I rarely start an anime with any expectation at all, this was the same case for Mob Psycho 100.

I sincerely believe that this is the best way to start watching something, let me insert here the example of One Punch Man, created by ONE, that show was so overhyped that people called Saitama the second coming of Jesus, leaving me thinking it was gonna be super awesome, but it was just OK for me, but then again, different people, different opinions.

Other thing to note is that opposed to OPM, Mob Psycho didn't get "clean artwork" by Murata, just the raw creation of ONE, leaving a ... lot of people skeptical to how the art and animation would be, and let me tell you this, it's beyond amazing.

Mob contains amazingly fluidly animation, especially during the epic fights sequences, and there's quite the number of them, and the average animation is also pretty notable due to the unique artstyle, the colors are vibrant and colorful yet ominous and dark at more serious scenes, making it quite remarkable for me.

The cast is filled with diverse characters, with pretty fleshed out personality if I might say so myself, I find myself laughing with almost every episode, and this doesn't even happen oftenly with other popular comedy animes or even TV shows, this is mostly due to Reigen, the most charismatic evil spirit exorcist that you will ever find, every single of his shenanigans is amazing.

About the sound... if I were to read the manga now, I'd perfectly associate the VA's voices to the characters, they seem to fit amazingly well, the OP and ED fit like a glove within my music taste and I find myself singing the OP every now and then due to how absurdly catchy it is, and the remaining of the OST and SFX are pretty darn good as well.

If you haven't started this anime yet, you should really check it out! But like I said in the beginning: different people, different opinions.

*Short review for a short series*

Hacka Doll The Animation is a short series of average 5 minutes, taking out the opening and ending, that thrives on randomness and parodies, this alone made it anime short of the year, based Trigger saving anime yet again.

This series will be very hit or miss, depending on whether you know or not what are they parodying so you have the full experience on this series gags.

The animation can also catch you off guard sometimes, but overall is pretty consistent and it's what you will expect.

The only reason this didn't deserve a 10/10 rating it's because my Hacka Doll app ... won't bring out 3 kawaii girls from the phone screen to advance my life.

This review contains HEAVY spoilers, along with personal biased opinions, read at your own risk, also I want to add that I watched this a while ago, so my memory isn't exactly fresh with the events so somethings might be distorted from the original settings.

Monogatari is a very successful acclaimed series which resides on the base of various stories revolving around our main character, Koyomi Ararararagi, oops I sttutered, Araragi is a 18 year old, a young adult who became part vampire due to events related to Kiss-Shot Acelora-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, commonly known as Shinobu in her child form.
He has a serious chronic hero syndrome, ... which is a huge plus, else we wouldn't see all these stories.
Also his voice actor has a really soothing voice.

If you're familiar with the monogatari series, you know this isn't your average anime, you can describe it as an audio-visual story with trippy backgrounds, all source of Studio Shaft, which is widely known and specializes in very fancy avant-garde animation, and even head tilting. Something that adds extra points in the animation is all the Openings and Endings they make for each story arc, each of them are accompanied by some amazing songs with great meanings for the respective arcs, one notable example would be Mousou Express.

As it goes for me, this was the first 'gatari series which I actually enjoyed and had major emotions while watching it! It's my most recommended 'gatari series so far and the best in my opinion.

This series has a grand total of 26 episodes, divided into 6 arcs with 3 recaps inbetween, adapted from the novels:

Nekomonogatari:Shiro [Tsubasa Tiger]
Kabukimonogatari [Mayoi Jiangshi]
Otorimonogatari [Nadeko Medusa]
Onimonogatari [Shinobu Time]
Koimonogatari [Hitagi End]

We start off with Hanekawa's arc, Tsubasa Tiger composed by 5 episodes, which was... arguably the weakest and most boring arc from my point of view, I also wasn't very into the 'gatari series into this point, so it made my experience and enjoyment to start this series a long pushover.

