Yeah I feel know, I have work and school but both aren't top intense so I'm trying to watch as much as possible as well. Still a few more months left which is nice.
I hope you like it! Other than the foodgasms I really enjoyed it, it's really hype and I love Souma as a character.
Yamada is tons of fun, it's not something I thought I'd enjoy it either. I hear the manga is great, so if I keep on liking yamada I'll have to give it a try after I finish. (I also said this about Ouran High School Host Club and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, but I haven't got to either yet. I need to someday though)
K-On is very different than yamada, although it doesn't feel like a guilty pleasure but that's because I like it so much. Honestly I hope you try it and love it but you might end up hating it, it really varies from person to person and is hard to say whether or not you'd like it. I thought I was going to hate it before I started it, glad I gave it a try though. If you don't like it within a few episodes then I guess it's not for you. We do share similar taste in non shonen series as well which is really nice, I hope you become a K-On fan too! :)
Recently I've been finishing up contracts and actually watching what I want, which feels kind of weird. So more Haikyuu, Gintama and K-On!! for me :D
Glad you loved FMA too! I love it so much, but it's been a really long time since I"ve seen it, it was the anime that got me into watching more anime. Been trying to rewatch it for a while to see if I rate it properly within my favorites or not.
Love to see you gave a 9 to Yamada-kun! I'm watching it rn and it's amazing so far. It feels like a guilty pleasure type of anime but it's just so much fun to watch, and Yamada himself is a type of character I love watching.
How far are you into Shokugeki? Are you liking it so far? Is summer going well for you so far?
Yeah I hear that too, I do want to check it out but I have so many things to watch T_T
I mean I liked the second half of Haikyuu more but that's because the first ha;f did a great job at building it, which I enjoyed a ton as well. Apparently s2 does the same thing with even more hype the second half.
2 years man god damn, it's one of the most popular anime and always mentioned on reddit, I'm really surprised you could procrastinate that. Definitely let me know your thoughts after you watch it :)
Alright for Gintama it's very slow sometimes but for the most part is amazing. Obviously it gets better, I think the second half of season one is quite a bit better than the first and I'm watching season 2 rn and it's freaking amazing.
As for recs I cannot believe you haven't watched fma yet. Definitely watch Fullmetal Alchemist - > Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood. I think you will most likely enjoy Rainbow as well, it's great :)

I need to watch Haikyuu s2 as well, I LOVED season 1 :)
FMA is the shit, it was my first anime, so maybe I'm biased but it was an amazing ride nonetheless.

At least there's a decent amount of supporters and it doesn't get shat on like some other long running shonen.
What are your thoughts on Gintama so far?
It sucks how unpopular one piece is on r/anime :(
