For starters, the three most important things in my life (not necessarily in that order):
- Marvin (my PC);
- KamWii (my Wii);
- my Pride.
I'm a IT professional, graduated on of the the best Computer Science courses available here in Brazil by the age of 21, having joined the referred university by the age of 16.
When it comes to anything related to logical reasoning I'm a wonderkid, with seeming limitless skills and unparalleled speed of brainstorming. Such astonishing feat is counter-balanced though by my severe lack of empathy and natural social skills that everyone else seems to have.
To summarize, I could say I'm your default genius... as troublesome as it comes. Most likely not THAT genius, but definitely THAT troublesome.
I'm currently working as an Analyst at a major global outsourcing company, providing support for a international cellphone company.
I've began watching anime when I was about 10 or so, with nonetheless than Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (just the thing that would catch a brat's eyes). Later on, with the advent of internet I was able to get my hands into some more complicated stuff, like Gundam (by far, my favorite), X 1999, Fullmetal Alchemist, and so on.
As much as my most likely reason to watch a show as one of my trademark personality feats is the interest for complexity in characters way more the story, trama, action, context or anything like that. Who cares if the guy/gal is killing everyone or saving everyone or none of that... as long as he/she is deep and sincere.
I'm just the kind of guy that can find deep philosophical thoughts even watching some lame humor movie like American Pie.
As a side factor, I tend to sympathize way more with villians than with central heroes (probably by the fact that the vast majority of heroes are just as stupid as a donkey). Given that, my most favored characters of all times (not necessarily in that order) are:
- Seto Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh) - Uber coolness; Values power above heart; Smart and strong willed
- 'Kira' - Yagami Light (Death Note) - Just brilliant, plus insane rivalry with L
- 'L' (Death Note) - Almost as much brilliant as Yagami
- Zero - Lelouch Lamperouge - Lelouch vi Britannia (Code Geass) - Personification of myself, genius, chess player, absolutely no physical capability, willing to mow down anything/anyone that stands on his way (big fan of 'Lulu' here)
- Kira Yamato (Gundam SEED) - The ultimate coordinator
- Lacus Clyne (Gundam SEED) - Deep, soft, corageous and sincere
- Kuchiki Byakuya (Bleach) - Calm, resolute, aware of his own power
- Ichimaru Gin (Bleach) - Treacherous as hell (what else is needed?)
- Urahara Kisuke (Bleach) - Genius, outcast
- Luffy (One Piece) - He IS a monkey... but dunno why I like him - As truly sincere as a man can get
*Surely that might be some guys that were left out 'cause they've been forgotten at the time I was writing this.
**Vegeta, if weren't for the dumbness of the rest of the DBZ show would deserve an entry... even if just for the legendary phrase when he turns SSJ for the first time. As an answer to Krillin asking him how could he've achieved that since only sayians with a pure heart are allowed to go SSJ, Vegeta said: "My heart is pure! Pure evil!".
More coming soon...
