I agree, it is very sad, even though the author try to give some kind of optimistic message, at least in a way. I liked it a lot, I never thought it'd be that good.
I also started reading Kabu no Isaki yesterday, but there are only 4 chapters available so far :(

Hey, you should try and read Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms, it's not as good as YKK (no place to compare actually, in terms of story) but I thought it was good and under-appreciated .

We should try the friend-code thing some time then.
I used to play Mario Kart on WFC and there were too many cheaters to enjoy the game.. It was annoying.
And I don't buy DVD's too, but It's Aria and I want to own something to have with the anime except for the manga (which is not really available in israel, because no one ever heard about it here).

DS friend codes? umm, tbh I never used them. Which games support them? I only know pokemon and Jump! Ultimate Stars does. Since I have a Supercard (I assume you have one too, because it's not possible to buy DS games in sirael, :p) I always thought it's not possible to play using game codes, but I should give it a try.. so what games support it?
It is frustrating that we will have to wait months to read more ARIA. the fansubbers dropped the project either, so it is completely not available to finish it yet.
Also, Aria's anime is now licensed, and there will be a boxset available for the first season (and it will be quite cheap). I believe I will buy it. (Sorry, I wrote a bit too much)

hehe, yes she is.
I have read aria manga up to volume 3 or 4 and aqua too, and watched all the series (it is my favorite show), but I still think YKK's manga is the finest creation in the slice of life field.
it has a more matured feeling to it, it's a bit hard to explain.
and hehe, about hidamari, at first i didn't really like it, but i started to think it was much better than it initially was only after I finished watching it.
Oh, and did you play Professor Layton and the Curious Village?

Of course I watched the other seasons, I just didn't find the time to finish my list yet, I will get to it later, but thanks :).
Did you watch Hidamari Sketch? It's not as good as ARIA, but it is one of the better Slice of Life series I've seen, you should give it a try if you haven't yet.
There will be a second season soon, too.
