The only reason why i'm writing this review is to bash on 1 character in this anime, and for those who've watched this probably know who i'm referring to: and that character is none other than Makoto Itou, the main character of the story, and might i add one of the biggest bastards in the history of anime..!
Story: This is wut i'd like to call a psychological twisting of sexual relationships of sorts..the story is simple enough: the bastard Makoto forges a temporary relationship with a hot chick named Katsura. He breaks up with his new girl w/o telling her and falls in love with
...
his classmate Sairenji. Makoto and Sairenji engage in a forbidden love triangle of sorts only to be discovered by Katsura and things get really ugly from there on.. now u will see lots of relationship twisting and sets u up for the final episode where divine retribution befalls the despicable Makoto
Art: its not bad, good enough to watch until the very end.. but i've seen better animation than this
Sound: not as good as the art sort of mediocre and not too breath-taking..
Character: As i mentioned before this is where i will make my biggest criticism. The main guy and playboy Makoto who i hate with a burning passion, basically signaled me to almost drop this anime.. and i'm so dead serious.. its because of him i stopped watching after the fifth episode and dropped it long before, but i forced myself to watch this until the very end and i was satisified with the end. All the girls seem to be insane in my personal opinion. i know its just an anime, but if situations like this became actual reality a showdown might actually be worthwhile to display on the jerry springer show..The girls were way too easy and forgiving with the bastard, and i can't logically think why any girl would actually fall for this prick.. OMFG i hate the main character so MUCH!!!!! btw that explains the 2 score..
i really felt sorry for Katsura though..she's such a gentle sweet and compassionate girl and she gets toyed with an unforgivable and selfish bf who only thinks about sex and pleasure for himself w/o caring about anybody else..Katsura is the only character that i liked, other than that i hated everyone else..the rest can burn in hell..
Enjoyment: i have to admit everything was set up for the last episode which was the saving grace of this anime..i can't say i liked the story that much but with so much mental complexions the reader gets from watching its difficult to endure watching at certain pts
Overall: Decent, very Psychological and harem type anime? one gay guy surrounded by lots of women? too much drama i'd have to say but i give sympathy pts to katsura..nothing too worhtwhile to mention and might i say disturbing last episode..

Its been a while since I've written a review on this site so bear with me just a little bit..
Strawberry Panic is a yuri anime~basically its a girl to girl love type story with a hint of lesbianism mixed together. Not that i have any complaints against that, since its my first time watching a yuri anime i was like WTF at first, but the anime was actually better than i thought it would turn out to be. Now on with the reviews:
Story: The story was honestly not the best factor of the series, but it is an interesting one. It revolves around the main
...
protagonist Nagisa Aoi, her transfer into Astraea Hill Girl's Academy, and the relationship she forges with her schoolmates inside the academy. There are 3 schools total: the Spica Academy, Le Rim, and finally Miator(the school Nagisa is in). Over the course of her time inside the school, Nagisa encounters many fellow students who she eventually develops good relationships with along with her fellow dorm roommate and friend Tamao. Because the story is not very solid, and doesn't really have a centralized plot it tends to waver and confuse the audience which explains why i won't give it higher than a 7.
Art: As expected of Madhouse, the art was actually very well-designed and developed. Although it wasn't the greatest artwork ever, its still really good for a yuri anime. The background sceneries, the characters, the Strawberry dorms, and the school itself were drawn well and had good use of coloring to top it off. For some reason the art reminds me of some classic paintings from the past with vibrant and rich textures to blend in altogether.
Sound: The music i thought was pretty decent. I only liked the OP theme from episodes 1-13 and it was very catchy, i even have it on my Ipod. The ending themes were not very good and were just a turnoff for me. Although
some of the piano music played by Nagisa and Shizuma were really good. Nothing too much to say here..
Character: I do love the characters in this anime quite a bit, however i was somewhat disappointed by the fact that they didn't quite explain each of the characters in detail, so it was kinda vague in that sense. The only characters that had stories to them were Nagisa (our heroine) and Shizuma Hanazono. Shizuma I thought had the most emotional story out of all the characters, and i thought she was the most developed character in the series.. when you watch episodes 17-19 the real reason behind her emotional facade shows in detail and its really quite compelling. As for the other characters, like Tamao, Rokujou, etc..the characters weren't explained well and it left things hanging at times. Nevertheless, the characters expressed various emotions, feelings for each other, and might i add very kawaii in a good sense. Here you will see where the yuri fits in:
Nagisa and Shizuma
Amano and Hikari (Great couple I might add!)
Enjoyment: I really enjoyed the series it was definitely a good series to watch. At first i was a bit skeptical about watching this but after reading the light novel, I just felt that i had to watch the anime and it didnt disappoint. I've enjoyed it maybe you might too. I'm actually not a big fan of yuri, but there wasn't that many sex scenes in the series which was actually good.
Overall: an 8/10 i give it. Strawberry Panic isn't for everyone..you will either like it or not like it that's all i can say, but my recommendation is read the light novel first to get an idea wut the story is like, then watch the anime or vice versa. But for me i've enjoyed it to the point where i might watch it again in a future date.