One notable thing from this arc is that Araragi is nowhere to be found, leaving almost all screen time for Hanekawa and also Senjougahara.

Hanekawa encounters a tiger, or should I say an appearance in form of a tiger, white with what appears to be a mix of black/ping/orange stripes, who burns down her house. This tiger decides to torment Hanekawa some more and she eventually decides to confront him with the help of Black Hanekawa, her inner appearance of a cat only to be saved by Araragi wielding Kokoro Watari who downright impales the tiger, ending the danger he was imposing to Hanekawa.
The scene proceeds to Hanekawa declaring her love for Araragi only to get friendzoned.

Nothing notably interesting in this arc, 5 episodes of pandering fanservice, which I guess it was okay for a lot of viewers.

Episode 7, Mayoi Jiangshi, we kick off this episode with... Oshino Ougi, a rather mysterious girl, who came out of nowhere but everyone acts as if she's perfectly normal, she engages with Araragi a conversation about traffic lights, with the undertone of someone's ability to sense danger, Araragi then reminds himself of our favorite ghost girl, Mayoi Hachikuji.

We proceed to the following scene where Araragi is walking around with Mayoi's backpack (she forgot it at his home) and he meets Ononoki with a posed look, they indulge in a chat for a while until Ononoki asks Araragi if Hachikuji was truly happy being a ghost or not.

It was already night and Araragi still hasn't found Hachikuji, Ononoki's words still resonate within him.... is Hachikuji really happy "living" like this? Shinobu then suddendly appears and tells him to stop worrying about such stuff, and focus on school affairs, as he hasn't done any of his school homework yet... and summer break is about to end! Araragi promptly makes a Doreamon reference and requests Nobuemon (Nobu derivates from Shinobu) a time machine, while she teasingly denies him at first, she surprisingly accept his request, and they go to the North-Shirahebi Shrine using the force of the wandering spirits, they return to the past, but something went horribly wrong here, they went 11 years into the past. May 13th.

They walk around for a while and they end up in front of the Araragi's residence, where they spot young Araragi, Shinobu apparently has a knack for his young form and almost assaults him, but is stopped on her tracks by Araragi, followed by a panel "Someone must be a bad influence on her", I wonder who that might be. ~

They follow on and keep walking on the streets, and keep thinking on why they ended up on such date, Araragi realizes that... tomorrow is mother's day and is the day that marks Hachikuji's death and decides to save her, avoiding her ghost transformation. He meets young Hanekawa and harasses her slightly, before Shinobu tells him to stop or he might be arrested, he asks for directions for Tsunade's house (Hachikuji's mother), but gets tricked by her and ends in the police department which he uses anyway to obtain directions.

He stands by near the house several hours waiting for Hachikuji to show up, only for her dad to tell them that she ran from home, Araragi sprints the hell out of there to search for her and he finds her in the park where they first met... and harasses her again, making her run for it, crossing a road with a red light, with a truck passing by at high speed... but she is saved by Araragi at the very last second!

With all this said and done, Araragi and Shinobu make their way to the Temple, which is surprisingly still in ruins like in the present time, but yet it retains enough energy to time warp yet again, and so they return... the entire world was anihilited, at the cost of saving a young girl.

After making sure this is the right timeline (present) they return home, only to find it deserted and the same goes for the whole city. They return to the Temple, and they spot an amulet, a different type of amulet than Meme had given to Araragi, this amulet absorbs surrounding energy, which didn't allow them to return to the past for the time being. Suddendly they are surrounded by zombies, but these won't come near the amulet in the shrine, Shinobu decides to make an escape and promptly jumps away with Araragi and they return home... where Shinobu realizes that she destroyed the world in another timeline due to Araragi not giving her attention.

Araragi ponders the chance of some other survivor being around, and decides to accquire fireworks, they light up the fireworks in an afternoon, only to be swarmed by zoombies yet again, but these suddendly begin to run from a rice shower...who was being thrown by Mayoi Hachikuji?! She had survived all the way from 11 years ago, and also being taught by Meme on how to fight against vampires, she carried a letter for Araragi from him as well explaining the current situation, just how wise is this man?

