Disclaimer 1: This chart doesn't imply my intelligence but simply explains my anime/manga taste.
Disclaimer 2: I especially hate a lot of shows because of their shitty story/characters/underlying logic. The targets of my hatred are only popular anime/manga (Of course I don't need to hate things most people hate already). For shows that fall in that category, I would give a "1" score no matter what. You know, the average rating is calculated by taking the average of all user ratings. So for example if I put a "1" for an 8.5 anime with 10000 counted ratings, then I can reduce the average rating by only 0.00075. That's futile, I know, but just great enough for me! On the other hand, Hentai are rated on a different scale so that they don't get underrated for their genre.
I NEVER CARE MORE ABOUT THE STORY ITSELF THAN ABOUT THE INTELLIGENCE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS!
Exception:Welcome to NHK! (8.9/10) I hate myself for somehow I love this show.

POPULAR ANIME THAT I CAN'T HELP BUT DISLIKE: Disclaimer: I really hate some, and I hate some others because so many dumb people love them.
07-Ghost (stupid characters)
Akira (average story, stupid characters, excessive production value; who cares about the manga)
Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (brainless enjoyment)
Berserk (random shit fight)
Bleach (random shit fight)
LeiKaiSing said: Nobody dies in Bleach. Anyhow, as long as we're on the subject. Anyone feel like I do? I think that Bleach is bad. This shit is simply awful, especially as of late. Shit plot. Shit characters. No backgrounds (in later chapters at least). But I still feel a need to see this through to the grim end. It's like taking revenge on a group of crazy martial arts gangsters after they massacred everyone in your karate dojo. Killing them won't bring them back, but you know that in your cold dead heart, consumed with revenge and unable to feel happiness ever again, that you need to slay every last one of them.
Canaan (average story, excessive production value)
Elfen Lied (average story, super stupid characters)
GANTZ (don't let mangaka just draw what they want please...)
Ghost in the Shell 1995
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series (story is just based on stupidity)
Kara no Kyoukai 7: Satsujin Kousatsu (stupid story, forced happy ending, super excessive production value)
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (lame transition to battle anime, stupid characters)
Kuroshitsuji (my enjoyment ended since the circus arc when all characters became stupid)
Mushishi (too slow, not consistent)
Naruto movies (OK to watch but bullshit story)
One Piece movies and OVAs (OK to watch but bullshit story)
Shaman King (7.5/10 at first, 1/10 at last, characters end up stupid and conceited)
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (super stupid characters)
Tokyo Godfathers (stupid and annoying characters)
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (does it even have a story?...)

