Story: 9/10. The background storyline of this is genius, imho. The plot develops well and the ending of this series was an AMAZING cherry on top. I can't say much more without writing spoilers.. this is an anime that you just have to watch to figure out the story line. A lot of mystery is involved so it keeps you going.
Art: 8/10. Flawed at times, and somewhat weird.. but it is unique so I gave it an 8/10. I loved the character design of Re-l mostly. And pino. It was just beautiful.
Sound: 9/10. I lalaLOVE the opening song and the ending was very nice. I also think that the background music fits very well with the atmosphere.
Character: 10/10. Each character has its own unique personality. Throughout each episode, you'll unravel more and more about each character. 10/10 because Vincent was the cherry on top when it came to this. He was such a complex character, a complex person, he was the mystery that kept me watching. Re-l's personality was developed so well too, imo. Her attitude would fit the way she acted.
Enjoyment: 8/10. Overall, I liked it and had a great interest throughout the anime. There were parts that were WAY too slow-paced and bored me nearly to tears, so that's a negative. Another negative is that there were some really confusing episodes that made no sense whatsoever. It is arguable whether or not they are fillers or actually contribute to the development of the characters/plots. Either way, it was confusing, so eh. :(
Overall: 8/10. The storyline is fantastic, art is nice and unique, music good, characters amazing, and I enjoyed watching it for the majority of the time. Overall I'll give it an 8/10 because of that. read more

I'm giving a review because not many music videos are watched.
So, yep, like the video, this review will be pretty short.
First off, the art & sound were done pretty well and I think it fits well with the characters' design. Since it was short, there isn't really anything for me to complain about.
However, it does have a dark, gothic theme to it, so if you don't like that, I don't recommend watching it. The music is also pretty upbeat, not anything 'screamo'.
However, if you do enjoy those things, just know that you won't waste 2 minutes of your life. :) read more

Story: 9/10. I can definitely say, without a doubt, that this is the most inspirational and moving anime I've ever seen. At times, there is that typical shoujo-romance thing going on, but other than that, everything else is just too amazing for words. Also, the story is a bit plain at times, but I loved it nonetheless. It's very unique in its own ways -- the way it creates dramas, the way the relationships work all fit perfectly well into the storyline. It had a very calm atmosphere, yet there was enough drama to keep you watching. I love it. I couldn't ask for it any other way. :)
Art: 10/10. I thought the OP and ED were done well, the characters were drawn cutely, and the animation was good. :) No complaints here. I love the very soft atmosphere the animation gave me. It was soft and warm feeling.
Sound: 10/10. I listened to the soundtrack and I have to say I am IN LOVE with it! The music is probably one of the best features of this show. The calm relaxing acoustic music blended very well with the relaxing scenes. Suga Shikao's music felt right at home.
Character: 10/10. I thought each character in the story was unique in their own way and were all well-developed. I loved Hagu's shyness, Shuuji's parent-like personality, Takumi's maturity and understanding, Morita's crazy self, etc. I thought every personality was great and fit the characters in the story amazingly.
Enjoyment: 9/10. The story was great, everything was beautifully done, and this anime was definitely awe-inspiring for me. There were a lot of scenes that, after watching it, made me think about life. Definitely recommended for everyone to watch. I gave it a 9/10 because at parts, it was a bit slow, and I thought there were some parts that could have been more fast-paced. read more

This series was confusing for me, might be for you too, but it is DEFINITELY worth the watch. All of it!
The twists and turns, the expected, the unexpected, everything will happen whether you imagine it will or not.. it probably will.
After this, you'll probably know why I don't judge books by their covers anymore. ;o