The latest part of the letter Meme request them to stop Kiss-Shot Acelora-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, so this chaotic world ceases to exist, equipped with dual Kokoro Wataris they make their way to the Temple once again, but there was no need to fight, as the cold-blooded, hot-blooded, iron-blooded vampire simply decides to make Araragi a request of patting her head before returning to their original worldline.

Hachikuji spots Araragi from afar, and salutes him like he does to her, lifting him in the air several times, while licking him, throwing him into a state of confusion thinking it's a paralel world! Only to get refuted immediatly, and proceed with some typical lovely banter between these two, Araragi finally asks if Hachikuji is happy as a ghost. She replies that turning into a ghost was an unhappy event, but she's happy because she met Araragi.

This episodes ends with them walking in the road, together, but Hachikuji still doesn't has her backpack, which presumably she's going to pick up, but this lampshades a critical event that is going to occur.

Oh boy, Nadeko Medusa, an arc that generated so much controversy around fans, and made many people dislike Nadeko, I personally can't understand them, as this story, was the very best in terms of enjoyment.

We start off by having Nadeko giving us a brief description of herself, including favorite stuff, but something is wrong, she has white hair, medusa-like hair. Shortly we're introduced to Kuchinawa, a snake god who is possessing/was swallowed by Nadeko turning her into a god!

Araragi is there, but is beaten and bruised, covered in blood, his left arm is broken, literally, he is now Nadeko's enemy, together with Shinobu they try to stop her, but Nadeko effortlessly wipes them aside with an attack, and strikes Araragi's heart with an arrow-esque snake making his blood rain all over.
You can see that you're in one hell of a ride when an episode starts like this, but why did this happen?
That's just the introduction though, now we can enjoy fully 4 episodes of Otorimonogatari.

Also, notably, look closely at the OP, can you see the ressemblance of it with the OP from Nadeko Snake, the ressemblance it's uncanny, the difference from the pastel like children colors strikes you as something dark will happen, Nadeko isn't smiling anymore, she is at the right side of the screen walking backwards, and looking down having her eyes covered by her bangs, so she doesn't have to look at anyone. She was opening a book? Now she's closing it, she unties the headband that she had, she snatches Araragi as a symbol that she loves him as Kana sings "Zenbu, zenbu, zenbu, zenbu" and many other things which I'll let you figure out for yourself.

Extra points for her enormous love for him being almost magic, possessive, and she's a snake, making Araragi something like a snake whisperer, it's too much of a clever pun to not be noted.

Alright, now starting the actual epsiode we have... Oshino Ougi yet again! She meets Nadeko while riding her bike and almost crashes into her, but jumps above her and crashes into the ground... they have a small banter, but if you're sharp enough you can notice she has something to do with what is going to happen, now and before.

Nadeko starts to have hallucinations of a white snake around her arm, and we're introduced to her school life, which she hates. She actually has the guts to meet with the snake Kuchinawa in the temple, and he corners her with feelings of guilt about the snakes she killed, requesting a favor, a favor to save Kuchinawa, searching for his corpse.

She begins to use Kuchinawa has as a fashionable scrunchie on her right arm, they can talk with each other like this, but he promises not to interfere with everyday life.
At school, a teacher bumps into her, a teacher who also asked something from her, to resolve the problem in her class that nobody seem to get along, Nadeko hasn't done anything towards yet it though, and simply lowers her head with her bangs covering her eyes and the teacher leaves.

That night, she leaves home to search for the corpse of Kuchinawa but she is spotted by Araragi who brings her to his home during the night, and lets her stay in his room, he suggest to sleep together and gets knocked out by Shinobu, sadly. Shinobu unleashes a verbal attack upon Nadeko's attitude and way of life, but she won't even retaliate. She also notices her "natural cuteness", her most hated trait and easy way out of everything.