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (is there even a story in this!?..)
WHY MY FAVORITE LIST? (or Personal appeal on my Favorites) ANIME
Death Note: The best 'smart' story so far in manga world. I like the manga better but there is not enough slot on my manga list so I fav-ed its anime instead. I haven't properly watched this anime myself though... but this show is supposed to be good since it's based on the manga with no deviation, plus the amazing death rock in OP and ED. Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children: Complete Many people may not regard this as an 'anime' because it is... one hell of an anime! This the most awesome 3D animated movie at the moment and serves as an awesome prequel for the legendary game of all time Final Fantasy VII. I believe most of you didn't fav it because you are so worried this of all things would make other shows in your fav list look like shit. Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch R2: I doubted this show would work since its premise of Britanian attacking Nippon was a bit forceful. Actually I didn't feel really good watching its 1st season because there are illogical events at times. However, from the 2nd season it starts to become a really really good, fast-paced, emotional show. I hate myself for somehow I love this show. I also like Lelouch because I always want to be sacrificing everything -money, pleasure, youth, LOVE- for the sake of my ideal just like him but I couldn't. Bakemonogatari: This is the best thing I have ever watched. It is recommended that you know Japanese to understand how beautiful the conversations are. Each female character reaches the perfection of her kind and style of romance. Different arcs contribute to a seamless and compelling storyline that makes sense for every details. After thoroughly thinking, I wish to have each of them as my lover each day rather than pick one. Seitokai no Ichizon: This is my personal favorite and I can't expect many people to like it. Its jokes are good enough; the voices are good even though all main female seiyu were making their debut! The important point is that I was in the same situation as the protagonist, improving my grades from worst to best to be in the same class with the ones I like :) That's why it touched me so much.
MANGA
Air Gear: I wrote a short review for this manga. It really blows my mind every time I read a new chapter during this 4 years for its art and the amount of creativity injected into every single details. I always prepare to be amazed at the very beginning of every single chapter! Yakitate!! Japan: Likewise, this manga also blows my mind because of its art and the amount of creativity put into each 'Japan' (the protagonist calls each new kind of bread he makes a 'Japan + number'). The story is amazing and educating at times. Until Death Do Us Part: One said this manga is 'too awesome to ignore' and I just can't agree more. It may start a bit cliched but soon become absolutely absorbing. Most characters are CONSISTENTLY smart and the art and action are second-to-none. Ryuuroden: This was the best 'smart' manga made at its time. Besides wonderful art and action, the logical and rational growth of main characters make you CONSISTENTLY love them more and more despite their foolishness/hesitation at a few times. The first season bases on and follows closely the Three Kingdom Romance (3KR) where the charisma and grace and wit of the legendary Chinese generals are all vividly depicted. The second season is more about the protagonist in his departure from the history of 3KR and focuses on politics rather than strategies. First Girl: The is the best shoujo manga I have ever read with compelling story and, in a similar sense to Ryuuroden, amazing growth and beauty of all main and supporting characters. This is all about perfection of love but, unfortunately, not for kids.
CHARACTER
Sugisaki, Ken: I see MY OWN REFLECTION in this character Lamperouge, Lelouch: the STRONGEST HEART Yagami, Light: the MACHIAVELLIAN Senjougahara, Hitagi: my DREAM GIRL Hijikata, Mamoru: the SMART and STRONGEST Fukunaga, Yuuji: practically the SMARTEST Hiyama, Ren: the reckless STRATEGIST Izuna, Noriyuki: the blind LOVER Munsu: the most RIGHTEOUS Lee, Shiho: the KOREAN LOVER Littner, Yoko: the HOTTEST 2D girl Orifushi, Mafuyu: best GOTHIC LOLI Gainsborough, Aerith: the most BEAUTIFUL and role model of femalekind even when compared to Yuna (FFX) and Tifa (FFVII) (watch Aerith in Crisis Core to see her most beautiful and maiden appearance)
PEOPLE
Uematsu, Nobuo: greatest and LEGENDARY GAME MUSIC COMPOSER of all time Nomura, Tetsuya: superb animation director and LEGENDARY CHARACTER DESIGNER Takahashi, Kazuki: legendary INVENTOR of Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise Horie, Yui: SWEETEST and most ECCHI voice Noto, Mamiko: most INNOCENT voice Sawashiro, Miyuki: best female PERSONALITY voice Kamiya, Hiroshi: best male PERSONALITY voice Hanazawa, Kana: absolutely SWEETEST and CUTEST voice Momoi, Haruko: best "H" voice with character Mii Sena, Youtarou: best ERO mangaka
Lots of agreeable and disagreeable stuffs on your intro. And the most surprising part is you found Air Gear flawless. Well, I rated it as a masterpiece but some chapters before the last were very complicated with all those physics. Oh! Great stuffed too many lessons that I and my classmate actually found them boring sometimes.
So, I haven't been able to post updates of rorico's videos for a while, mostly because I was too busy with my Uni and had no internet.
Anyway, he asked me to link two of his videos.
His "rant" series are officially complete now, and have in total 11 videos and an "in the making" episode. So, if you're interested for more, just search for them shouldn't be hard at all.
He also began making a new series of videos called the "History" series, which are basically a youtube video format adaption of his well-researched and analytical huge-like-the-wall-of-China Anime History entry in his blog.
Here's the link for the the first video (three have been made in total)...

Alrighty! I posted a thread about Kuroshitsuji in our club. I haven't figured out if it's a retrospective of Black Butler or a brief take on the industry as a whole (which I could go on forever about), but now I can find some time into working on this, as it's seems vaguely focused. Sorry for the lack of activity.
