I do want to watch Karekano but I'm scared of the end. Apparently they leave it with a WTFOMG ending. Basicly to sell the manga which continues the story. Still been told it's worth the watch even if this is the case. You'll have to let me know when you get there. Claymore and Berserk did it to me and I've been reading the manga ever since. Heh.
I'll never be threw wiith rom-coms, just gonna take a breather. Soul Eater is getting better and better the more I watch. All it needed was a bit of character development and voila. Also got a few action and psychological animes lined up to watch. I'll let you know how they pan out when I get round to watching them.
Bleach... well now that's a tricky one. I can't remember the amount of times I've been tempted to drop it (same goes for Naruto). Bleach is the bigger issue though. The main story-line is awesome and the big fights are jaw dropping. It's just the GOD DAMN FILLER! Bleach must have a record breaking amount of filler. There must be at least three episodes of filler to it's main story. If you drop it now you will miss out on some awesome episodes but at the same time I wouldn't blame you... infact I'd probably shake your hand and say "your a stronger man than I". lol

Well you told me to let you know when I started on Lovely Complex.
I got threw it in three sittings from Friday threw to Sunday just gone! Very easy anime to watch and I now understand everything you were talking about. The whole anime is totaly devoted to the two mains. Nobody else gets any development really. Didn't think it was required though. It's just the way it was written. Did quite enjoy it though I did prefer School Rumble and Toradora! I gave it 7/10 (though it was a low 7) Which is still good. ^^
I too have Kare Kano to watch now but I've decided to put it aside. Not because I don't want to watch it, but to save it. Like yourself I've been mega rom/com'ing it up as of late. Time for some action/horror esq. anime now. Need a change of genre. I will return however. I can promise that.
Now all I have to do is decide what to watch next. ¬_¬
I guess I have Naruto and Bleach to catch up on.

It's suprisingly easy to make DVD players multi regional actually. Shame you can't make them read Blu-rays too like. Hah. Just google the make of DVD player and somebody out there will know the hack for it. Mite be wise to check before purchasing though, just in case. :P
I will let you know when I have made a start on Lovely Complex. Going to watch it after I finish School Rumble, which is going very well so far. The story started off in a Love Triangle but now it's starting to look more like a love octopus. Mainley based around the comedy with some seriouse undertones. So far it's an 8/10 for me with possibilty of moving to 9. ^^
Soul Eater only finished airing a few months ago so I'm watching it via fansub at the moment. I have a vast amount of DVDs and I watch alot of fansubs too. Alot of people frown at downloading series but I have purchased all my favourites. The only problem I have is that I watch more anime than I can afford. Thus why I have to watch fansubs. It's like an illness lol. Do you purchase all of yours?
I noticed you had Black Blood Brothers listed. It doesn't look like one I'd be too fussed about to be honest. It looks like a "Heat Guy J" kinda of series. I have that in boxset. Something that isn't amazing but easy to stick on. A 6/10 anime perhaps. I dunno, you'll have to let me know.

Problem solved!! I went on the net and found the hack code to make my other DVD player region free. Woop! I took it for a spin last night. So glad I don't have to fork out for a multi-region player. ^___^

Hah, nothing wrong with rom-coms mate. I noticed you'd made a start on Kare Kano. It's one I've been wanting to watch for a while now. I already have Lovely Complex but have yet to watch it. I'm sorry to hear about the animation :( It looked quite sharp to me but then I haven't watched anything but the openeing so far. Shame. Still gonna watch it of course. :P
Yeah the fights and animation are joy to watch in Soul Eater. Gonna have another blast of it tonight when I get settled. It's entertaining at least. I'd have to give it a 6.5 at the moment. I still have 46 episodes to watch like. Hah. First 5 episodes are more introductionary for the characters. Episode 5 actually says that the story only starts here. I'll let you know how it goes.
Suggestion! :P If you like your animated fights, I'm a huge supporter of Gurren Lagann. It's a two series anime with some jaw dropping fights and the story's not bad either. One to keep your eye out for. Full Metal Panic too. Get em watched. ;)
I'm more of a subbed man myself but I'm not scared to try out the dub. I've seen some awfull dubs in the past. School Rumble was highley entertaining from what I saw. Quite zainy, and the Dub isn't too bad either. Everyones voices matched the characters, which is good. Just gotta get a Region 1 DVD player sorted out now. ¬_¬

Gah!! O_O I was going to say "I noticed you started Lovely Complex instead of xxxHolic" but now I can see you've actually completed Lovely Complex. Must have been an easy watch? I can see you gave it a seven. How was it?
I only got 2 episodes into School Rumble before my multi regional DVD player died on me!! The Boxset is a US release so I can't watch it untill I get a new DVD player now!! Dammit! T_T
I hate not being able to watch a series from start to finish! Anyway, nothing I could do so I grabbed the nearest series I had. Just so happened to be Soul Eater that aired earlier this year in Japan. It's ok but nothing to get too excited about. Animation is amazing but the story so far hasn't grabbed my full attention yet. Maybe it will get better... I hope so anyway.

The Santa bit was fried gold mate. Especially when she reallised how she felt about Takasu after he'd left to meet Minorin. Dramatic scenes with great animation. You can't complain really can you. :D
xxxHolic aye? I've had my eye on that one too. You'll have to let me know how that one turns out. :P As for School Rumble, I'm looking fwd to it, but hope it hasn't been over hyped by people. I'm sure it'll be a good watch.

I enjoyed the ending. Very rare you get a good comedy Harem anime that ends with two caharcters actually getting together. Your usually left to ponder. I thought this would have been the same. To be honest, I'd have been happy if he'd ended up with Minori too. She was cool. Gotta love pink hair. Hah. :P
All in all I thought it was a nicely rounded anime. Space for a sequal but could also be left as it is too. Found the characters very likeable and the humour kept me with a smile throughout. I noticed you gave it 7, I nearlly did too but I must have been in a good mood. :P
Be a while off till we see any form of DVD release over here like. ¬_¬
Next on the cards for me is 'School Rumble'. Got the first series boxset last month. Been told many good things about it. What you thinking of moving onto?

Things are ok I guess. Been working my arse off recently. All I'm doing at work is training new starts and solving the problems they have been creating from not knowing what to do. It's been a nightmare.
So much so that, I don't think I've been on AUKN since before you went on holiday. I have been THAT busy. Hopefully, in time, things should level out and I'll be back to the lazy bum I'm suppose to be lol.
I've been watching loads of anime recently though.
Just finished "Bacanno" and "Baccano OVA", beofre that, I watched 20 "Shippuuden" and 20 "Bleach" Episodes and before that, I watched "Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai", "Vampire Knight Guilty" and "Eden of the East".
Been piling it on lol. Don't know why the sudden burst like. Was a long time coming I think.