On the next morning Tsukihi wakes up next to Nadeko and unleashes a verbal attack towards her as well, including the words cute, how cute and also questions her love towards Araragi. Then she promptly follows and cuts her hair bangs with a scissor, making Nadeko scream pretty loudly. [Cue animation number 236 & 240].


A while after, she makes her way to school, and the teacher bumps to her again, pestering her about the class issue, Nadeko was about to use her usual method of hide and cower, but to no avail, and she simply SNAPS right there, a total 180º degree on her character that I couldn't even imagine her having, nor Kana Hanazawa having such potent vocals, she then goes upstair, kicks powerfully the door and unleashes a verbal attack upon her class, needless to say, I had my jaw dropped here, and started to enjoy 'gatari series for the first time ever.

Kuchinawa tells her that his corpse is at Araragi's house, the talisman, she finds him, but Araragi catches her, before he manages to steal it from her hands she eats it and turns into a god.

This turns into what we seen in the prologue of Nadeko Medusa, the battle between them, but just as Nadeko is about to kill Araragi due to the fact that she loves him so much, Araragi phone rings, being Senjougahara the caller, and she request that she may only kill Araragi, herself and Shinobu after they all graduate, Nadeko complies, and with this we get an epic post credit scene which has Nadeko murdering Araragi, Senjougahara, Hanekawa, Shinobu and Hanekawa to an amazing background song to top it off. (Welcome, Big Brother Koyomi. I'll Show You Some Love.)
I wouldn't even be mad if the series ended like this, it felt so complete to me, this was truly the most enjoyable arc for Monogatari so far.

We're more than halfway in the series, at Shinobu Time now, oh, you've had too much screen time with Shinobu already? Fear not, this arc features Hachikuji Mayoi the most, as opposed to Mayoi Jiangshi.

This arc takes place after Shinobu Time and it was very, very sad. It literally crushed my heart and tore it apart at the very end, I can still remember how I was sobbing and how the tears were rolling in my cheeks.

Araragi still has to return Hachikuji's backpack, and makes fun of her claiming she looks more like a slug than a snail due to the lack of the latter.
While they keep chatting, a weird something appears, it was darkness, pure darkness which obviously was not normal and they make a run for it, with the aid of Ononoki they escape to the ruined cram school, Hachikuji becomes unconscious. Here Shinobu tells a tale from 400 years ago, and to be brutally honest I didn't find it very memorable to include it here.

When Hachikuji wakes up, the darkness strikes again, but thankfully Ononoki lends them a hand yet again, and they manage to escape, after that she suggests that he should look for Izuko Gaen, someone who knows it all to help him.
After a very dialogue heavy scene, Izuko asks for 3 favors, and tells Araragi why the darkness is chasing them, is due to Hachikuji failing as a ghost.

As long as she is the lost cow, she has to continue making people lose their way, but Hachikuji refuses to do so anymore. Izuko also claims that the only way that the darkness will dissapear is if Hachikuji dissapears as well.
Araragi is immediatly shocked and doesn't accept that, trying to devote 20 years of his lifespan to her, but only to get a no.

Hachikuji requests that they make their running gag one last time, but instead they kiss, while Hachikuji cries, that she sttutered and that she loved Araragi. We pass forward the ED to see Ougi chatting with Araragi where she claims that she is returning to work, which involves darkness and punishing liars...

So we arrive to our final arc, Hitagi End, and dear god, I didn't expect anything like this, when I saw the name I rolled my eyes thinking to myself - Bleh, a Senjougahara arc.
Dear irony, how wrong was I?

This story was narrated by Kaiki Deishuu instead of our usual character Koyomi Araragi, and it was spun off around having him trying to stop Nadeko's godly form so nobody would die post graduation.
There are really no words that I can use here that would make justice to Kaiki's amazing personality, acts and narration, this story includes comedy, thriller and a whole new side to the famous purple haired tsundere.

