Hello, MyAnimeList community. Let me introduce myself. I am currently a college junior. I am currently majoring in Information Systems , a strand of business and I currently live in Waco. My non-anime related hobbies include politics, programming, PC gaming, bridge, chess, debate, philosophy and electronics.


I am a fairly casual fan of anime. The number of complete series I have watched is around 55 as indicated by my current list. I am also quite knowledgeable about a number of series I have yet to watch. I have learned about these series by reading about 100 or so reviews about other series that have piqued my interest.

My interests in anime are fairly broad. While my favorite genres are slice of life and comedy, I find myself able to enjoy any series that is well-made regardless of genre. However, there are few genres that I less likely to like. These include ecchi, hentai, sports, mecha and most shounen action shows. However, I try to keep an open mind. I find it impossible to select just one favorite series because I find it impossible to compare two series of radically different genres in terms of quality.

This is the second anime-related site I have ever used, the other being ANN. (animenewsnetwork.com) While ANN has its strengths, I thought it would be nice to broaden my horizons and meet and participate with an entirely new community here. My ANN username is the same as this one. Thank your for reading my introduction.

Metroid_Ex | 08-27-08, 4:49 PM Go to either My Profile edit or Olliff's Details edit. Go to My list settings, I currently have Numbers, Score, Episodes, Rating, and Tags checked. For the background I went to Ny List style and proceeded to upload a background and then used the repeat option. I also changed the color of the color of the font. there are people here who have Really Fancy lists lke Mathes, but I have no idea how he did his. Reply
