Okay, well, hmm... I definitely recommend Honey & Clover, it's great for anyone - most people rate it 9 or 10. Since you like Death Note so much, I think you'd like Paranoia Agent and Serial Experiments Lain (chaos/philosophical like DN). For romantic comedy, Lovely Complex is a must. You don't seem like the kind of person that would like Naruto, but maybe give it a try? Oh, and Samurai Champloo~
