can get really
annoying, the story is still pretty decent. The romance factor is not so much a *gag me w/ a spoon* moment as is it is sweet Although i noticed as the story goes on the sex gets dirtier and naughtier. *thumbs up* Th eonly thing that bothered me about the art was the way Mayu Shinjo draws hands
and legs. Their fingers are freakishly long! and sometimes she can get outta hand with guy's height. So in conclusion, plenty of eye candy+ decent story x HOT sexy scenes = SHOUJO MANGA GOLD!! read more
