yeah there really is no way of knowning. From the little footage i have seen, it seems interesting enough. I like how they incorporated some new elements into the game such as requiting monsters to aid you in battle.

From what i hear from interviews and reviews though, they have physically stated that Final fantasy XIII-2 is going to address alot of the fans complaints from the previous game. Nomura even stated that in an announcement for the game. They said they are going to focus a much less linear experience and also add in npcs that you can interact with. There making quite a few changes to the battle mechanics as well.

But yeah im not holding my breath until i actually play it. Cause SE has known to let us down countless times. I am more interested in Final fantasy XIII agito, that one seems like it has alot of work poured into it. Also mistwalkers "last story" from hironobu saguchi and Xenoblade from monolith. But who knows when these games are coming out.

The game im probably anticipating the most this year is probably elder scrolls skyrim.
