This was another one of the truly amazing animes. This has a plus from both worlds, romance and drama to fantasy and action. The overall story was amazing and it all fit together really well. I was very impressed with how the producers managed to fit the subtle romance and school life into the high-paced action of mystical battles and evil plots.

The art was pretty good. They didn't have the best drawings I've ever seen, but the faces weren't all out of proportion either.

The sound was great. I actually have the two title themes and the first ending. The music in the background always seemed to fit in with the surrounding events as well.

The character development is superb. It's clear to see that they grow quite a bit during the series, yet it doesn't just appear from one episode to another. It was very leveled out and well constructed.

My overall enjoyment of the series was easily a 10 (especially episode 13!). I strongly encourage anyone who is slightly interested in this series to check it out. read more

Based on my list, there aren't many animes that can be classified as perfect 10's. There's always a little something that sort of takes away from the enjoyment of an anime. This one most certainly is not the case.

This has every element of an anime that anyone would like. The music is amazing, the character development is superb, and there are numerous twists and turns that really sneak up on you. There are so many times that I would watch an anime and call out events four episodes before it happens. This anime did a wonderful job of keeping the secrets...well, secret and revealing them at the most oportune times to really play on the viewer's emotions.

With great sound and drawings, characters that you can't help but love, and the greatest anime storyline I have yet to see, Kanon (2006) is easily my all time favorite and should be watched by any and all anime lovers! read more

I was truly excited when I saw that this was a continuation into the spring after the winter in Kanon. However, I watched the 2006 version of the series. I noticed this was released before that and thought that maybe it wouldn't matter because it's the storyline I really want to know about, not the graphics, sound, etc.

I hate to say this, being related to Kanon, but it didn't live up to my expectations. It wasn't much of a sequel as it is simply revealing events that weren't shown during the original series. Even then, it's only during one day.

For those that haven't seen the 2006 version, you should be somewhat satisfied with this. As for the others that have, it really isn't worth the time to find and download. read more
