paani | 09-02-08, 12:57 PM Waah, I’m so, so, so sorry, I don’t deserve to to be called a human being anymore. ^^’ No seriously, I apologize, it’s not fair, replying after a month O_o My only line of defense is that maaany things happened, including false reservation for a plane from Paris (my, I was SO convinced I was going to sleep in the terminal xD) and spectacular lost of consciousness during school opening ceremony, finished by somewhat annoying hospitalization, yeah ^^’ Geez, I’m sure everybody’s happy that I graduate this year xD But enough of my poor life xDDD How’s your friend doing? She should have finished TRC by now, I guess (eeerm… did I use the right tense? ^^’). I wonder if you two are as bored as I am, ‘cause I’m just disappointed by the flashback chapters. Well, the last two (3?) about Syao were Ok – Clamp started to angst again, which is a good sign – I think we’re close to returning to the original plot (finally >_<). Btw – poor Syao. I saw some theories about him being Reed’s incarnation, or something, I don’t get it O_o And now, I’m not that sure whether Sakura will live through this or not - the whole seal thing makes my perfect ending scheme collapse O_o A DouWata fan, you say? Heh, I don’t get this pairing either, they’re ten times less intense than KuroFay. We were talking about it already, am I wrong? xD But staying with Holic – don’t you think it’s being even more uninteresting than almost-recent TRC chaps? >_< I mean, they’re repeating over and over hoooow muuuch Watanuki changed and how he and Doumeki are good together (their fans must be in heaven, I want the same thing for KuroFay fans, geez >_<) and everything. It’d be okay for one chapter, but there was so many… Have you finished CCS? xD I still can’t believe how cute CCS!Sakura & Syao were ^^ Yaaay, while in Paris I made myself a non-birthday gift and (spending a shitload of money) bought 11 volumes of Holic – French version is the exact copy of the Japanese version, which means *unbelievably* pretty covers, I’m in heaven right now ^^ I also got <…showing off> my hands on TRC and X artbooks, they’re wonderful. I sooo envy French people (but I envy you even more xDDD), they have all these things available, right in their local store ;_; But! Recently I discovered the pleasure of internet shopping and I’m pretty convinced one day I’ll be living on a street because of that xDDD About these TRC volumes, it *really* was an accident, I went to the shop and they just… were there, on a shelf O_o I don’t have an explanation for that, imagine the look on my face. I nearly killed myself running home for money xD Mhm, ‘special person’, and we all know what does it mean in Clamp Dictionary. Fuma/Kamui are as canon as SeiSub = ten times more canonish than any canon available. ^^ Which reminds me - how about Kuro (or Fay) telling everyone about his ‘special person’, huh? >_< Have you heard about delaying the OADs? I can’t waaaait ;_; Ah, and the last thing – do you know the ‘Peacemaker Kurogane’ series? It’s my new love and I’m totally crazy about this. Not anime (it’s ok, though) but manga version, try it, if you have some time, that’s reeeaaaally something. Made by Nanae Chrono - she created Vassalord, which was just plain sexy xD Reply

O_o Re-reading *now* is ok, since I know what happens after the angsty parts, but discovering it for the first time? Hell no. You better watch her closely, so she doesn’t rip the other volumes! xD But I can sympathize - this ‘Good morning, Kurogane’ scene totally freaked me out, I didn’t know whether I should start crying or hit somebody, finally I ended up trembling in front of the screen ^^’ Anyway, take care of your friend! Poor fellow… ^^ CCS!Sakura’s fangirling over Yukito didn’t bother me at all. In fact, it was quite funny when she was going ‘whoooa’ - I felt at ease with her doing that because I knew Yukito’s preferences ^^ Touya involved. xDDD Hahha, it works differently for me. I adore shounen series, because there are hardly any girls involved – therefore it’s easier to slash guys together xDDD Although it’s definitely not the main reason – I’m not such a helpless fangirl yet xD Ehh, that’s *really* annoying o_O Manga gives us plenty of reasons WHY it’s KuroFay & SyaoSaku and WHY it’s invariable. Yet we must deal with these strange FaySaku people O_o Funny thing – the less believable their ideas are, the louder they’re announcing them. I wish Kuro and Fay would do something canonish so they just