For almost 12 years now I have been into anime, and it's certainly been an interesting ride. It all started with Sailor Moon on USA Network and a special issue of Animerica magazine, and I never looked back. I've seen the change from $30 two episode VHS to dual-language DVDs. I've seen the evolution of third-generation traded fansubs with a two week wait to digital fansubs available at the click of a button and in your harddrive within two hours. Who knows what tomorrow may bring?
I get a lot of pleasure over finding niche anime, shows that get buried among the thousands and have been off the air for perhaps a decade or longer - shows that a very scant few North American fans have even heard of, never mind watched. Shoujo is my favorite - the cuter, the better - simply can't get enough of it, even if I know all the cliches, stock characters and plot devices by heart ;)

Thanks for your Kirarin Revolution review, you kept it short, neat and explained perfectly how its composed!
You seem pretty much into retro animes, i take it you keep track on many of those, i also enjoy romance/shoujou animes, they are really cute and unique!

FOR jungle guu I would say watch a few more eps. i didn't like the first episode that much either but I ended up loving it after watching more.
