This show is a great mixture of mystery and slice of life. i believe thats why it is so appealing to a lot of people includeing myself.
i really enjoyed this anime all the way through, i was hooked after just a few episodes and it became harder and harder to wait for each episode every week. this anime does a great job of creating interesting but subtle mysteries along with developing characters that we can all relate to. it is compilation of multiple multi-episode arcs as well as 1 episode arcs and each will have you eagerly awaiting the conclusion while you also create one of your own. This show became one of my favorites and i would definitely recommend watching it
this is a great show to watch if you are looking for an anime with a club/school, small group of friends, subtle romance or most importantly mystery. read more

Who is Vash the Stampede? That single question is the fuel for the story of Trigun. While his identity is unknown, his legend is unmatched. As you learn of his past and make predictions about his future, that question will guide you on a fantastic journey through the desert with the mysterious 60 billion$$ man.
Story 10/10
Trigun is usually put in the category of "must watch in your anime life" and I completely agree. This story is great because of the shift in pace and attitude. It starts out slow and with a lot of stupid humor, but once the main story kicks in it is a road towards the real Vash and his true destiny. People who drop this series in the first 5 episodes, I ask you to strongly reconsider because you haven't even touched the real story of Trigun. I don't want to spoil anything but the characters and events the are introduced will have you yearning for more.
Characters 10/10
The character development in Trigun is outstanding, focusing on Vash, Milly, and Meryl. I love how the relationship between the three of them develops and how you learn about all of their backrounds. As well as the comic relief that they bring when the show can get emotionally down.
Art 8/10 Sound 8/10
The art is great for its time but it is old school and many people find it unattractive. Some things can be inconsistent at times, like dimensions and angles, but I personally thought that the rough old style fits perfectly with the desert setting.
SFX and music in this show are great as well. The music fits in perfectly with the setting allowing you to really feel the mood they want to establish. As well as the OP guitar riffs preparing you for action and the soothing ending wrapping up the eventful episode.
Overall 9/10
In total this show is very enjoyable with a thoughtful and emotional story and a wide variety of character personalities. Episode after episode you will find yourself falling in love with Vash and encouraging him through his struggles as he crosses the desert; while both Vash and yourself look for the answer to the question, who is Vash the Stampede... read more

OK this is my first review so here it goes,
One Piece(OP) is a fantastic story about friendship, hard work, determination, and chasing your dreams. This show was one of the first animes that i ever watched and inspired me to continue watching anime. If you like idiotic humor, kick-ass action, and a touching story with very lovable characters, One Piece is the show for you.
Story 10/10
This story is all about the voyage of Monkey D. Luffy as he gathers up crew members and they experience many trials that will test their friendship and ultimately deepen their bond as they sail across the Grand Line. I love how this story develops early on as the original members are acquired. Not only are they accompanying Luffy and aiding him on his journey, but they are also chasing their own dreams as well.
Now, about the oh so familiar fillers, compared to the other long running animes OP isn't jammed packed with fillers. In the beginning it moves pretty fast but as it catches up to the manga the story definitely slows in pace. Although there are less fillers, they are present but i found them to be very enjoyable. There are multiple filler arcs that last for multiple episodes but they fit in perfectly with the story. The reason these arcs are so enjoyable are because of the characters.
Characters 10/10
The main characters of OP are definitely my favorite part about the show. They all have great personalities that compliment each other. There are the idiot comic relief members, the voice of reason members, the bad-ass members, and the weak/support type characters of the crew. I'm not going to sit here and say that i love every character every episode; i've had my fair share of times were each has angered me in the way. But it's that exact feeling that makes you fall in love with the crew. Just like our own friends we have all had times when we hated our friends and its times like those that help friendships grow to be even stronger then before. The ups and downs of the crew as they grow to be closer nakama (a term VERY often used in the show) will have you yearning for more as you begin to hope for their dreams as much as they do.
Sound 10/10
Music is also a huge part of OP and adds a lot to the overall feel of the show. First off the opening songs for the show never disappoint and i find the opening to set the mood and can get you pumped each episode in a season. Not only are the opening songs fantastic, but each character has his own theme music. Each character has his or her own BGM that play when its his/her time to shine.
Art 9/10
OP's art is good and unique, that being said i still think it is a step down from other popular series (like Naruto or Bleach). By no means is it bad, i find its subtle uniqueness to be very appealing if you're looking for something a little bit different. I enjoy watching and couldn't imagine the characters portray any other way.
Overall 10/10
I love this show and it is definitely one of my favorites. It is a great shounen battle and i highly recommend it to anyone willing to take the 500+ episode leap. As someone who watched 415 episodes basically nonstop and has been watching it weekly ever since. It is never too soon, and never too late, to take the journey with Luffy and his crew across the Grand Line on a rollercoaster of emotion for the ultimate treasure ONE PIECE. read more
