Accel world is probably the closest (maybe) anime to SAO, but probably not as great
both goes to the future with technology that lets you move in 3D world.
both plays games and is pretty serious, although accel world is just an over reacting of seriousness
both main character are good at game
Romantic, SAO has better romance
if you watch this, definitely watch SAO. i think it will be better for most people

the game world... actually this kinda look like a copy, but SAO is made with much better quality

gintama has action and ano natsu have romance
but both have comedy, gintama has more comedy

very similar, that is there's fighting between, for highschool their own kind, for princess their family
the main character died and got revived by his master.
the master really cared for the the main protagonist
and there's demon/vampires

it's not THAT similar, it's just that both anime has a guy that's, for Astarotte IS a father, and in papa is just kinda like a father, both taking care of a child. Astarotte isn't a story about that though, papa is more of a family story, and Astarotte is more of a romance stuff

both of this anime involve using swords for fighting. although the main character are not alike they are both strong. bleach intended to have more action while gintama is more comedy

unlike naruto or some other main stream or so, gintama and one piece doesn't have a side talk/story since no one really like it and get on with the main point. although gintama doesn't really have a main point to the story besides the comedy and fighting that randomly occurs

just when you though the main character will like this person, it changes to the other, but yosuga transfer in many direction of relationship.

Mostly since both main protagonist are surrounded by many girls

it's somewhat similar since
both have girls liking one guy, but kampfer the guy can also be a girl, doesn't happen in Mashiro

both anime have groups of people whom help others and as they do that they have more allies as they go on. many similarity occurs in both these anime, but SKET Dance have less romance

both these anime have lots of comedy, and every character are unique in their own ways. also they seem to have somewhat of a romance going on in both anime.