You won't expect the ending at all, and it will totally change how you saw this man in Nisemonogatari!

Now that I've finished giving a brief synopsis of the episodes, I'll say it again Monogatari SS was the best of 'gatari series so far, it was the most memorable watch as well, I'm looking forward to see how it all started in Kizu and the latter stories.

Also if I had to rate the enjoyment here it would be : Nadeko Medusa > Hitagi End > Shinobu Time > Mayoi Jiangshi > Tsubasa Tiger
Remember that this is my opinion, not yours, and our opinions may and will differ.

*This review contains spoilers along with my own opinion bias, read at your own risk, and I really mean it when there's HEAVY SPOILERS for at least the first watcher.*
* Also if you're a first watcher, don't watch the regular episode 23 followed by this alternate episode, watch the series then probably the movie, followed by this.*

Steins;Gate episode 23 β is an episode that was aired on NicoNico when the countdown for newest visual novel from the Steins;Gate series, Steins;Gate 0 ended, which was on December 3rd, logically every S;G fan began to get hyped and anxious about this new episode.

This alternate episode starts off ... just like the regular episode 23. (Only about 7 minutes towards the end are different) Oh, you don't remember what was going on in the episode 23? Here's a quick reminder!

Steins;Gate (regular) episode 23 title is "Open the Steins Gate" and it beings with Suzuha explaining that Okabe MUST save Kurisu and avoid World War III, and enter the world line known as Steins;Gate, these two time-travel together to the past, most precisely to the building from episode 1 where everything started, and Okabe hides in the room where Kurisu was stabbed. Kurisu's father, Dr. Nakabachi meets Kurisu in this room and goes berserk on her trying to kill her, Okabe tries to save her... only to kill her herself, oh how cruel is the fate that the mad scientist must go through to save his loved ones. When Okabe returns to the present accompained by Suzuha, he keeps muttering "I killed her..." in a very despair-inducing tone while refusing Suzuha's attempts to return to the past a second time and save Kurisu. While he is on such as traumatic state, Mayushii slaps him and gives him a pep talk insisting that he should never give up, followed by Suzuha telling him that he should have failed saving her... that it would unlock the video message that was unwatchable the day Kurisu died, which contained his future self telling him how to achieve Steins;Gate.

But on the alternate episode... Suzuha tries to slap Okabe so he will try the second attempt, but is stopped by Mayushii, who proceeds to comfort the devastated blood-stained Okabe, hugging him while he cries.
This scene ends and we Okabe lying on the lab couch, with his lab outfit thrown on the ground... in a chill inducing epic post traumatic stress disorder scene hearing some words over and over and over. Shortly after, there's another scene transition where Okabe (damn he looks good in black) meets Mayushii in a park, they walk around for a while while talking, but as we get to know from their conversation, Okabe doesn't go to the lab anymore, meaning he dropped his mad scientist persona.
Okabe then has a monologue "Mayuri is safely here with us. Not this town... Not myself... Nothing at all... has changed." which is followed by the ending music, which completely gave me flashbacks from episode 9 and a complete chill on my spine.
After the ending ends, we see Kurisu... on what appears to be a TV, and Okabe looking at it dumbfounded hearing voices in his head, and accepting the fact that fate is converging yet again.

I personally can't wait for the wild ride that Steins;Gate 0 is gonna be, and this alternate episode is the hype generator for it! The art seems the same as the original S;G which I'm all up for it, since I enjoyed it a lot, the soundtrack is ever-so great along with the voice acting (Mamoru Miyano as Okabe is so freaking good that I can't never have enough), and the plot had a magnificent introduction here. As I finish my review I'll leave these final words.

One Punch Man is an anime that took it's popularity rising like a storm, and many fans claim it's literally saving anime. Here we have an OVA which has all the essence of the main series.

This OVA contains Saitama telling a story to Genos about the origins of his superhero suit and how important it is to him.

