The funny thing is our school's network is run by the students who also run ResNet. So despite the entire no P2P policy, they're secretly dishing out terabytes of movies, games, etc. But yea, generally you have to find someone who knows of the network and get the address.
Only problem is not many people have currently airing shows on DC++. I managed to grab all of Legend of the Galactic Heroes though. Much better than torrents in that case.
Lolipower, AnimeTake, campus DC++ server, and as a last resort, AniKat.
In an absolute worst case scenario I'll try XDCC. Sometimes it goes through and sometimes it doesn't When it does go through it's limited to 90kB/s so I generally run it before I go to bed.
And yea, UC Santa Barbara. Party School Capital of the west coast. It should be Berkeley and Merced who run on semester calender. I'm not 100% sure about the latter though.
Internet here sucks. That's why I haven't been watching much. Limited to 768MB per day between 1pm and 1am. Anything beyond that results in the 95mbit line being capped to 0.5mbit. It's ridiculous.
And yea, no torrents, no XDCC. I have to rely on DDL or the campus' DC++ server.
Can't wait to move out next year.
But yea, nice to see you again. Although I've spotted you on an off on AIM. Don't really say much while I'm on there anymore.
Been a mod since around the beginning of October. So it hasn't been too long.
Life sucks. Uni is really kicking my ass. Completely bombed the first quarter so now I'm trying to salvage my GPA. Geh.
