Started watching anime recently, around March - April of this year. All my anime is torrented and then converted to mp4, for playback on my iPod (nano). I watch at night, usually from around 11 to 1-2, maybe 3 in the morning if the series is good. I Every day, I look forward to getting home, to finishing up my daily activities, just so that I can shower, change, and sit down in bed to watch. Though it's a pain to read subtitles on my Nano (no iTouch / laptop), I still do my best, because it's something that means so much to me and makes up such a big part of my life.
If asked to describe myself, anime would be one of the words I'd use. It has influenced how I view relationships with friends, how I talk to others, and how I see the world in general.
Looking back, I didn't know what I was missing. As it's now nearing the end of my sophomore year in high school, I don't know how I managed to get through 16 (almost 17) years of my life without even bothering to inquire about this thing called Anime.
I'm glad I started now, though. It's never too late to change your life.