At the start we can see Saitama, who still has hair in a jogging outfit defeating ... an evildoer on the streets, but slightly ripping his pants during the act, thus requiring the help of a sewer to fix them! This is where all the OVA unfolds, the sewer is in a pinch due to requesting money from Niya Niya Loans, and they will take his shop, but Saitama decides to intervene or who else would fix his ripped clothes?

Saitama is given the directions of Niya Niya Loans hideout, which is actually his own condominium, he then knocks on different doors and floors to seek out the boss of Niya Niya Loans, but only to find more and more evildoers, that's why the rent of the place was so cheap. He then finally locates him, and the boss transforms into a type of sado-maso fish who gets promptly defeated after ripping slightly Saitama's clothes.

Saitama get's kicked out of the condominium for ruining the landlord income, but he gets the superhero suit we see him use in the main series.

All in all, this OVA was decent, it has literally everything the main series has, except for the one punch KO, I got to point out that I somewhat disliked the fact that the OP and ED from the main series was added into the OVA, for the simple reason that I believe it doesn't fit there, if you enjoyed the current on-going main series, you will enjoy this as well.

This OVA consists of Nunally asking Lelouch to tell her a story like he did long ago... when they were younger and happier, and thus the tale of Nunally in Wonderland begins! (Featuring many characters from CG)

Coincidentally, OVA stands for Original Video Animation, and while this 28min OVA has barely any animation, it contains outstanding artwork, and it portrays a story-telling perfectly with it's bright and detailed colors, beautiful background, page flipping and character interactions.

It has it's comedy, and it's sad moments as well, notably the Fawn(Shirley) moment, or when the White Queen appears to tell about her idea. ...

Overall, I enjoyed it, but you should watch this with a grain of a salt if you're a die-hard Code Geass fan since this has no relation to the original plot, since it's just a children story, don't be swayed by others reviews, but don't be swayed by mine either.

No Game No Life was a really enjoyable experience for me, I decided to watch it since the opening song This Game was pretty much swarming YouTube with covers and remixes, and I actually enjoyed some of those.

We start off with Sora and Shiro, two shut-in NEET siblings playing video games, and guess what? They're damn good at it, these two together form 『　　』 also known as Blank, and Blank never loses. (Blank recieves bonus points in my book for ... the excellent usage of the siblings name, since Blank is literally Kuhaku [空白] in Japanese and is composed by their names: Sora (空) and Shiro (白).

After stomping pretty harshly over 1200 players in the video game they were playing they recieve an E-mail from an unknown sender, who challenges them to a chess match, after a long and an apparently rough time they win and... their room tranforms into a dice shape which falls apart and they are transported to Disboard by Tet, the one true god!
It is also worth noting that after the sudden transportation it's when the show starts to shine with it's fantastic art, produced by Madhouse you know it's gonna be great, an amazing palette of colors which are very vivid and colorful, the backgrounds are great and detailed and even the characters art are really unique.

Disboard is a world where there is no war and everything is decided by games, hence the title, in which they must bet something of equal value to each other, and it sticks true to its title showing us poker, rock-paper-scissors, chess, coin tosses, there's even a VR TV game and many more! All though to engage in a game against someone else you must vow over the ten pledges which are the only rules in Disboard. Of course they don't say it out loud whenever they play a game, they simply raise their right hand and say "Aschente!" (I swear by the pledges)

The sibling soon start to make a living of their own by winning games here and there to earn some gold, they eventually meet Chlammy Zell and Stephanie Dola, the first winning a game against the latter, the granddaughter of the deceased king of Imanity, proceeding to lose again, this time to Sora in a RPS game thus falling in love with him.

Chlammy Zell was trying to become king of Imanity by cheating with the resources of other races (there's 16 races in Disboard, Imanity being the weakest) and Blank tries to stop her, challenging her to a game of chess, but this isn't your regular game of chess, it's animated chess, the pieces have feelings of their own, and they may just not follow their orders, but, as a wise man once said "If the king does not lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?"

