Welcome!
Hello! Здравствуйте!שלום!こんにちは! Bonjour! ♪
My name is Alisa.
FAV. TYPE OF ANIME&MANGA: mostly interested in Old school shoujo manga, but contemporary cutesy shoujo manga too once in a while if the art is pretty. The art is very important to me!! (that's why the existence of some of the manga on my list may seem weird)
FAV. MANGAKAS: Naoko Takeuchi, Yumiko Igarashi, Kyouko Hikawa, Keiko Takemiya, Koge Donbo, Arina Tanemura...
INTERESTS: literature (mostly classics), weird poetry, drawing animals, classical ballet (taking adult classes), impressionist and post-impressionist art, high fashion, larme, nymphet-ish and american 90-ish fashion (and Japanese fashion inspired by it!)

Of course who doesn't love Sailor Moon? :D
I love Sailor Venus as well! She is so pretty ^^.
I am quite shy as well >.< It's a pain being shy isn't it?
Can I ask have you watched all 5 seasons of Sailor Moon and if so are you going to watch the remake? I have just finished season 4 and I am certainly going to watch the remake! ^^.
Sorry for the random comment >.<
Well, when you learn Japanese, if you ever want to translate something together...lol I can literally do everything else besides the actual translation part. Even raws aren't hard to find these days, you don't even need physical volumes to get good quality scans. *Sigh* I wish I knew Japanese...
I need to read more vintage shoujo...or at least add more to my plan to read. xD I only know of the big ones like Candy Candy, Rose of Versailles, and Lady Georgie.
I really wish either more series would get licensed, or more scanlation groups would pick up older shoujo. I don't know how hard they are to get a hold of in Japan, but the really classic ones shouldn't be. If I knew any Japanese I would probably start a group, since I could also clean and proofread.
And yeah, my list is ridiculously long. But I will get through it, some day. :D I don't think I'll ever not like anime/manga, at this point.
I also love the look of older shoujo manga. I just finished reading Marmalade Boy, and my favorite thing about it is the art.
Also, Best Coast is such a great band. Their first album always makes me happy. :D
Anyways, you seem to really like shoujo romance/comedy anime. :o
