Yes! finale of season one of HSDxD was satisfying! Ahaha I definitely share the same opinions as you when it comes to the character arts. They were very vibrant and their looks actually did fit their personality!
(oh btw this is a response for your review lol)
If you ever want to check out a similar show, I suggest Rosario Vampire because it is on your list by the way! IF you find Issei and Rias' moments cute, you'll definitely find this show to be super cute aha. On the other note, something I would REALLY recommend that's not on your list is Shuffle! Let me tell you, every episode from that show got me dying on the inside. There were SO many cute moments and it's GAH, so CUUTE. Make that a priority to watch ;) it won't fail to amaze you. And if you're not a big fan of dubs, the dub wasn't bad at all. I'm planning to watch it in subs the next time I revisit it.
Just a quick rundown on those two shows. Shuffle cute moments > Rosario Vampire cute moments. Also, R+V's storyline wasn't even great but those cute moments made up for it. Shuffle! on the other hand was amazing in all departments. The characters, their voices, the story, everything! So come check it out sometime.
