First anime I've ever completed: I think it was Ouran High School Host Club, but it also might have been Black Butler, Attack on Titan, or Kaichou wa Maid sama.

Well for updating the previews, you'd need to check if Shishio has since updated the Google Drive or Dropbox code for that specific preview CSS code.

But yeah, it'd probably be best if you just made a new layout of your own; though since you seem to be a beginner, I recommend you borrow a layout from someone instead and simply make it your own like I did with mine.

I'm still not done lol I'll be probably be up Saturday night working on it xD the wig came though so I'm pretty excited about that. Also my mom actually bought a sewing machine because she was so fed up with me asking her to help sew my cosplays by hand (also she kind of wanted one anyway). I'm super excited about this I can make all sorts of cool things now :o
Also I forget if you ever told me you were going to cosplay... It's not too late ya know :p
BTW I discovered playlist live is in dc this year and I kind of really want to ask my parents if I can go since we have friends I can stay with but I know its a crazy idea and they'll say no but it's such a perfect opportunity!! this is the first time it's in dc, it's always in Florida and I'll probably have to wait until I'm in college and have enough money to go.... Ahhh Shishio-kun! I'm in his club as well and lurk in it sometimes haha. I borrowed my layout from a friend, and added my own stuff and fixes to it to make it my own.
From my experiences of following a lot of Shisio-kun's tutorials on something, the directions always seem to be off since I do everything they tell me, like copy and paste this and that to the bottom of your CSS code but that never does anything; you have to copy and paste said section under it's appropriate category for it to like do anything.
I think it'd be easier to just get a new layout and start from there lol. The only thing I can figure out that might fix your anime previews that appear pink is to update the CSS code for it since it might be outdated. Maybe you also placed it in the wrong area as well and that could be causing glitches since so many of them appear pink where they're not pink on mine.
I can also give you some easy additions to the CSS layout that are easy to place and actually follow the instructions (mostly) lol.
Lol, I'm the same way ^_^ I always get tired of like my About Me and always want to add new to stuff to it~
As for you actual anime layout, there's not much more you can change in terms of aesthetics without changing the whole style of the layout itself. Bug fixes are still fixable for the most part though. Out of curiosity, did you make this layout of yours entirely by yourself, or did you borrow or get it donated to you from someone else?
I'll give you some more help tomorrow since it's getting late over here.

omg these snow days are GETTING ON MY NERVES. ok I know I said I enjoyed them but guess what?? evacuation day and bunker hill day got CANCELLED because of the stupid snow, yes we don't get out until the 30th, AND I HAVE FINALS ON MY BIRTHDAY! ;_; this ruins like half my summer plans too... a lot of the things i applied for start during finals week.... hfjdkakshashd im so mad

I'm telling you you WILL regret it. i didn't start seriously hating it until maybe 10 or so episodes in... I just kinda hit my breaking point ;_; the only thing you could possibly gain from it are all the jesus onii-sama memes (you'll know what I'm talking about later)... i guess we could share some lulz though
omg these snowstorms are ridiculous! can we talk about that for a sec? idk about your school but we've gotten 5 days off in the past 2 weeks... plus 2 more this week means 7 days out of 21 WE LOST MORE THAN A WHOLE WEEK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. we're 1 day over the maximum snow day limit too... meaning any more snow days go into the void and we never have to make them up O___o i'm not complaining though more time for anime hehehe
surprisingly no. it changed considerably about half way through... I think I'd give the first half a 6 and the second an 8 so that averages out to a 7/10. not good, but not as terrible as i thought it would be. the only issue I have with it is that all those things I was complaining about earlier -- the characters' actions making no sense, the plot being dumb, etc -- are all explained towards the end. buuut the writers were way too good at what they did... it was a completely different situation in the beginning, and i hated everything about it. but by the end the facts had all changed, and what they did was technically justified. I know I should give it a good score for accomplishing its goal, but I literally dreaded watching this show and put it off for as long as possible, that's how much I hated it at first. so if I were to be objective I'd give it an 8... except I'm not objective lol. this anime has, sadly, left me with a sour taste in my mouth. plus the voice acting and animation were actually shit lol... they unfortunately did not get miraculously better half way through. soo I'm standing by my 7/10 score. that's not a bad score actually, just a big disappointment compared to what i thought i would get out of it. I wouldn't stop you from watching it either, you might enjoy it knowing it gets better later