For those of you who haven't finished watching the first season..watch that first and come back and watch the second season. That way the story wll connect together and piece itself quite easily. (just a friendly reminder)!
Shakugan no Shana II is a great anime to watch for those who wants action and some romance combined with it. Story revolves around the main characters Yuji, who is the male protagonist and is also the central character for the story's development. He is a Mystes, a dead sentient being who is kept alive with the power of existence (flame of life). He is also the most unusual
...
of the characters (this is due to the special artifact inside him, the reiji maigo that replenishes his power of existence every midnight). With this ability he can rejuvenate his life-force, and still live as an ordinary citizen though he is actually dead in real-life.
Shana, the female protagonist is also the main lead of the story and a kick-ass flame haze. (Flame Hazes are powerful individuals who work under a secretive organization known as "Outlaw," and the flame hazes' duty is to keep the world in balance by making sure powers of existence are still existent on the planet.) She is a powerful fighter who wields a flame sword (nietono no shana). FYI: Shana was named after her sword by Yuji. Her job is to fulfill her duties as a flame haze while protecting Yuji, the bearer of the reiji maigo, although it is revealed she is harboring strong conceptual feelings for him later in the story. (Romance kicks in)!
Story: 8/10
Not a bad story, but needs more development in the central plot. It seemed very rushed at certain points of the episodes, but decent storyline was put in play.
Art: 9/10
Nicely done artwork. Its not too heavily pixelated but the characters had some i guess watercolored features which is actually good because it provides deeper textures in the background of the city and the environment. Characters looked very traditional, and fashioned with good works of art.
Sound: 10/10
This is where Shakugan no Shana deserves the praise and admonition as an anime series!! Songs are performed by Japanese band artist Mami Kawada, and her songs are killer-good! EX: Hishoku no Sora (intro song)-this was intro from first season, Triangle, and Joint from second season ending theme song. All songs performed by Mami Kawada. Perfect 10/10 for masterpiece in soundtrack!
Characters: 10/10
This falls somewhat in the category of the artwork I described, but the characters overall in general have great features. Characters voice acting was performed well, and many of them had loveable personalities/characteristics. The only character I found irritating was that annoying, obnoxious nutty professor who always seems to get his plans ruined by the flame hazes.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I loved it. It was similar to my enjoyment of Fate Stay Night, but nowhere as near as good. Gets a 10 for satisfaction for viewer audience, and the rewatch value I'd have to say is pretty high in my books.
Overall: 9/10
Great anime series! Enjoyable, loveable, everything in between!

There is absolutely no reason why I will not give Fate Stay Night any lower than a 10. In my opinion it is the ultimate anime series! Intense fight scenes, awesome characters, great story, and pure satisfaction from beginning to end! It was definitely my #1 favorite anime show.
Fate Stay Night revolves around the life of Emiya Shirou and the enigmatic battle between 7 magi and their powerful servants. These servants called eirei, are legendary heroes who are called forth to aid their magician masters in the Holy Grail War every 10 years. This is just a brief overview of the story, but it was
...
just an amazing piece of work and effort.
The story was interesting, the artwork was neat, character development was well-done and the overall enjoyment of this series is not to be underestimated. Fate Stay Night is truly a masterpiece for anime lovers. If you haven't watched it I strongy recommend that you do!

This is an anime series that I don't think I'll forget in a long time. It may seem a little confusing at first, but you'll understand it more when you watch it a few more times. The story goes with an arc feature which segments the main character's lives and development as they progress along and familiarize with other people.
Air was visually beautiful and has a wonderful storytelling setting. It was narrated in the viewpoint of the main character Yukito, and how his life was changed by one girl. Its a very good anime with an awesome storyline, but like I said confusing at
...
first view. It may take a while to completely understand the story in detail. Its a sad story, but worthwhile to watch. Definitely watch it and see for yourself!
