Koi no Kawaki directs to the emotional appeal of the person reading it. That love and relationship is not just for two person involved in it, it can be for more. It says that love is complex and is a bittersweet situation, and sometimes even selfish, as in the case of Yuka getting three men all at the same time.
The mangaka tries to reason why she did this and that, and all of us being human beings, agreed that we are indeed selfish and her actions can be understandable. But what happens after is just unacceptable. Highly disturbing, if I may say so.
The synopsis itself is misleading; this manga, for me, cannot even be considered BL. The three boys do not love for each other nor they feel any sense of care for them. What they have in common is their feelings for the girl, Yuka, with the three of them having the sense of proximity with each other because of her. The story is dark, centering on the theme of love and hate, but the conflict resolution isn't well-explained. It is written in such a way that will leave you asking, "Why?" The smut scenes aren't even that great at all. It feels rape, but though the other party is "consenting."
Seriously, I can't even write a proper review; I just want to rant and rant.
Read if you are intrigued, but in order to not feel like the way I do, I suggest otherwise. read more

It was funny at the right places, the art is something you'll love, definitely smexy and has a plot to boot.
Mainly, in all these 11 volumes, the focus is Raizou and Kon in the supernatural world of kamis, the paper dolls used to receive and heal the wounds inflicted by the master, through exchanging of bodily fluids. Even though somewhat strange and if one isn't familiar with Japanese terms, the story can be easily understood as the rest of the chapters pass by.
Moreover, this manga really has all for it also shows the love stories of other kamis and their masters, not just focusing on Raizou alone.
To sum it up, it has all the qualities you long for in a yaoi manga rolled into one. :D read more

The plot itself is very twisted. The atmosphere is so dark. The story revolves around obsessive love. The love of a boy for a girl to the point of killing, a brother complex, a girl in love with her girl best friend, mother's love to the point of committing suicide just so her child won't separate from her.
And yeah, the characters are just as crazy as well.
But if it's anything, even though it's like this, you can't just stop yourself from reading to know what's more. What will happen? What's the extent of their obsessiveness?
And another of its redeeming point is its good art.

The story is good, the art is well-drawn. And the characters are very lovable. Especially Fubuki-kun.
It was very enjoyable, plus it's only short so it wouldn't take up too much time to read. I recommend reading this if you don't have anything to read. It's definitely worth the time.

Actually it is kinda good. It's only 9 chapters, and it's a collection of one-shots.
Every story has a nice, cute plot so you wouldn't get bored reading it.
Though it's not a priority to read, it's still worthwhile reading it. :)

This is freakin' hilarious. So if you want to laugh, go read this one. The main character, the Sun Knight, has this split personality (the one he IS required to do and say being the Sun Knight, and his hidden personality, the one he truly feels). Because of that, one will laugh at his quirks and all his scheming plots.
And the art is good too. Though, one may say that they looked like girly boys, with their hairs long and perfect features, a bishie is still a bishie. And they are really eye-candies.
Story-wise, it has a good plot and the suspense will make you long for more chapters.
Overall, this is a great read! And even though you are not novel-lover, you prefer the manhua better, you will really pick the novel and read on afterwards just because you want to know more.
(when I read the manhua at mangafox, chapter 10 is the latest. On the novel counterpart, chapter 33. :D So much win! ♥)

The story itself is unique and exquisite. It will make you hooked and captivated to read it until the end, plus it has a rereadable value. :) I even cried, a lot for that matter, in the end. :'(
And if you're looking for fun and humor, this manga has it. I remember many times laughing my heart out coz the gag's really funny. And you will also love the characters.
Also, this is, in no way, yaoi or shounen ai. Though others are being mistaken because Serena was reincarnated as a boy.
Please, do read this. It was nice! ^O^ read more
