Rather than try and impress you with my wit and charm in the space of a tiny profile blurb that most likely will never be read by a single soul, or describe my state of existence in grand metaphysical terms as you stare at your computer screen angered and perplexed by the inanity of it all, I think I'll just tell you how it is: I am a person, much like many other people out there and quite unlike many others. I sit around and watch anime and play video games, and generally find my life driven by them through any number of means. I have dreams for the future, as you likely do as well, but find myself unable or unwilling to motivate myself to escape from the quagmire that describes the lives of so many others in their early twenties.
I try not to discriminate on the basis of genre, and I will watch practically anything once (often twice), so feel free to suggest anything to me, and I'll certainly try to watch it. I started watching anime in earnest sometime in mid-2005, although I had a passing interest before that time. In that time I feel I have covered a fair bit of ground, both in sheer numbers as well as having a survey of the growth of anime, from its earliest years to the present day.
So, if you feel like talking anime or video games, and for some reason think I'm the sort of person to do it with, feel free to message and/or friend me, in whatever medium you prefer. I'll be here, and I probably won't have all that much else to do. =3

Many thanks to Alwerien for the claim banner.

Hey, the next episode of K-ON! is up, if you haven't had a chance to get it already.
Also, I just finished watching the first episode of Higashi no Eden--it was totally awesome, you definitely gotta check it out.

Yeah, I think I'm going to (finally) finish watching Clannad. I also want to watch Full Metal Panic 2nd Raid. Also, we should watch Terra e... while you're down here (if you haven't finished watching it yet). Oh yeah, new Soul Eater: fucking sweet. The new ending is really intense.
Spring break is the 21st to the 29th, I believe. Give me a call tomorrow sometime and we'll talk about what's going on.

Oh man, almost 500 series watched.
In other news, what should I watch that's coming out after I catch up on Soul Eater?

Lol I assumed not many people would have an awful lot to say to that ^_^
The greatest thing in saying what I did was that at the same time I confirmed what I said (at least to myself anyway). In typing that stuff I was inclined to delete it immediately, however shortly after this feeling faded and it almost seemed as if I hadn't said what I did. Look, even in what I've typed now I've subconsciously (I only just looked back over it) edited any mention of what I said, strange in that it will be typed directly below this comment.

You have a few interesting points(in both the 'numb' forum and my feminist blog), and I agree that it is huge social pressures on not just females but also males that leads to general mishaps. I myself am a product of what my parents consider a healthy relationship. I've been raised to be an efficient buyer of objects, mostly objects I have a slight affection for. Usually ones who's mothers have been particularly diligent in their indoctrination process. Shit I bet right now my mum is teaching my sister how to most effectively sell herself to the highest bidder, some guy who will base the relationship entirely off physical preferences. Unfortunately they won't discover that a 'love' based on physical affection will never go any further than that, until it's too late of course. I like to think this doesn't happen, that's what gets me through. It's a survival reflex I guess, to forget the bad and remember the good... ^_^

Well, I really enjoy the darker atmosphere that it had. Part of the reason I really liked it over more story-oriented RPG's like Chrono Trigger (which was still great for what it had to offer).
Although I was only three when it came out (1993), I have read it had a lot of innovation that has been overlooked because of more popular releases. Like the POV during battle scenes.

I just about jumped for joy! It is so rare that I find anyone who has even heard of 7th Saga. Granted, I don't spend a lot of time talking to people.
