I was very pleased with this movie. I was kind of expecting another "Spirits Within" (which sucked), but this actually stuck to the Final Fantasy world and feel. The story was new and creative, so as not to bore the ones who have played the game before. Even if you haven't played the game it shouldn't be too hard to understand the story. The graphics were amazing. So detailed and great quality. I can only imagine how much work it took to complete this movie. You can tell it was definitely not half-assed. That in itself makes the movie worth watching. I liked the new read more

I have nothing personal against this anime or people who like it...but...I didn't think it was very good at all. It was completely underdeveloped: the story, characters, everything. And it seems little effort was put into it. Not that you can expect a lot from a two episode show, but they could have done better than THAT. It wasn't put together well enough for me to get anything out of it. Maybe that's why they call it an OVA, 'cause you're supposed to play the game first, but still...At least with other OVAs I'm able to get the gist of the story and enjoy them read more

I'm constantly hearing people say how this is a rip off of Naruto, but it most definitely isn't. It may be based on the Japanese ninja background like Naruto, but Nabari no Ou has a very different feel to it. It seems more serious and gets to the point quicker (not to say that makes it better or worse than Naruto). I would have rated it a ten out of ten if I were only halfway through the episodes, but seeing as I was quite disappointed with how it ended I am giving it an eight. The story looked very promising and unique in the read more

Don't get me wrong, this was a good oneshot manga, but I wasn't expecting it to be so historical. I guess having to read all the text was a bit boring for someone like me. It was like reading a history text book more than anything else. However, I think it's a very interesting and well put together was of representing the relationship of Afghanistan and the countries involved in it's history.
If you want to learn about the history of Afghanistan, this manga is for you. If you're not interested in that, you might want to skip this (or just read the panels and skip read more
