That one is just so very very cute I couldn't stop even if I wanted to! >w< And yes! That also striked me! Uke's are very cute if they're a bit smaller and have big round eyes etc. etc., but manly uke's can be even better! The story is also believable. At least, IMO it quite is.
Ayase really is the most far-fetched uke out there. Seriously, if such a boy would really live in this world, he would be devoured by hamsters or kitties. He's cute (make that VERY cute), but he's also quite the pussy. I like rape for a bit, but I only like it on one condition; there's got to be some REAL romance after it. And as you said, so far we haven't seen that yet... only sadistic love.

Love Neco is and will always be one of my favorites. <3 Mishima Kazuhiko is a great manga-ka, she can deliver such cute/believable/sexy/almost hardcore yaoi manga. She will always be one of my favorites. But Ayano Yamane and Haruka Minami are also pretty good. And Nakamura Shungiku's style of drawing may be a bit weird to get used to; but she CAN DO IT! =D

Yes, I really hate the ''rape is love'' thingie too. Have you heard of Garasu no Suna? It matches the plot you describe precisely! Some uke-chara comes to a foreign country, gets captured, gets raped by a seme-chara with a seriously HUGE ****, sees the rapist crying after some time and suddenly he loves him and they're made for each other and they will always stay together!!!!!!!! *DRAMA*
I hated it SO much, it hurt my fragile soul. ;___; I gave it a 2, as I never give a 1. It's the lowest score it can get IMO.
I really recommend you not to read that one. ><

Yeah, Little Butterfly is a good example of a GOOD yaoi manga.
Same goes for Junjou Romantica, Love Recipe (although.....), Challengers, Love Neco (although....), The Tyrant Falls in Love, Totally Captivated, Okane ga Nai (although...) and Our Kingdom.
Some of them also have the rape thing, that's why I typed (although....) behind it. But they are still very good in my opinion, that's why I mentioned them.
I saw in your list that you also know them, or at least the most of them, didn't check all.
How did you like them?

Have you heard of Mishima Kazuhiko, the mangaka of Love Neco? She's also really awesome! I have read most of her works, and although she has one or two less great manga, she has way more than 1 fantastic pieces of work!

I'm just taking advantage of my summer vacation. x) Sometimes I just feel like watching one series, but eventually I get bored of one series and I want to watch something completely unrelated to it. i.e. if one day I was sick of watching something action-y and intense like Bleach I would watch some slow paced anime like Emma or Aria. It's all about balancing I guess. =)
