I've been skipping fillers from the anime too, but now that I've caught up with the latest episode, I have no more One Piece to watch so I resorted to watching the fillers. They're a tad bit uninteresting, but better that than nothing.

Then again, not reading the manga makes me feel so left out. Almost everyone in tumblr's posting manga spoilers and how awesome the latest chapters are ;A;

To be honest, I haven't even read any One Piece omake. I'm not much of a manga reader, but somehow saying that I wouldn't read the One Piece manga because I prefer the anime feels like I'm committing blasphemy.

the only filler-arc i really liked was the one right after skypiea; when they landed in that marine base. i heard oda helped write that one! :x

oh my gosh, yes! i loved the coby & helmeppo filler (is my bias showing? they're my favourite minor characters haha). they're cute, but sometimes they can be such a drag to watch too.. :')

and yeah, i prefer the more toned down heartwarming moments myself. i didn't really enjoy the last 2 eps of natsume season two as much as the other episodes, since they were so ~dramatic~ hahah. (but still pretty good!)

i never thought about using character's last names, that's a good idea! i'm so bad with coming up with usernames-- usually i just combine two cute/pretty words together and hope it sounds nice haha. :')
