About inzaratha
I have been writing an epic fantasy novel, "The Stone + The Feather" for more years than I had hoped and as I'm am an artist now starting doing it as a graphic novel as well. I originally came up with it while riding my horse in the woods as a kid.

My art site

I have some other ideas I would like to make into graphic novels so I am currently working on learning how to use computer graphic art programs. I get held back by computer memory and time as I work a lot of hours full time and read a lot too. I do my best thinking while doing something else at the same time, like coming up with story ideas while riding, or listening to music, or doing artwork while watching shows. I'm an introvert and a lot better at writing and being online than I am with actually talking to people...

I am a big fan of Stargate SG 1 and Atlantis, and other sci-fi shows like Serenity/Firefly, Smallville, Supernatural, etc and love martial arts movies and medieval settings.

Interests include reading manga, sci-fi and fantasy, martial arts, horses - equestrian, art, music, anime and movies

or anything with good looking guys fighting. :)

I have college BA's in both fine art and history. I especially like the Black Death and the Renaissance.

I have trained horses professionally, worked in a museum, taught horse sculpture in a museum, owned an art gallery, worked in a library and in schools.
For a career now, I work with troubled teens/ juvenile delinquents in a locked residential school-
Think of it like Hogwarts meets reform school in the desert. with a tan

I like to write, draw, read and explore places either mentally or psychically and spend a lot of time online cause I don't sleep and usually busy cause I have a brain that does not shut off. I also drink lots of coffee and tea.
My favorite authors are Tolkien, Tad Williams, Mercedes Lackey, Terry Goodkind, Terry Prachett and Ayn Rand, Edgar Allen Poe, Ray Bradury, Robert Frost.
Currently taking Korean karate - Kukyidou and Judo.
In the future I would like to learn to read and or speak Japanese and Korean but I'm not much of a speaker, even in English I'm better at writing than talking. But I would like to know the language, even if I never actually speak to a human in it. My second language is French. I enjoyed learning obscure languages like elvish or runes too.

I listen to a lot of music. Favs include Nightwish, Apocalyptica, HIM, Versailles, Linkin Park,Within Temptation, Amorphis, Bach, the Gazette - metal, classic and celtic and visual kei I like music that is actually good musically.

My music radio

I have a long term relationship with a musician.
his band/ songs - Luminatus (symphonic metal if you like Evanescence or Nightwish check it out)

Webtoons - I like a bunch of ones not on MAL.

I'm reading a Korean novel in translation called "The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor" More recently I've watched some dramas -before I mostly watched Lots of martial arts movies, my list includes 49 days, Boys Over Flowers, Secret Garden, City Hunter, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, You're Beautiful, My Love From Another Star, The Heirs, Heartstrings, Rooftop Prince, Faith, Arang and the Magestrate, Flower Boy Next Door, Angel Eyes, Trot Lovers, Myung Wol the Spy, Coffee Prince, Postman to Heaven, Mary Stayed Out All Night, Full House, My Lovely Girl, currenly Modern Farmer etc.

I actually started watching some anime and martial arts as a little kid cause my best friend was a half-Japanese boy with a talking pet crow, but he returned to Japan. (I know sounds like some weird manga but my life is weirder...) I got into it again later from fantasy / sci fi and then discovered 7 years ago or so I really enjoyed reading shoujo and a lot of others. It's the perfect blend of art and story and I'm addicted to manga. lol
I have a lot of series that I love reading, and I enjoying discussing chapters with people as the people irl that I know don't read what I read, hence online.

Yes I unabashedly do enjoy shoujo! Which is odd because I am not very feminine mentally. I like romances and fantasy, supernatural stories, mysteries, but I also like to read seinen, josei and some shounen, crime dramas etc. I prefer reading over watching, but when I watch anime my preferences are different from my reading ones, I prefer more action and supernatural or fantasy or mystery and slice of life to watch.

Right now I am trying to complete more of the ones on my too huge list!
for my geeky and other interests

Me too! I can't wait for holiday season! >.<

I had to get used to its artwork first. But I was a bit confused in the time travel :o many things happened and my head was spinning xD it was cute to see young kagetora falling in love with benni :D

Oh I see I see! that's an interesting story. Maybe I'll give a try one more time! :D and what will they do after discovering their enemies in the present?

