Ergo Proxy....
Part of me likes Ergo Proxy, but, nothing really happens in that anime for a while... it turns into a sort of introspective, muti-layered metaphor, where the protagonist is going through delusions or something, I'm not sure exactly but to give you an idea, at the end of each episode, the fan-subbers put at least two pages explaining the jargon used in the show. Sometimes they put it at the beginning too.
It reminds me of how cults are formed, by creating layers upon layers of self-consistent abstract which inhibit perception of either true reality or common reality, and instead, provide a false sense of "enlightenment" which is really your brain on fire.
Since I like Physics, I was sorta interested in it, since it started with stuff like particle colliders... but when I realized that it was really just made-up stuff, much like fantasy or magic, I lost interest.
Come to think of it, that's also why I don't like TTGL so much... but at least I can skip through TTGL, and it even had a recap episode in episode 6, already, meaning I could have skipped the first 5, eh?

Well, I just spent a good while trying to add in everything I could remember, but I can't remember dates and it goes back years, but, varies a lot....
I just discovered, for example, that I have Zombie Loan (which I had finished watching, I think, I just glanced at episode 11 and it looks familiar) and also Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann , in a pile of discs hangoing aroudn gathering dust... also found Ergo Proxy, but, you know, I refuse to watch that super-weird stuff anymore.
Anyhow, yeah, I feel like an amateur but I'm trying to remember stuff I watched and write some more reviews, esp. for classics like Golgo 13 that hand none!

Oh yea same here, same here. I'm always in my head even when I'm with friends. People are starting to think that I'm really rude when I don't listen to them but I just have a major zoning out problem and I like to think about things a lot. Usually when I tell myself not to zone out and to pay attention, I start remembering that one time I zoned out, where I was, what I was doing and what I was thinking about....so it just goes into this never ending cycle >.>
Sometimes if people set numbers in front of me, I'll start doing random math problems in my head (I like math btw) like the other day when I was eating lunch at the dinner table I saw an old coupon for Knott's Berry Farm and I just started thinking how many hours it would take for me to go if I worked for $8/hr....and then I started thinking about places I would like to work....there is no hope for me lol
Maybe its cuz of being introverted, idk. It seems kinda likely though. Us introverted people do like to keep our minds to ourselves :P

(if it makes you feel any better, I do that sometimes too xD I try to cover my mouth when that happens though so it doesn't look like im some kind of psycho hahaha....not sure if it makes me look even more psycho though but atleast it makes me feel better xD)

Well, I personally prefer Shion no Ou because it's shorter and has the elemnts of mystery in it, while Hikaru no Go is a complete story about a boy playing Go. However, I can't say I don't like Hikaru no Go, because I love Go game myself, and I'm not really into Shogi. Hikaru no Go and Shion no Ou are both great in their own ways, however, for most of people Shion no Ou would be better, 'cause there are many people who think that Hikaru no Go is boring because "nothing happens".
I really can't choose, but I'd say that Shion no Ou is slightly better, but I can't underestimate Hikaru no Go iether. It's not much of help. Shion no Ou and Hikaru no go are both awesome and pwnsome anime and they both deserve higher place than Bleach, Naruto and One Piece all together in my opinion.
