Well basically, the game is free to play but they pretty much demand 30 bucks from you if you want to have a satisfying time with it.
The thing is, there are 6 Picross games on the e-shop that would cost 35 bucks in total and get you 900 puzzles.
Pokémon Picross claims to have 300+ puzzles (though to be fair, it's probably closer to 500 since it has alternative puzzles using the same pictures). Maybe they'll update it later, but right now, that pricing it way too high.
