Yeah. I understand what you mean. Sometimes, some anime/mangas would be a whole lot better if they just didn't have a sequel. :O Cowboy bebep, I'm slowly trying to finish it along with trigun, samurai champloo and welcome to the NHK but I fail at finishing just one series at a time. Well, all my favorites are the exception (lol, I finished them in 5 days or less...all 26 eps...).
Hmm, I should catch up with Bakuman now that I think about it.... You know how there are some series where weekly updates aren't enough to satisfy your inner reader. Well sadly I forget sometimes to update my self when I let the series run for a while and whoosh, just like that, 40 chapters are already out...
Oh, Gintama! I am going to watch that soon! I swear, but I don't want yet. I want to understand the jokes more so must have watched/read more anime/manga. I feel like I'm not otaku enough yet to take on all that awesomeness.

Actually, I highly recommend the manga, however, I haven't seen the anime. One of my old school friends who I keep in touch with (penguingirl413) has seen it and told me it made her eyes bleed because it was so horrible (she gave it a 1!) sooo, I'm not gonna say anything about that matter. BUT! IMO the manga is awesome :)

Heh, I know what you mean. Speaking of real life, don't you sometimes have those days where youre at your highest stage of fan-girlishness? Some days I'll just be a total fan girl and my friends just think I'm the weirdest person on earth. I also get all excited about interesting mangas and try to explain them to one of my friends (who I've tried countless times to convert into an otaku, but it just never works), but I always mess up/make stories sound way more boring than they actually are >__<

I was reading one of your reviews and I thought it was really great how you incorperated that quote from bakuman. It really changed my perspective on manga/anime because now that I think about it Mushishi (mushishi reference~woooh), it's a very simple plot, but it is amazing. So anyway, just thought i'd put that out there :)
Hmm, what else. Oh ya! Y-kun to M-chan is just made of pure win. I think one the reasons I put it on my manga favs is because it's so heart warming and it just is hilarious ALL THE TIME. (I still don't know how I crafted a manga favorites list out of the stuff I've read...)
Alsoooo... I see you like KHR! Have you heard of Eyeshield 21? Well, yeah it's about football and at first I was a little skeptical >___> but! the way this manga's story is told is really amazing. It's definitely a suspenseful manga and really funny too.
*A* I think otakus aren't getting the credit they deserve. They're on a different level of awesome.
p.s. sorry it took so long to reply, I had some really big tests recently. It's hindering my otaku-ness. ahhhhh...

Oh yeah, school is fine except for the fact that everyone is turning into zombies from overworking themselves. That reminds me, I was going to start an anime/manga club, but I was sick the week you could make one (which sucked). Now I'm getting all hyped up for next year in hope of brining out the hidden otakus in my school ^___^
And, OH. MY. GOD. You've just made me extremely happy! Mushishi is my life. I hope you love it!
I also recommend Darker than Black (heck, why not all my favorites) n___n

Yeah, I loved La Corda up until the part she became depressed, etc. For 6 or more episodes it was the same thing. But you're right, there was considerable man/eye/ear candy to enjoy...lol, but it just failed to impress me in the second half.
ahh, and I fail at multitasking. I think I currently have 12 animes which i'm skipping through and then about 50.3 billion mangas i'm simultaneously reading and putting on hold, etc. all that good stuff.
And I second that! I totally didn't expect to spend as much money as I did at the con I went to. I don't even know where all my money went! I only bought some posters...a buttons...rofl. I feel I should have got more things. Ah, I was too careless and got so caught up in the awesome otaku-ness I was gypped! Oh well. >______>

Ah, that break sounds good. I'm already picturing myself sleeping/reading for HOURS. But anyway, I've heard of Angel Sanctuary before but never actually checked it out cause I'm manga/anime ADD. Well, not really, but I always put manga/anime on hold to read/watch others and then don't accomplish anything. Hmm, well I'm definitely going to add it to my list now :D

That reminds me, I went to this anime fest in NYC and they had a TTGL art books which I practically passed out from the awesomeness, but I sadly spent too much money on other things...like Kamina keychains and Totoro buttons......(oops)... and couldn't buy them, but that's another story....

This season has very few good ones, and I'm not expecting that much for winter season as wel based from the alpha list i've seen except for nodame finale.

since, I'm here as well na rin, haha I'd like you to recommend me a commendable manga since I don't like risking and wasting time on something I probably won't like/finish. I assume, you've read so much manga already ( o wait... don't tell me they're all BL O_O )...
