I love both manga and anime, i've been watching and reading for a couple of years now. The first think I saw was Princess Monenoke, BLEW MY MIND! I've adored Miyazaki films ever since, I own almost all of them *sob* I shall not rest until I own the last couple I'm missing! *sob*
But I'm a complete manga parasite, I own practically no manga whatsoever, I constantly borrow from my endlessly patient friends

actually i've only seen the anime... but i read some the manga...
lucky star is basically a slice of life anime... their really isn't any point to it...kinda like Azumanga Daioh... and its basically about four school girls Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa, and Miyuki... its actually pretty funny...