I hope it won't! It would break my heart even if I like Suwa as well. But I just don't want to see Kakeru to die again D: btw, the story is going so well that I'm a bit scared that something can go wrong again x.x

Yeah! xD it's funny now that you told me this :p but it's a shame that her characters look alike :p

I discovered yesterday Oresama Teacher and Gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun have the same author. That's definetly a plus for me! :D

I see, my friend also watches from her big plasma Tv xD you shoul read noragami manga as well! it's really good! more romance :D

Why not watch on PC? it's faster :(

You must read! one of the bests!! >.<

I'm watching Nanatsy no taizai, cross ange, SAO II, shingeki no bahamut, ookami shoujo..., and others :)
Hirunaka no Ryuusei ended! I read the raw and I don't like the ending.... D:

And you?

Male Character Competetion Update News

Tengai | 11-21-14, 11:55 PM
Yeah~ Well, that's really nice. Good luck with it. Ah yes, I actually prefer traditional drawing using pencils etc.

SAO would have been much better if they separated the first story and the second story. Oh, I see. That is what I was supposed to do, too, but unfortunately, I don't have the money, yet. That's awesome!! I see, Netflix must be really cool, then. As for me, I just prefer the original, always.
Yeah, there is :D

Gal3riel | 11-21-14, 1:02 PM
hei how are you ^^? i read your post but i couldn't' answer sooner nice to see we have similar points of view :)) i'm not very active lately, busy with work, but i'm still reading Devil defense ^^ and a few more ongoing and i'm planning to start vagabond ^^.

rothrock | 11-21-14, 12:04 AM
Finally started FMA :D watching the old one first! I admit I cried the first few eps ;v; I can't wait for Brotherhood. I get a pretty cosy feeling watching old anime and this is going well for me!

for work? I was meaning a magazine or so...
You are right - there are many stories where the second guys better. And it's sad when from the start you just know with whom she will be in the end... I'd like for it to happened in more natural way but... and the second guys are just a useful move of the author not the actual person (in many stories). Or author just will make him going out with someone else for a happy ending.
You don't like shounens for its obvious plot/characters?

Oh, I see what case a reason for you to make a backups. I feel sorry for sites and you (for the time you spent on recovering lists). I'd never really thought about the possibility of disappearances of the Myanimelist. I'd like to have a backup but it's too late. Though I remember most of my titles. Part of them I really remember and another part I'll remember if I see a cover/scan. And the last part is not important if I'll forget manga. So I won't lost so much if a MAL will goes down someday. It would be totally uncomfortable but not unbearable.

I also reading Story of Someone We Know, Cheese in the Trap (it was good), Westwood Vibrato.
I read many webtoons but currently I'm looking only after a few of them. The other ones I'm just not feeling well/good/right to continue read it now... may be later... so it's save you from big list of different titles.
So: Pine in the Flower Garden, Godly Bells, Fisheye Placebo and Black Haze.
There are many webtoons now so I'm not sure If you know these titles. And actually I'm reading Cheese in the Trap in Russian (because english translation was frozen by the author long ago) and I met the Pine in the Flower Garden first time in Russian. + Amber (i met it only in russian)

It's cool to have a famous architect's buildings in your city. it's a living example)
WOW! It's sounds great! And it's definitely must be rude of me to ask you If you can/want to show me your sculpture. If you won't show it I'll understand. ;) I was in love with horses in my childhood and still loves them.
Your words made me sad because it's a truth. It's hard for your life/living choice to have sculpture/painting . It's unstable work. And you're alone at it.
I think it's cool that you are very independent.
Yeah, architect can't be alone because it's a big responsibility. One person can't do anything. He needs different professionals to help him to make a project and another company to build it. It's a more stabile choice of life (if some company will take me)... but I'm not looking for it... Though I think life will force me to have a 'proper' job.
You are right - books with art is more reliable.

Yes. Mushishi Zoku Shou (2014) and the third (!) Mushishi Zoku Shou 2 (2014 -). I didn't know about third season...
Because the real FMA ending you can see in film - Conqueror of Shamballa)))
Each are great in their own way. It just mine preference of the first season.

Good luck with that!
History is very big and it's hard to learn all of it) Each continent and country have it's own history. And there are too much wars...
I'm fine with that too because we didn't met this person or read about his personality (if there are documents about it) to argue with author's decisions.

Am I mistaken or there are only a few chapters of Diamond Dust?
Oh, I totally wrong. There were a few chapters long ago. I didn't noticed how much of time passed and it's already complete story...
I agree with it. It's sad that Otoyomegatari is so slow in ongoing... but maybe it only an addition to its charm - the story itself not hurries anywhere.

