I'm 23 years old and a graduate of Miami University (of Ohio!). I majored in early childhood education. Things I enjoy are: anime/manga (of course), reading, poetry, playing violin, sleeping, playing on my DS, and baking. And I'm a HUGE David Archuleta fan. <333 I've been watching anime since 1996 (when I was 10) when I first discovered Sailor Moon while flipping channels on my grandparents TV in Canada. I've only been downloading and keeping up with new releases for about 3 years though. I enjoy all types of anime. Well no ecchi type anime though...not for me. But my favorite genres are comedy, romance, and slice-of-life. I've recently become obbessed with supernatural series as well (Ghost Hunt is awesome). I'll watch any mahou shoujo show as long as it has a non-repeitive plot. <3 Feel free to leave a comment on my profile. :)
Other fav. series besides ones listed on the left: Hana Yori Dango, Sailor Moon (3rd season/S is my fav.), D. Grayman, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Saiunkoku Monogatari, NANA, Fruits Basket, Kanon (2006), Clannad, Lovely Complex, Claymore, and Ghost Hunt.
Other favorite characters of mine include Kyon (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), Aizawa Yuuichi (Kanon 2006), Sohma Kisa (Fruits Basket), Shinku (Rozen Maiden), Morita Shinobu (Honey and Clover), and Makino Tsukushi (Hana Yori Dango).
When it comes to manga I'm kinda picky. I tend to only read shoujo manga (xxxHOLiC is an exception since it runs in a seinen magazine ^^;;). Most shounen manga don't interest me. I love shounen anime though...I just can't read it. XD My favorite mangaka include Arina Tanemura, CLAMP, Matsuri Hino, and Natsuki Takaya.
Some of my other favorite seiyuu include: Tomokazu Sugita, Tomokazu Seki, Mamoru Miyano, Paku Romi, and Mai Nakahara.
I'm not a big j-drama watcher but I do enjoy what I have seen. I've completed Hana Yori Dango 1 & 2, Nodame Cantabile, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Honey and Clover live-action movie, Love Com live-action movie, and the first NANA movie. Currently watching the Honey and Clover drama. I plan to watch lots more in the future!

I don't like driving in the snow either since the roads are slippery especially if there is with black ice.
A delay is also nice because I get to sleep in a little longer even though I probably wake up at the usual time to check if there is a delay or no school anyway. LOL

The weather is the same here as well. Hopefully we won't suffer a blackout. :s
I also have a job tomorrow so I hope there will be school tomorrow and if so, I just hope it will be a delay. I've heard that Cleveland may have more than 3 in. of snow tomorrow due to the blizzard coming that way. Maybe the snow will melt before you arrive at Cleveland?

The long-term sub assignment was over before Thanksgiving, but it was good. ^^ I hope your Thanksgiving went well.

I'm fine. There is no school today and tomorrow for elementary and middle schools because parent-teacher conferences so right now I'm relaxing. ^^ I got another long-term sub position as a student aide in a middle school. I don't know how long it would last since it is a week-by-week basis.
I hope you'll enjoy grad school, which reminds me that I still need to apply for that grad seminar. >.>

I know! I was telling the aide (she's a long-term sub) about my dilemma so she told me to go there instead because it's cheap and very easy when she took those courses. Apparently, the professors are very laid-back and you only have to write one paper. :D

Hey! Someone from work today recommend that I should attend this seminar to renew my license. Not only each course is three semester credits, but it's much cheaper than going to grad school. ^^
