I supply long lists in descending order of my personal preference in an effort to illustrate the fact that there is far, far more than the handful of popular titles that get kicked around over and over. I list those I wasn't particularly impressed with because my taste is not the same as everyone else.

There isn't a lot of romance in FMA: B but it is made very clear that there is a real connection between Ed and Winrey and some attention is given to Mustang and Hawkeye but not a lot. I think you will be very satisfied with the conclusion of FMA: B.

I loved FMA 1 and was very skeptical with a remake so soon after the first. Seven years really isn't all that long when it comes to re-makes. But, I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed it even more than the first. Manga readers were particularly pleased with the way it followed the source material. The first few eps will feel like a review of the first but then it kicks into high gear and takes you on a whole new ride with characters you love as well as new ones to embrace. It was one of those where I wanted to know how things turned out but still didn't want to end.