Male Character Competition Updates:

Stray_Star | 11-19-14, 2:12 AM
Hi! Honestly don't worry about it! I understand completely! See I'm late as well! I'm trying to find some sort of balance between work, school and French lessons but so far I've been failing spectacularly!
I really liked the anime of Fruits Basket but it doesn't hold a candle to the manga! It leaves out so much including who Tohru ends up with and the ending is so touching and emotional!
I loved Ouran but the anime ending was so abrupt. They still could have made a second season when the manga was finished. Oh well I suppose I'll have to read the manga to find out exactly what happens.
As I told you I was really disappointed by the anime of VK so I don't think I'll be reading it any time soon. I cheated and read the ending and quite frankly I was so angry at Yuki. I mean she didn't choose Zero, she just ended up with him because Kaname wasn't around! And it is implied that she slept with him and that her daughter was his! Talk about disgusting! And if incest is ok between pureblood vampires wouldn't that also make it ok for the awakened Kaname to be with his daughter as well? I was repulsed! Not to mention that the mangaka gave Yuki no choice in the matter! Zero was clearly the best choice from the beginning but when she had to choose in the anime she ran off with her brother...
UnTouchable sounds great I'll be sure to check it out! I'm behind in my reading as well mostly when it comes to Last Game. I'm also behind in some ongoing anime I've started both because of the computer that I recently got back and because of how busy I am now. Isn't it ironic that I have the computer now that I practically have no time to use it?
Akatsuki no Yona is awesome! I haven't read the manga but the anime is really good so far! I've heard so many people comment on Yona's character development and it is indeed impressive and in no way forced. NG Life is great and it places emphasis on the characters as well.
I've taken a look at QQ Sweeper and it seems like a lot of fun too.
Orasema Teacher sounds downright hilarious! I'll probably give it a go once I'm done with Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun.
Rose of Versailles is in my humble opinion one of the best (if not the best) historical anime/manga out there. Plus it has top productiuon values for its time though I should probably warn you that it is quite tragic at times.
I loooove historical ones when they 're done right! That's probably 'cause I'm a bit of a history nerd myself. I've read Hana to Akuma and loved it mostly because of the beautiful bittersweet ending! I believe the endings play a huge part about how much people enjoy an anime/manga etc because an open ending or worse a sucky one might leave a bitter aftertaste since apart from the highlights the ending is what people mostly remember. I haven't read Yumi no Kishidan but I took a look and OMG it has a female knight as a protagonist! I'm already in love! Kuroshitsuji is actually the first anime I watched as an adult when I started again in 2011. I've been hooked ever since!
I've heard about Last Exile and I just put it on my ''plan to watch'' list. I'd never heard about You're Under Arrest but I googled it and it seems awesome (off it goes on my ''plan to watch'' list as well).
Both FMA versions sound great but Brotherhood seems amazing! It is really strange that I have yet to watch any of these considering what I've heard about them and the fact that I currently really enjoy Gin no Saji which is from the same mangaka.
I've started Noragami and it's good so far but it's on hold right now until I finish some others. I wasn't too impressed by Blue Exorcist since it seemed like typical shounen but then again I haven't watched much of it so I might pick it up again in the future. I really liked the movie though! I've read extremely positive reviews about these three shows as well and I've already downloaded them. So many anime/manga I want to watch/read and so little time!
It was nice talking to you as usual!
P.S. Please don't worry about replying in time. Believe me I understand all about being busy and overworked!

Zahraflower | 11-15-14, 9:35 PM
You're welcome. Yes, I do like older Manga and new done well manga as well. I'm currently reading Skip Beat, Akuma to Dolce, Dear (Mitsuki Kako), Oboreru Knife, NG Life, Kuro Bara Alice, Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen, Hana to Akuma, Dengeki Daisy, Orange, Last Game, Akatsuki no Yona, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Ao Haru Ride, Love So Life, Six Half, Suki tte Ii na yo., Taiyou no Ie, Hana-kun to Koisuru Watashi, Hibi Chouchou, and Ore Monogatari!! AbbieT3D2Y | 11-15-14, 6:12 PM
You have also done a wonderful job on your profile I must say too xD

AbbieT3D2Y | 11-15-14, 6:11 PM
Yeah that's me too.

And thank you, it sucks that we can't have more favourites for our profiles.

Tengai | 11-14-14, 3:39 AM
Ah yes, youtube tutorials are great help. Are you just doing all of these because it's your hobby?? You good at photoshop, too??
Yep, that's what almost all people say. Oh, so you buy Anime and Manga, huh. It only occurred to me now that you are already working and not studying. I thought, you are a college student. Ah, Netflix, is it English dubbed?? The season 2 of SAO is currently airing.

Zahraflower | 11-12-14, 6:41 PM
Thank you for accepting my friend request!! You seem like an interesting person and you're right, we have a lot in common on manga/anime/manhua.