shut up. [I *generally* wish for some canon, but let’s put my fangirling aside^^] ‘…Syaoran should go die and that Kurogane should go be with Tomoyo’ - hahaha, it’s getting more and more ridiculous. But aren’t they a bit cruel to just sentence Syao to death? O_o KuroSyao bleeeh O_o It sounds like there’s some incest going on. You know, one day I came across a Fay/Syao slash. The very *idea* made me feel strange for couple of hours. I mean – isn’t it totally groundless…? I think that ‘homophobic’ and ‘Clamp fan’ should exclude each other. There are hints of shounen-ai in their (almost) every manga! Not everything is that obvious as guys from Legal Drug or Fuuma licking Kamui’s neck (I nearly had a nosebleed back then xDD) but it doesn’t change the fact, that one must be completely blind to miss that O_o I prefer to be careful with things named after TRC but not made entirely by Clamp, such as handbooks and some weird artbooks. Not that I really have the right to say that – we don’t have *any* TRC-related stuff here in Poland, so I’d take anything if I had a chance xD [hmm… it’s not *that* bad, though – I was able to buy 10 volumes of deluxe Japanese edition in my local store xD But it was an accident xDD] First of all – Kotori stands between Fuuma and Kamui, which bothers me a lot, since I’m a huge F/K fan. There’s no denying they’re kinda obsessive over each other and it’s not simple ‘friendship’ anymore (Clamp themselves said so!). I dunno what it is, though xDDD …ugh, I was supposed to write about Kotori ^^’ So – second – she’s a clueless babe in need, therefore either Fuuma or Kamui must play a babysitter. …and her ‘I’m-good-for-nothing-but-cute-and carrying’ way of life is simply annoying, aaargh. paani | 07-22-08, 1:27 AM I’m the laziest creature in the Universe, I’m so sorry for that O_o Yeah, a whole year ^^ Recently I’ve been thinking about re-reading TRC, because I want to check my reactions concerning Fay – whether I’d be upset and sad (you stated the reasons very accurately , so I won’t be repeating them) or able to enjoy the funny parts – knowing that Fay’s relatively fine now. Yup, really, I don’t like Sakura ^^’ I used to like her in Card Captor (she was so cute!) but TRC!Sakura isn’t my thing. Yet I must admit that I kinda respect her – she’s strong, she can (…and will need to) endure a lot. But I just can’t bring myself to like her xD Well, I usually don’t like ANY female characters, The majority of is annoying and without personality. Or simply brainless O_o Which is one of the reasons why I find yaoi attractive – it’s a waste to pair up a fine male protagonist with some useless chick O_o However, I’d never go against *convincing* ‘true love’ and such – Syao and Saku being a good example. They’re MEANT to be together, so when I hear about slashing Syao with other male charas, it makes me feel uneasy ^^’ …O_o Oh my, It happened again. I tend to write unrelated stuff when I’m not focused enough xDD What I wanted to say is that I agree with you if it comes to Clamp’s girls. They’re somewhat less annoying than any normal female characters (TRC!Sakura and X!Kotori being an exception. GOD, it’s unbelievable how much I hate Kotori O_o). Besides, Clamp created *Yuuko*, and she’s like the best of the best of the… xD I also find Sakura’s relationship with Fay really heartwarming. I’m laughing my ass off at the concept of Fay/Saku pairing, though. All I can see is that they’re parent-child like, comforting and supporting each other. Same goes for Kuro and Syao - in a more ‘manly’ way, naturally (hahha, I came across an idiotic forum thread where some people were actually supporting Fay/Saku, that was plain ridiculous xD) There was no denying it even after Tokyo. ^^ As we agreed earlier, Kuro was keeping it cool for the whole time, yet he lost it when Fay was on the verge of death. It’s funny, btw – if Fay were a girl, EVERYONE would have their marriage planned already. Both of them being guys, half of the fandom yells ‘friendship!’ O_o Aah, furisode! xD Their clothing was really nice, Mokona must’ve gone fangirl to draw something like that xD As for sharing the room – if there wasn’t freakin’ time-lapse thing, I’d quote your words: ‘Ah, possibilities’ ^^ Although I truly hope they had some fun before being made to fall asleep xD I know Horitsuba omakes, they’re great ;) I read them while TRC was all angsty and such, so It was two times more refreshing than normally is xD I love the concept! ‘TC’ handbook?