After overthrowing Zell, the two sibling are eligible to become king of Imanity, under the false idea that there can only be 1 actual king, it sparks a 3 day all out war-game between those 2, ending up on a tie, where they split the crown, and then delivering one of the best definitive and imperative speeches ever in my honest opinion to the citizens of Elkia while one of the most epic songs of the show plays on the background giving a really chilling vibe. During the end of the speech the Race Piece appears before them, there is one piece per race, and Imanity's piece is the King, collecting all 16 pieces gives the right to challenge Tet for the title of one true god.

Moving along the series, Blank tries to gain information about this Disboard world, since they plan to collect all the pieces they might as well believe they're in an all-out war against the world, and there is no better resource than information. They meet Jibril, a female Flugel guarding the library of Elkia, and their encounter might as well be called the climax of the series, since it contains the very best moments in my opinion, a life or death shiratori game that will leave you on the edge of your seat to see who's the winner.

The final arc covers the dangerous Werebeasts, whose main characters are Izuna, Ino and Miko, the ruler of the Eastern Union. The Werebeasts count on the Blood Destruction trait which significantly increase their physical and sensorial skills to help them win games, and they will be a huge obstacle to overcome for the siblings... especially when they have such trickeries as cheating in VR games.

The show sadly ends on a massive cliffhanger, which while it may be a major turn down for many, it opens a whole new world for people who enjoy reading novels to read such an entertaining series.

All in all, I enjoyed this series greatly, definitely a 10/10 for me, it had a very unique and colorful art, amazing voice acting with an even more amazing soundtrack featuring such as The King's Plan or Reverse?, the show even had some parodies here and there which added to the viewing experience and the amazing story which had the battle of wits essence for me, all culminated in this masterpiece that is No Game No Life.

Before I start this review, I want to make a point, I binged the two seasons in the weekend, wondering why the series was so acclaimed and Lelouch was sitting as #1 top character of MAL, I didn't even thought a series could surpass the feelings I got watching Steins;Gate, but Code Geass made it, it was a masterpiece of anime in my eyes, worth watching every second from the start until the very end.
There's no way I can say it better, you should ... watch this series even if the Mecha tag turns you off, from the very start to the end I didn't thought it was a mecha show but a battle of wits. This should be a must-watch for every anime lover!

Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch R2 / Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, is the sequel for the first season of Code Geass who was left as a cliffhanger, it starts off with our main character Lelouch Lamperouge living his normal life, in Ashford Academy with his friends...but there is no Nunally to be seen, and there is a little brother?! Rolo Lamperouge, a very jealous individual who would kill for his brother, a Geass user and a secret agent sent to monitor Lelouch actions and ensure his memory isn't back. [Charles vi Brittania had used his own Geass to erase Lelouch's memories after the events of the last episode of the first season of CG]

Once he regains his memories, Lelouch strives to change the world yet again to make this a better world for his crippled and blind young sister Nunally by defeating the rotten Britannia under the alias of Zero the commander of the Black Knights with his very resourceful tactis and Batman-esque gambits.

The story proceed to roll on in a similar way to Code Geass S1, with the addition of new characters and old, their development and the ever so magnificent plot twists and deaths... Like Lelouch becoming enemy with Nunally as she is 87th in line of sucession to the Britannian Throne, deciding to resume the Special Administrative Zone of Japan of Euphemia vi Britannia. Lelouch falls in deep despair after knowing about this and attempts to drug him self with Refrain. He proceeds to take the whole Britannia Empire, including his father, the spirit of his mother and many other princes, the fearful F.L.E.I.J.A. warhead, and even "befriending" Suzaku at the very end, thus nominating him Knight of Zero (a very nice word-play if I might say), all for the plan of Zero Requiem.