Story: 10/10. Overall, this story was very nice and impacting. Let me tell you - six episodes sure can mean something. Each episode was about Momo (the main character, the shinigami) basically watching over a different person and trying to help them realize why they should live and what's good about their life. We as human beings often under appreciate what we have so the story was pretty unique and made me think that even the smallest things can make a difference.
Art: 10/10. Not much to say. I thought the OP/ED was sequenced nicely and I like how the animation and how the characters were drawn.
Sound: 10/10. Again, not much to say. I liked the OP/ED songs and the background music fit the scenes quite well. All in all, very relaxing and put together well.
Character: 10/10. Each episode had different characters involved, but the one that stated constant was Momo and her cat Daniel. I thought Momo's personality really fit her. Generally, shinigamis aren't imagined as "nice" but rather "mean, evil," and whatnot. I loved the fact that they showed that shinigamis can be nice and peaceful. Every different character she was with had personalities that fit the situation and the story.
Enjoyment: 8/10. This series was only 6 episodes, and for 6 episodes, it was awfully slow-paced. I know, this anime wasn't really one to focus on action, and I don't think it was intended to at all, but I thought just a teeny teeny tiny bit more action (to keep my low attention span) would've been better. At times, it was just a little too mellow and calm for me, but in general, the peaceful atmosphere of it was nice to see.
Overall: 9/10. This series was a short and simple one that told a lot in six episodes. Although, be warned, if you're one that likes action and has to have something going on, you might not really be all that interested in this series as I was. I personally like animes that kind of give us a 'life lesson' so that kept me watching. :) read more

And the fact that this wasn't some usual love triangle, or girl-loves-popular-boy-but-she's-worth-nothing kinda story really made it worthwhile.
You can see already that Risa, the main character, is quite amusing. And with Otani, the other main character, they're both.. amusingly amusing together~ :D
Yeahh. I can't say much without spoiling the greatness of this anime series. Basically, watch it. It'll keep you hooked on with the dramatic moments and the hilarious laughs you'll get out of it, and even a couple of major SURPRISING moments that'll make you gasp for air. :] read more

Story: 7/10. The story, as you can figure out, is probably very typical and you can probably guess each of the characters' moves. Let's put it this way; if it were chess, the character would be losing. Badly. Although, all in all, the drama and suspense of it kept me going, even though I knew how it was going to end.
Art: 8/10. Not the best, not the worst. I was a little bugged by the way the characters were drawn, but everybody has their own preferences. :) It wasn't bad enough so that I couldn't watch it, so it was bearable.
Sound: 9/10. Not much to say; the opening and the ending were nice, but some of the characters voices had bugged me. But it's okay.
Character: 7/10. The personality of most of the characters just bugged the hell out of me at times; they caused more drama than there should have been. Oh well, I kept watching anyway.
Enjoyment: 7/10. Oh, goodness. Most of the time I was watching, I was more annoyed and frustrated, if anything. read more

It was confusing, it was sometimes funny, it sometimes made me wonder, "wtf is going on?", but at the end, it all came clear.
Story: 9/10. The story was DEFINITELY one-of-a-kind. I gave it a 9/10 because at times, it was confusing, but that just makes you want to finish watching it to completely understand the whole thing. It takes place in the near future, having things a bit more sci-fi than it is up-to-date, and the things happening and what the characters say symbolizes everything that was going to happen. It makes you think.
Art: 10/10. Not much to say, really. I thought the animation was well-done and the art was nice enough for me to enjoy.
Sound:: 10/10. Again, not much to say. The music fit well with all of the events that went on, and the opening and ending was nicely done.
Character: 10/10. I thought all the characters were definitely well-developed and all unique in their own way. They all had their own personality that made them different from each other, yet they were all in the same hole of the same problems.
Enjoyment:: 9/10. Honestly, I thought there were some parts that were a bit slow-paced and could have been better if it was faster, but I enjoyed this movie quite well and finished it thinking, "wow, I've never watched anything like that." It is definitely something people need to check out. I think Satoshi Kon is an amazing director. :) read more

Personally, I thought the story was pretty unique. When I first heard of it, I thought it'd be a typical shoujo-romance type where boy like girl, but girl like someone else, or a love triangle, but it was that and more! There was a huge twist. The first few episodes captured me already, and I couldn't stop watching it until I was done with all of the episodes.
