Sorry mirocj for the late reply. Glad you enjoyed Kabaneri! Myself I was surprised at negativity generated from the series. Too many folks were comparing it to Attack on Titan rather than assessing the series based on its own merits I think. For an original series, I believe the show exceeded expectations :)

Am also very glad you are enjoying the shows I love as well! I definitely should check out the shows you enjoy, given how close our tastes are :)

If you interested in getting more active on MAL, clubs are the best community building part of the site.
Every season at the Anime Guild we choose the best Opening, Ending, Character and of course Anime of the Season.

Haha yeah. I suspect White Album 2 ruined Fall 2014 anime for me. The show was so awesome that the other shows I was watching concurrently then paled painfully by comparison. Unbreakable doll was one of the series I dropped then. That said, I really like Yaya and the character designs in the show. :)

On our similar tastes, it's uncanny! :) All of your top 5 anime are my evergreen favourites! I'm glad to be able to share some recommendations. :)

On chatting in the 'comments' section, I suppose it has a public visibility component that invites others to just jump in and further enrich the discussion. Maybe some other like-minded Da Capo fan may just pop into our dialogue. :)