The animation of the series are pretty good, taking in count when it was made, it's also very fluid, there are barely any negative claims I can make here. Also I haven't seen many of Sunrise animes so I can't judge them fully.

The sound overall is pretty damn good as well, ranging from great seiyuu's to great soundtracks, I personally didn't fancy the openings and endings of this season, but that's me, my only regret about sound is that they didn't use Colors by Flow in the very ending of Episode 25.

Lelouch is the definition of a martyr, if I've ever seen one, he suffers through so much tragedy, losing his best friends, his memories, his army, his family... even his life just for the sake of the peaceful world.

This is directed to all the Lelouch fans out there that want to believe he lived on, related to the bittersweet and ambiguous ending of Episode 25, it is possible that Lelouch is still alive, due to the fact that Nunnaly saw visions when she touched Lelouch's body, such thing happens when you touch someone who has the Code, and that C.C. smiled by the end of the episode, referent to an earlier episode when Lelouch promised he would be back to C.C. thus making her smile.

*It's recommended that you've seen at least the very first Digimon series to get yourself introduced to the characters, this review also contains some points revealed in the movie, so it's advisable to only read it after watching the movie.*

Digimon tri: Saikai (Saikai literally means reunion/meeting). Probably one of the most anticipated entry to the Digimon series ever since it was announced.
As part of my childhood I was pretty hyped about it turned out... just okay.

In this series we get the reunion of the DigiDestined (including a new one) alluring to the respective title, who gather to combat a new menace that's surging upon the ... real world : Infected Digimon (as refered to a secret agent group also introducted in these series)

Straight from the start, I started smiling listening to Butter-Fly, the nostalgia just flew into me, but I have to admit the artist voice doesn't transmit the sheer epicness that Koji Wada transmits to me. Hell, even the scene when Taichi gets the goggles was super cool!

The art looked pretty good (including CGI/new evolution sequences), but now that I grew up, there are some things that make me feel uneasy about it, the voice acting was pretty good as well, but it was a new experience for me since it was the very first time I've watched Digimon with their original japanese voice.

I also had a major issue with how Taichi acted through the series, he was suppose to be corageous and he was so different from how I remember him, I mean even his symbol was the courage symbol, he was afraid of the city destruction and his surroundings which just felt... awkward. The remaining cast remained loyal to my memories so it made up for it.
I will also note that I didn't fancy the end when Agumon/Gabumon entered boss rush mode against Alphamon using their evolutions/finishers, it was decent, but it could have been better if it wasn't so rushed at the very end, maybe save it for the second part?

All in all, I would give it a 7/10 since it was pretty decent overall, even probably an 8/10 for the nostalgia and love I had for the series a child, but nothing more than that.

Before you start reading this, I want to state that I am by no means a professional reviewer, and that this review may contain some sort of bias.

After watching the anime series and achieving a very high level of satisfaction of it, I've decided to pick up on the mangas, whether they are prequels, sequels or spin-offs to enjoy myself some of Steins;Gate, but I've got to say, I'm quite shocked to see how they aren't more popular/talked ... about since the actual anime is so sucessful.

Onshuu no Brownian Motion or Braunian Motion of Love and Hate in English, this manga goes into the backstory of Tennouji Yuugo also known as Mr. Braun, which occurs in the Alpha world line.
And we actually get to know a lot of it! Such as Nae's mother, Imamiya Suzuri, his past with Hashida Suzu(Amane Suzuha) and how he ended up grouped with SERN rounders.

Story: 10/10
It's a Steins;Gate story, if you enjoyed the main series, you will obviously enjoy this!

Art: 8/10
There were some panels that I didn't got delighted at, but the art overall is very solid and clean.

Characters: 10/10
We get to see some old and new characters here, and a lot of development as well.

Enjoyment: 10/10
I skimmed through the manga in 2 days, during some breaks I had here and then, and every single I spent reading it was worth it! There's some emotional moments as well and an ending that might just not please some people but I enjoyed this manga as a whole.
